Super leuke hut! Als welkomsdrankje kregen we een kokosnoot met een maïskolf. Heel lekker ontbijt, en avondeten was ook top! Midden in de jungle. Heel rustgevend.

Everything was nice. Dinesh organised everything we needed (safari, transport to the beach, scooters…) and was always friendly and helpful as was his whole family. The breakfast is one of the best we had (changing every day). The treehouse is clean and there are mosquito nets. The balcony is very nice to just sit there and read. It is a very quiet place. When we arrived we had fresh flowers and a note with the wifi password in the room. It’s just a lot of details that show you how thoughtful the hosts are. Within 20 minutes you can walk to the city center.

It is pretty basic (everything selfmade) which is just something you need to know. But for this price it is so much nicer than we had ever expected

L’environnement était calme, agréable et reposant. La cabane est confortable et très sympa. Nos hôtes ont été très gentils, ils nous ont cuisiné les repas du soir et nous ont aidé à organiser notre programme autour de Sigiriya. Nous recommandons fortement !

Nous avons adoré notre séjour et le logement mais il n’est peut être pas adapté pour ceux qui sont gênés par la proximité avec la nature (bruits, insectes)

Super nette Gastfamilie. Dinesh besitzt ein TukTuk, mit dem er seine Gäste zu fairen Preise zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten der Umgebung fährt. Weiterhin hat er uns auch von Habarana vom Zug abgeholt und uns nach Dambulla zum Bus gefahren. Wir haben zwei Nächte hier verbracht und jeweils Frühstück und Abendessen (Zuzahlung) in der Unterkunft bekommen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und sehr viel, niemand muss hungrig ins Bett gehen. Das Baumhaus selbst liegt im Garten, von der Terrasse aus können alle möglichen Tiere beobachtet werdet. Es ist wirklich sehr idyllisch und ruhig (bis auf die Tiergeräusche natürlich). Man sollte sich bewusst sein, dass es sich um ein selbstgebautes Baumhaus mitten im Wald handelt. Die Wände und Decken sind nicht abschließend verbaut, wodurch sich das ein oder andere Krabbeltier den Weg nach innen findet, wir hatten zum Beispiel die ein oder andere Kröte im Bad. Wenn man das vorhandene Fliegengitter nutzt ist man jedoch von sämtlichen Tieren geschützt. Preisleistungstechnisch kann man hier wenig falsch, wenn man die oben genannten Punkte bedenkt. Wir zumindest haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden auch wiederkommen.

We loved the novelty of being able to stay in treehouse style accommodation. The space was super clean, tidy and very private. We enjoyed our meals at the Akash Treehouse also. We would recommend this accommodation to others.

The place is amazing. It’s just a dream come true. The family were so kind with us, we felt one more. Was by far, the best stayed we had in Sri Lanka. It was magic and they teached us how to cook typical things. It was incredible. Oh and the dogs there are just making everything better. We are so greatful we choosed them. Thank you so so so much :)

We loved staying at Akash! The treehouse was beautiful, with peaceful surroundings and easy to get to the sights. Our hosts were wonderful! The meals were also a highlight as were their sweet dogs. Thanks!

The Akash treehouse is perfect! It is so beautiful! All so comfortable! It has a bathroom and very comfy beds! No need to be scared of insects, there is a bednet. The Family is just amazing! Soo friendly and welcoming. You can take a cooking class with the Host. You feel there like a family member.
