Staff was great and very helpful. Place was specific and beautiful. The only reason to hold back on the 5 star rating is the Ants. Due to rain forest the place have some (harmless) ant visitors inside the property otherwise amazing place.

Amazing place and extremely good value. As others have mentioned, Fred and the front team at Hotel Mar/Don Taco where you check in are really nice and helpful, they take you around to the secluded house that is owned by the brother of the hotel owner. You can park on site for free and it’s safe. 400m down to town where nice restaurants are available. Close by shops also for everything you need. Bit of a climb back up hill but it’s good for the health. Highly recommend using this place for a couple of nights stay or more. Enjoy!!
