About this apartment rental
New studio tucked in the forest at Casa Balbi. Offers a wonderful location on the property, views of the stream and the forest from the terraza. Equipped with a QUEEN size bed, kitchenette, hot water bathroom, cozy atmosphere. Our location is fantastic as we are next door to a protected area Eco - Paz, trails and recreational facilities are offered. We are nearby the Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve, Selvatura Adventure Park, all of the local tours will pick up at the house.

Room was great and the patio with the river outside was gorgeous. We loved this place! Only complaint was, due to poor construction, there were A LOT of bugs getting into the room. Also, the hot water comes from a kettle so in order for the water to be warm, you have to use very low pressure. Great overall!

The grounds were beautiful, the host friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Monteverde.

Very close to everything in Monteverde, Oscar was incredibly helpful in making sure my stay in Monteverde would be a pleasant one and was quick to respond via WhatsApp, and the hammocks were very peaceful (both the private one and the ones in the manicured gardens of the common space where the hummingbird fight each other, and the resident cats and dogs lounge about). The hot shower worked great via an electric water heater that's attached directly to the shower head. No hot water other than that though (you could boil it with the electric water heater though). Kitchen had all the basics you might need, and the supermarket is close by. The bed was very comfy, and there were only a few beetles that made their way into the place while I was there.You could walk to the town center from the place in about 20 minutes if you choose, but the roads are narrow so as a pedestrian you're constantly having to watch for cars coming around the bend, so I'm glad I decided to take a car.
