Charming appartment Ideal for 4 guests, in San Pietro, 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms
About this condo rental
A brand-new awesome 70-squared meters flat with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and one living room with kitchen, just 10 minutes walking from San Pietro Basilica. It is easily connected with both the airports (Fiumicino and Ciampino) and the main train station in Rome (Termini) as it is 2 minutes walking from San Pietro train station. The flat is located at the last (third) floor of one building equipped with elevator. The 2 bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, equipped with AC, automatized rolling shutter and cupboards. One of the bedroom is furnished with old Venetian style furniture while the other with more linear and modern furniture. Both the bedrooms have their own bathrooms, equipped with box. However, while one of the bedrooms has the bathroom attached, the other has the bathroom after the living room. The living room has a smart TV, a dining table and a small (2 induction stoves) but well equipped kitchen, with dish washer, oven and obviously the fridge. AC is also available in the living room. From the living room you can also access a small balcony, where there is a small coffe table for 2 where you can have your breakfast or simply chill. In the living room there is also a comfortable couch bed where an additional guest or 2 children can sleep (cm 140 matress size). Washing machine is not available but as I live next door I am happy to wash your laundry for you. WI-FI is also provided. Please note that both the bathrooms do not have the "bidet" but have WC-bidet instead. I am saying this especially for Italians as this is something they normally want. Basic items such as oil, vinaigrette, salt, sugar, coffee, washing soap and dish washer soap will be provided. The area is extremely central and very well-connected, with bus and trains. If you enjoy walking, you can easily take a nice stroll to San Pietro Basilica and Colonnato (10 minutes), Castle Sant'Angelo (15 minutes), Vatican Museums (15 minutes), the lively neighborhood of Trastevere (25 minutes) and the rest of the city center (20 minutes, depending of where you have to go). However, if you are not big fans of strolls, you can easily move around with public means of transportations. I will leave in the house leaflets and materials about Rome and going around in Rome, as well as info on restaurants which are worth going. In the immediate locations of the house, there is a nice 24/7 supermarket (Carrefour), a pharmacy and everything else you may need. Once the booking is confirmed, I will share with you information on how to get to my place. It is not possible to smoke in the flat, but you can use the balcony for that. PLEASE NOTE that tourist tax will have to paid on cash upon arrival and it will amount to 3.50 Euros per person per day. ITALIAN: The 70 square meter apartment located in the San Pietro district in Rome has been recently renovated to make it modern and comfortable, both for couples and for families or groups of friends. It is extremely convenient to reach and well connected as San Pietro station, literally two minutes walk from the apartment, has frequent connections with both Rome airports (Fiumicino and Ciampino) and also the main railway station of the city, Termini . The apartment is located on the third and top floor of a small building and has an elevator. There are two spacious and well ventilated bedrooms (matriomonials), equipped with air conditioning and automatic shutters. One room is furnished with Venetian-style furniture, while the other has a more linear and modern design. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower (not tub) and one you have two has a curtain instead of the box. While one bedroom has a bathroom practically attached, the other has a slightly more "distant" bathroom, as there is a living room in the middle. The bathrooms also, for space requirements, have a toilet. In the living room there is a smart TV, a dining table, a small induction kitchen (2 burners) but well equipped (45 cm dishwasher, oven, fridge). In the living room there is also a very comfortable sofa bed, with a seat for three people. The sofa becomes a bed with a simple gesture and the mattress (length 140 cm, thickness 14 cm, a French bed and a half in practice) can accommodate an adult or two children. The living room also leads to a small but lovely terrace on which there is a coffee table for two people. The living room is also air conditioned. The whole apartment is equipped with high-speed WI-FI. I will leave stocks of oil, vinegar, salt, sugar, coffee, dish soap, and body soap in the apartment. The area, as already mentioned, is extremely central: if you love taking walks, you can reach the following places in a few minutes on foot: the Basilica of San Pietro and Bernini's colonnade (10 minutes), Castel Sant'Angelo (15 minutes ), Vatican Museums (15 minutes), the Trastevere district (25 minutes) and the rest of the center (20-30 minutes, it depends on where exactly you want to go). If, on the other hand, you don't feel like walking, you can easily visit all these places and others, using public transport, such as buses and urban trains. I will leave in the house brochures and tourist information material on Rome and how to move in addition to some references of restaurants that are worth visiting (in my opinion ☺). In the immediate vicinity of the house, there is a Carrefour super market open 24 hours, a pharmacy and other main shops that you may need. Once the booking is confirmed, I will share the details with you to get to my house in the most congenial and most comfortable way. Just as I will do my best to guarantee you a pleasant stay, I will kindly ask you to respect the normal rules of good conduct in respect of the other condominiums living in the building, such as avoiding loud noises after 10 pm and to speak in a low voice when you go up the stairs or take the elevator. It is not possible to smoke in the apartment, however you can do it on the balcony. The Tourist Tax is not included in the room price. It must be paid in cash and separately on arrival. This corresponds to € 3.50 per person per day, as per the regulation of the Municipality of Rome.

