Their tree house are amazing! They are very close to Elephant Street and we even had a wild elephant passing right next to the property! Despite being so close to wildlife, the family always made us feel completely safe. They are very experienced.
Their food is also AMAZING
honestly, the best kottu we had during our entire trip around Sri Lanka!
Such a special place and a wonderful family. We absolutely recommend staying here. Would love to come back!

Excellent hosts who in addition organised our safari and trip to Polonarua with people that they knew who were very very good and significantly cheaper than "normal" prices

Spacious room with good AC and comfortable beds. Nice (sri lankan!) breakfast. Helpful host family.
The host was very pushy. He always started off friendly asking what our plans were, then he ended up pushing us into booking him as our tuktuk driver or tour guide. Which would be okay, but he used false information to do so. For example: he said usual drivers don't take you to certain temples and/or charge too much. NOT TRUE, all tuktuk apps and drivers in the street will take you and charge LESS.
