Nestled in Trogir, this lovely villa for $661 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Villa Drage was built on a fenced property of 16,000 square meters. It's located on the slopes of Kozjak near the town of Trogir. Fantastic panoramic view of Kastela Bay and Split will leave you breathless. You will enjoy in peaceful atmosphere among 400 olive and almond trees. Villa has very peaceful surroundings, with only one other house in 1km range. That means that in few minutes drive you can get to many beaches, bars, restaurants and shops but still have total privacy, peace and quiet once you get back to the villa. It was built in cascade and extends over 3 levels. The first level has a kitchen, dining room, living room area connected with the study / library area on the gallery, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The second level comprises a bedroom with a bathroom, an apartment with a living area, one bedroom, bathroom and a mezzanine bedroom on the third level. All rooms have access to the loggia / terrace / balcony area with garden furniture.

We are a group of five work colleagues who all work from home and we stayed in the house for 4 nights to both meet face to face and enjoy some social time together. It was very easy with e-mail communication prior to our arrival, we dealt with the owners' son and he answered and helped us with all our questions and requests. One of our group had a birthday while we were at the house and the owners wife made a lovely birthday cake. The house itself had everything that we needed. We didn't use the kitchen much as breakfast was provided (for an additional and reasonable cost) and we ate out in the evenings in Trogir. The house was easy to get to by taxi from the airport and back and forth from Trogir. We enjoyed the pool area very much and want to extend a big thank you to the owners for making our stay so enjoyable.

The kids loved the pool, the adults loved the views and convenient location. We all enjoyed touring Split, Trogir and the areas beautiful beaches. Our hosts were welcoming and available as needed. The outdoor space was perfect for relaxed family dinners at the stone grill, complete with outdoor plates, cookware and dishwasher. Loved our time in Croatia at the beautiful villa.

We are doing a 1 week friends trip every year in this region and this year, we were 12 people (all around 30years of age) to enjoy life in a private villa.
We were hosted by Mladen and his wife. In advance I clarified all the questions with his son, Arsen, so we were totally prepared for a good stay. But when we arrived, we were totally blown away by the beauty and possibilities of this amazing villa and ground. Mladen and his wife have prepared so many little gifts for us, that we felt at home from the very first second on. They lived also on the ground, but were very careful in letting us be on our own - so we at the same time felt very private, but cared. The organized everything, what we needed and we could call them any time fit help. I never experienced such a great service!
Besides that, the house and area offers so many possibilities! The pool is amazing, the big tree offers shadow the whole day while being an amazing eye catcher. The outdoor kitchen and pool house have hosted some little parties in the night and the rest of the outside area was just beautiful. The house itself offers so many rooms and beds, it perfectly fitted for the 12 people of us. Many bathrooms, whirlpool and other things like a beautiful look from the top room make it perfect. Besides this, the house has a unique character as there are many personal things like a library, jazz corner and other things that Mladen showed us that give the house a personal incredibly unique character.
We all can only recommend this amazing villa, might for a family stay or a group of friends or other occasions, it is just gorgeous!
Thanks to the whole family for hosting us, we will definitely come back!!

I would give it 6 stars if I could!
We had the most fabulous week at Villa Drage. Malden and his wife were the best hosts imaginable! There were 9 of us, from 11 to 72, and the house was perfect. The setting is so lovely that we sometimes had to push ourselves to get out and see the sites. You do need a car, but everything you need or want is a short drive away. We are already planning our next trip back to Croatia and we woykdnt stay anywhere else.

Exceptionell villa and wonderful host family
We spent a week in june with a family of 10. Its exactly the same as in the pictures and the experience is like previous reviews. We enjoyed the whole week and Mladen with his wife made the week even better.
Villa Drage is highly recommendable and hopefully we can go back to this beautiful area and Villa Drage once again.
We also hope that Croatia will win the World-Cup i football

We recently stayed in this amazing villa and have an fabulous time, the villa is beautiful and the family are so friendly and accommodating and couldn't do enough for us to ensure we had a good time. We had a BBQ night and the food that we received was mouth watering and so tasty. Thank you so much for making a very memorable trip and 12 ladies very happy !!!

When I first made the reservation, I was VERY nervous transferring such a large amount of money directly to the homeowners bank account. You hear horror stories all the time about scams like that BUT THIS WAS NOT THE CASE! I am so happy I went through with the booking. The reviews on HomeAway and the many other websites (google "Villadrage") are all legit. During the booking process, Arsen was always quick to reply to messages and made booking the home a breeze.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by the Hosts who prepared a small meal for us as well as welcome drinks! They showed us around the beautiful home and were great the entire trip. I've never had hosts that were more welcoming than they were.
The home is furnished well and they have everything you could need. If you do find yourself needing anything, the grocery store is very close by. The airport is less than 10 minutes away and the town of Trogir is also really close by. Split was a little further but the drive isn't bad at all.
The pool, home and yard were very clean. it made for a very comfortable stay. It was a very relaxing trip and I'm very grateful to Arsen and his family for letting us stay at their beautiful Villa. We even purchased some of their award winning olive oil!