There were 5 of us: me, my friend, my teenage daughter, and my friend's teenage daughter and son. While it was snug with the 5 of us (one teenager using the sofa bed), it was absolutely fine, and the two bathrooms were a big help. The communication with Maria was very good both before and during the trip, and she was very helpful.
The apartment was reasonably well equipped (although might benefit from a bit more cutlery, bowls, and plates, etc.) and there is salt, oil, a bit of coffee, etc. There was a half drank bottle of coke in the fridge, which was a bit odd. A pint of milk would have been very welcome as we arrived late at night.
The apartment is very well located. There are two supermarkets within minutes, and it is in walking distances of most of the key areas. We walked everywhere - doing about 25,000 steps a day - and visiting many of the sites. This is definitely a bit attraction of the apartment.
We would definitely stay again.

Our stay was delightful. The condo is very spacious and well-equipped with everything you might need. The location is perfect, blocks frim the train station, a block from a grocery store, excellent restrauants a few blocks away. The condo is in a quiet area just a short walk from the Vatican and an easy beautiful walk to most verything in Rome.

Close to nice restaurants, groceries and bus stop. This was a very good place to stay and Maria was always very helpful. Would highly recommend.

We got to Rome around noon and even thought check in time was not til 4, Maria graciously let us drop all our luggage off. The apartment is comfortable and in a great location. Would definitely recommend.

Superb apartment, 15 minute walk to st peters square and not too far from many main attractions. Close to cheap and easy to use public transport routes. If your planning to explore Rome, this accommodation will fit your needs perfectly. Some decent bar/restaurants just a couple of minutes aways, along with supermarkets. Add to all this, the host is easily available and happy to help. Go for it guys

Enjoyed the comfortable size and location of the apartment. We liked the quiet neighborhood, yet close to St. Peter's and the hub of Rome.

Excellent host. Host left information to areas and restaurants. This about a 10 minutes to the Vatican. Lovely apartment and very quiet. Thank you.

Very nice apartment a short distance from Vatican City. Easy acces to public transit. Nice restaurants nearby, as well as grocery shopping if you plan on doing your own cooking. Laundry available.
Only complaint is that we never met our friendly, communicative host!

Wonderful place to stay! The apartment is delightful. It is in walkable distance from the Vatican. Maria has helpful information in the apartment, we appreciated her restaurant suggestions, we had the best pizza ever! Maria is a kind & thoughtful host. We highly recommend her.

New, clean apartment with large bedrooms and comfy beds. Well supplied kitchen. Extras such as oils, coffee, spices, etc. It was over 100°f while there so spent afternoons in the apartment and it was very comfy for 3 adults.
Host Maria is wonderful! Although we had no problems, she was very quick to answer questions. Her guest book has many recommendations. She helped us with transportation. Great experience!
Short walk to Vatican City and easy bus ride to Ancient City core. Neighborhood restaurants, coffee bars, and market were great. Nice to be with the local neighborhood people and friendly shop owners.
Great place to stay!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. We honestly thought it was nicer than what the pictures showed. It is a little further away from the center of Rome which we were okay with because it was quieter. When we walked up to the building originally we were skeptical and so pleasantly surprised when we got inside. Maria continually checked in on us too which was comforting. Our only gripe was that the beds and pillows are uncomfortable.

