Such a nice way to go see the whale sharks.
The lady who owns the place is really nice, and her Nephew Jojo was really great the day we went to swim with the whale sharks. I didn't talk to the girl there, but she always had a smile.
You pay the place directly for the whale sharks.
cost 1100 but the extra hundred os worth the money, as they look after you in the complete chaos at the check in area.
the bungalow was really comfy, and the mossie net worked a treat. The bed was also spotless
Strong WiFi, and the dogs and cats are great.
pool table wasn't really working. 😕

Sharky Hostel was the perfect accomodation for swimming with the whale sharks! They organise the entire experience for you, and wake you up at 4am to register for your experience. The sign up area would be a MAXIMUM of 100 steps away. They then wake you up again at 5am to get ready for the swim. You are pretty much guaranteed to be on the first boat out to the whale sharks when you stay here. The private bungalows are fairly basic, and don’t really lock, but the whole site feels super safe with the staff staying on site.
The shared toilets didn’t flush very well, and there are only a few of them to service the whole hostel. We didn’t shower here as we only stayed for one night, but they didn’t appear to work very well, so plan accordingly.