Beautiful property full of character and fabulous views
I would definitely recommend Villa Drage.
As two families with teenagers the villa was perfect, there was plenty of space for everyone inside the villa and outside around the pool. Mladen and his wife are wonderful hosts and greeted us on arrival with some wonderful food and their award winning olive oil. The pictures are a true representation of the villa with beautiful uninterrupted views. It is easily accessibly by car from the main road. Trogir is a short drive where there are plenty of restaurants and small shops. Split airport was a 10 minute drive. KrKa National Park was a 40 minute drive, which is well worth visit.

Stunning views and villa!
We just returned from a wonderful stay at Villa Drage for my mum's 60th birthday. It was a pleasure to meet Mladen and his wife who made our stay extra special. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they helped us hire a boat to go island hopping, and were quick to help with whatever we needed... they also produce the most delicious olive oil!
We were 6 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of space in the villa. The views were simply breathtaking from everywhere! Everything inside the villa is finished to a very high spec and there are plenty of towels / a full kitted out kitchen and an outdoor BBQ area. We spent a lot of time in the pool. Its is in a perfect location, being close to Trogir and not too far from Split and a 5 minute drive to the local supermarket. Highly recommended!

As in pictures, view stunning
Mladen and his wife were extremely welcoming when we arrived, showing us around the villa, and they had prepared some food and drinks for us.
The villa itself is exactly as in pictures - super clean, lots of space, the downstairs bath being a particular highlight! The surroundings are really quiet, the view is stunning.
The only downside to our stay was the temperature of the pool. We asked for it to be heated (costing 50 euros per day) however the temperature was around 20 degrees for the majority of our stay and didnt get much warmer. This meant we couldn't fully enjoy the pool comfortably.
Other than that I would 100% recommend this villa.

Wonderful family vacation in Villa Drage
We are two British families and spent a week in Villa Drage during our summer holidays, and had a wonderful time. Mladim and Ojdana looked after us very well, welcoming us when we arrived, tending to our every need but ensuring we had privacy when we wanted it. The villa is large and comfortable with excellent facilities: the pool and ping pong were in constant use as well as the poolside outdoor kitchen / bar which became the centre of our lives. On our last evening Ojdana helped grill the fish we'd bought from the market: the result was spectacular. We left with several bottles of their delicious olive oil, the produce of the olive groves that surround the house.
Altogether a wonderful holiday. We'd all highly recommend it.

Magnificent villa with wonderful outdoors and pool
A superb villa with everything that you could need for a perfect family holiday. There is a huge amount of space, all of which is to a very high standard. In addition the outdoor area is fantastic with the pool, the outdoor dining and the barbecue set up perfectly to enjoy the tranquil setting. Perhaps best of all is the incredibly warm welcome that you receive from the wonderful Krnic family. It is the best villa we have ever stayed in.

A beautifully furnished, clean and private villa.
This was our second visit to Villa Drage, and we will certainly be coming back. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners, who are on hand to help in anyway they can. We stayed for two weeks in the villa with a group of varying ages. From the villa we could visit all sorts of beautiful places. We love Split and its stunning architecture and Trogir is a short drive away and again is a pretty town with a wonderful network of bustling lanes, leading to a busy river front, and we spent many happy evenings watching the luxury yachts coming and going. Our teenagers had several evenings in Split and were able to get back to the villa safely. We took a trip on a seaplane to the island of Hvar. The plane leaves from Split airport, and is therefore very easy to get to from the villa, it is also very reasonably priced and was a great experience......Hvar is a stunning island and definately worth a visit. I cannot recommend this villa highly enough and now consider the owner and his family to be friends.

The family Krnic was not only very helpful and welcoming, they really treated us as members of their own.
The house in the middle of olive trees has all the ammenaties you can imagine.
Fantastic view on the sea and Split.... breath taking!

vacation. Last, the house is centrally located next to Split, Sibenik, Omis, Brac, Trogir, national Parks Krka
and Plitvice etc..

Quiet luxury villa with magnificient view
It was our first time in Croatia and we were curious about what we'll discover not only in the country but also as level of facilities and services.
And we were not disappointed at all !
The villa is magnificent, perfectly maintained, the neighbourhood very quite and the view splendid.
We also add a very warm welcome from the owners (probably the best we ever had in holidays rental) and very good help and advices from them during our stay.
The country is also very nice (don't hesitate to follow the advices of the owner, Mladen, for visits). You're very close to Trogir and Split and not so far to Krka National Park.

We had such a great time with two families in this spacious and stylish Villa. The amenities are all that you need, well equipped kitchen and outdoor eating area under the olive tree was just stunning. There is enough to do for bigger children and also for smaller children. Also we received the warmest welcome from the owners. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this villa for location, facilities and its close distance to Trogir and the airport.

