The location was beautiful, such close proximity to nature and lots of hiking, and not a long walk from the small town of Niseko. It is a well-designed, welcoming build, and is more comfortable than many other hostels. The staff were absolutely sensational!

Great location and atmosphere. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The common lounge was also nice.
The guests did not follow the quiet rules and we were kept up until late by people laughing/talking. I wish the staff explained the rules to the guests and enforced them better.

I stayed for 4 nights at the end of my 6-week trip, and it was the perfect way to finish my journey.
The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and have windows overlooking beautiful greenery. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, to my taste (Japanese style).
I especially loved the communal areas—they were perfect for relaxing, reading by the fire, or socialising with other travellers and staff. Everything was exceptionally well maintained and kept immaculate. The attention to detail is crazy.
What truly made this stay special, however, was the seasonal staff. Koyuki, Keita, Koko, Kurumi, and Yohei do an incredible job of making everyone feel welcome and comfortable. They always had smiles on their faces, were eager to help, and went out of their way to make sure guests had everything they needed.
The atmosphere is incredibly warm and homely in such an amazing setting.