The Host thought of everything. The apartment was very clean, had everything we needed, and was so comfortable. It is in a great location, near restaurants, sites, and a grocery store. It was perfect.

This apt. Was super great for 2 couples. It’s very close to all the popular sites, yet just a fringe on the outside for my husband who does not like to walk, it was not close enough.
Check in directions were spectacular.
There is a great market close by, but a tad too far from a good morning capuchino. The price starts out excellent, but the extra fees make it just a good value.

Maria is a wonderful host who made our stay easy and comfortable. We really appreciated the AC and the laundry, and the sweet balcony. Good neighborhood close to shops and train station.
5.0
First, Maria was wonderful! She was wonderful to communicate with and very helpful. Second, apartment was clean and as advertised. We were somewhat skeptical when we first pulled up as this is a neighborhood that is off the beaten path. This turned out to be a great thing. Many families in the area and it's a traditional neighborhood for much of Rome. 24 hours after checking in, all of our fears were cast aside! We felt safe walking around at night and there are many great restaurants

Lovely apartment in a central location. Easy walk to lots of attractions. Good transport links. Wonderful and very helpful host. I'd happily stay here again.

Great neighborhood, very close to S. Pietro train station but quiet. Walking distance to many sights including Vatican City. Apartment was clean, quiet and well stocked with all the comforts of home. Host was very gracious and checked in via messenger to see if we needed anything. Fantastic food options close by!!

The apartment is an excellent choice for people who want to explore Rome through walking. It's very close to the San Pietro square (Vatican) and is on a walking distance to many other attractions within the center of Rome.
The place itself is cozy and charming, clean and with a separate bathrooms for each bedroom.
Also the host Maria is very kind, helpful and responsive, ready to guide and support anything you may ask for.
We would definitely want to stay in this apartment again when we will visit Rome next time.

First visit to Rome and we couldn't have asked for a better host. Maria was friendly, accessible and motivated to help us have a good time. Apartment is centrally located being walking distance to the Vatican and 5mins walk from the train station. Highly recommended. 5 star

5 minutes to the train station, 12 minutes to St. Peter's square, close to restaurants and grocery store. Ideal location. Would highly recommend.

This is a nice, clean and recently renovated apartment with two separate bedrooms and bathrooms near Vatican City. Property Manager is very responsive, accommodating and helpful. It is only a few minutes to a train station and about 30 minute walk to main attractions in Rome. I highly recommend this place overall.

Maria was an excellent host and the communication was exceptional. We booked this location at the last moment after our previous booking was cancelled by the owner two days prior to our schedule arrival. This turned into a blessing. We loved the apartment. Location was ideal as we were close to the sights but not right in the middle of all the business of the tourist areas.
Easy walk to the Vatican and surrounding sights. There are plenty of places to eat and a few markets very close by should you wish to pick up a few items. For sights such as the Colosseum, we took a taxi. Everything else we walked to. We do enjoy walking and going a mile and a half is not far to us. Bonus of walking is you experience more of Rome than just the tourist areas. It was very safe to walk anytime of the day.
The apartment was spacious for three. It was clean and all the necessities were provided. Maria was so helpful. We recommend this property and Maria- 100%

Came with my husband and elderly parents! 4 of us! Really great location as you can hear the church bells from St. Peter’s Church. We even saw the Pope on his Wednesday morning mass ( but from afar, still saw him on his white robe ❤️ )
Maria is a great host! She guided us in everything we asked her! She will update her resto list to try in her book but we found these places pretty good!!!!
- L’Altra Guancia
- Hosteria Costanza
- Osteria Fratelli Mori
- Il Fornaio ( for baked goods)
LOCATION is awesome as it’s not like busy Rome downtown. Apartment is in a residential district so no noise from busy roads. There’s a CarreFour express grocery
TRANSPORTATION - don’t rent a car! I recommend you use Uber app to order your ride around town… you can choose Black or Taxi…. I find it’s cheaper to do the Uber that selecting Taxi (IT Taxi is the company) just compare it… for example, taxi will say price is euro 11 to 14…. But their meter is still going so you pay the last price showing on meter! Could be less but could also be more!
TOURS -
OVERALL — wonderful stay in Rime for the first time!