Fabulous villa with everything just right
Beautiful property just as promised in the pictures, lovingly & tastefully decorated, solid good quality fixtures & fittings, fantastic attention to details...24 hours hot water and a number of airconditioners in the entire house for temp control, well stocked kitchen not lacking in any appliances or essentials and the same can be said for the laundry room. Clean & well ventilated house with lovely rooms, central lounging area being the best part of the house with a high glass ceiling and through its doors leading to the patio which overlooks the distant sea below and a swimming pool with lounge chairs. lovely setting for an evening drink, overlooking the sea below. one of the bathrooms in the house is huge with a juccuzi fitted in it. It is quite impressive, although we never got down to using it.
This whole package complemented by a gracious, warm & friendly host & his wife, who gave us a warm welcome with her home cooked delicious treats and his home made sherries & their prize winning delicious Olive oil, is unbeatable. Mladen is the most gracious & helpful host we have met so far... going out of his way to help and at the same time, taking care to be totally unintrusive. Even their dog, Duje, was very friendly and greeted us enthusiastically every time he saw us.
We would love to return here some day and spend more time at the house in order to enjoy it.

Superb villa, luxurious and so well equip
What a fantastic villa - luxurious and so well equipped. Inside was spacious, comfortable and everything was to an excellent standard, with lots of personal touches - full of beautiful art and other memorabilia. Every room was different - from the spacious lounge with those oh so comfortable sofas, to the upstairs sitting room and lovely bedroom at the top of the house, and most rooms with lovely views.... and to be able to lie in the (double!) spa bath and look up the mountain was amazing!
The pool was fantastic, and the whole outside area was stunning - beautiful gardens with numerous shrubs and plants, small playground, gym, unbelievable outside kitchen with BBQ, and a variety of areas for sitting and eating in and out of the sun. We were six adults - including grandparents, and a toddler, and we were all catered for!
Mladen and Ojdana had thought of so many extras, and were so welcoming - what a delightful couple - and had prepared delicious food for us. Nothing was too much trouble.
Thank you - it was a delight to stay there and we will definitely be back!
The villa was conveniently situated up the mountain overlooking the airport, but with very little noise, and wonderful views. Trogir is a beautiful town - both during the day with lots of historic places to visit and boats and yachts to watch - and the evening with lovely restaurants and shops, and a chance to walk along the seafront. We enjoyed one of the beaches on Ciovo, spent a most interesting day in Split but also enjoyed relaxing by the pool and enjoying this spectacular villa!

Villa Drage, Croatia
We are a British family of 5 (2 adults, 3 teenagers) who stayed at Villa Drage 12th-26th July 2014, where we had an amazing, relaxing stay. The location is stunning, with the view from the garden out across the bay towards Split and the dramatic islands and mountains surrounding the water. Likewise, the villa itself is beautiful: the living room/dining room area is very comfortable- open plan and airy with views out across the bay – and the bedrooms are all differently and individually decorated with more storage space than anyone could ever fill. The villa was also amazingly well equipped, particularly in the kitchen and outdoor kitchen unit which saved taking dishes back to the house when we’d eaten outside which we did virtually every day. The pool is big enough to swim lengths if that’s your thing, and has a jet at the end which provides a resistance current if you’re trying to get fit. The owners – Mladen and Ojdana – were extremely kind, giving us pastries, salads and meats on our first night (as well as a bottle of the olive oil they produce and a taste of the local liqueur) and always ready to answer any questions or solve any problems. We could not recommend this villa more highly for a relaxing, comfortable and stunning place to spend a holiday.

A Palace!
Before we left home, we nicknamed this villa "the palace" and we were not far wrong! We also jokingly wondered if the dog in the photographs came with the villa. It did - at least for some of the week!
Villa Drage is amazing. It is the most luxurious, spacious and best equipped villa we have ever stayed in. As a family of four, we didn't need all of the space, but we appreciated it. Mladen and Ojdana, the owners, were charming, welcoming and helpful. They provided food and wine upon our arrival and invited us to help ourselves to the salad leaves from their vegetable garden - which we gratefully did throughout our stay.
The views from the villa are just spectacular and the light is constantly changing. It is a great place to use as a base for exploring the local area or just to relax in. You really do need a car as there is nothing nearby, but Trogir (which has supermarkets and a market) is about a 10 minute drive away and Split can be reached in about half an hour. We spent a lovely day at the Krka National Park too, which was about 45 minutes' drive. The rest of the time we were content to relax at this beautiful villa, swim in the pool and make use of the outdoor kitchen, which has to be seen to be believed!
Mladen and Odjana live on site for some of the time so there is not always total privacy but they are very discreet and it does mean that they are on hand if any problems arise. We had a fabulous week here and can't recommend it highly enough. It would also be perfect for several couples or for a couple of families sharing as there is plenty of space for everyone.

We have had a wonderful vacation in this beautiful villa. It is spacious, nicely decorated and very functional. The terrasse and swimming pool make you want to spend the day just enjoying the beautiful view over the sea while swimming or reading a book... It was also very enjoyable to come back from the many visits and activities not to be missed in the region and jump in the pool or relax in the air conditioned villa. The owners are extremely nice and caring. They welcomed us very nicely and made sure everything worked out well. In summary, a great place for both families and groups of friends...