The owner was very responsive and helped us with any questions we had. She made recommendations for restaurants and directions. The property was well located and lived the balcony for coffee in tge morning and a well earned beer/glass of wine in the afternoon., we walked everywhere.

The property is a little tucked away in an apartment block but we found it only took around 10 minutes to get to the Vatican, so made a great retreat for our stay. The apartment is very well setup with 2 large bedrooms with King-size beds and plenty or wardrobe/drawer space. The 2 bathrooms were ideal, and the living and cooking space was just what we needed. The Veranda was a nice little surprise as was the close access to a very good supermarket. The best part of the stay was our Host Maria, who really made us feel very welcome to Rome, kept in contact, answered any questions we had and even told us about events going on during our say. We could not praise her enough. Thank you once again Maria, for really helping to make our stay so great.

The property was amazing, very accurately described, clean, comfortable, had everything we needed. Close to the Vatican, about a 35-40 min walk to central Rome. The hostess was amazing and very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice, clean apartment close to train station , St Peter square , grocery stores and in-town transportation. Recently and well-renovated, well-equipped with all required amenities and lots of extras (soaps, bathroom, laundry and kitchen products). A/C worked well and was most welcome. Bedrooms were large and comfortable, and two complete bathrooms were a huge asset. The elevator was especially helpful for bringing suitcases easily to the third floor apartment.
Maria was close by and helpful. We were very happy with our choice and would recommend this place.

I was travelling with my teenaged nephew, and this was our first visit to Italy. Maria provided excellent directions, making our train ride from the airport directly to her property stress-free. The flat was as advertised—clean and well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. The proximity to the train station would be a definite plus to anyone with the patience to learn routes and schedules, but since we packed a lot into our four-day stay, we were a bit lazy and with the exception of transportation from the airport, relied on taxis to get around.

Maria-the Host is a super-kind person, very helpful when you are hungry at 10pm or you need advice when you are lost IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. Place is super clean and quiet which is crucial when you are traveling with infant. I can not say a single bad Word about this place. Recommendation 1000%

Very pleasant
We found the apartment to be a real bargain. It was pleasant, comfortable, and well appointed. There were a few pleasant surprises, including air conditioning in every room and a washing machine on the deck. Two minor issues. We were a little disappointed to come back from an extremely hot day of walking around Rome to find the air conditioning had all been turned off, both because it was stuffy and because we weren’t notified the apartment would be entered. Also, while we were by no means loud guests, a neighbor downstairs pounded on the ceiling when we were simply conversing late at night, and did so on two successive nights. So one should just be aware that there is a very sensitive downstairs neighbor (and/or very poor sound insulation). Certainly not enough to seriously impact our enjoyment of the apartment. I appreciated the induction cooktop, but others might need some more guidance with it. Also, the controls for the range hood are extremely confusing. Overall, it was a joy to stay in such a pleasant home so close to the Vatican, Trastevere, and all of downtown Rome. Would gladly book again!

Apartment was very nice.
The location was excellent.
The most important thing, is the Host made the experience worry free.

Vatican
The property is close to the Vatican. Our group had a difficult time with the hill to and from the apartment and the nearby restaurants. the kitchen needed to be stocked better with cooking utensils. the stove was difficult to operate and food items on the shelves were outdated and opened.

Dear Maria,
Thank you very much for your hospitality! We have felt very comfortable. The apartment is located within walking distance to St. Peter's Square in the beautiful San Pedro neighborhood. Thanks to Maria's great tips, we were able to not only eat great food, but also experience the unique flair of the city.
Supermarkets or restaurants are within walking distance. The apartment was wonderful for our short trip to Rome. Two bathrooms & two bedrooms and even a small balcony. Everything was very neat and clean. Maria is a very kind host who was always responsive to help.
We will come again, thank you very much! Grazie Mille!
