Good

Has a full kitchen if you want to cook any meals at home!

Could use some more furniture/ a couch in the “living area” to lounge on if you want to watch TV.

Very good value for the location. Super nice host !

Great location and very accessible to everything in Monteverde . The property was very clean and had quite comfortable bed , which is so important after your day out . The casa has interesting architectural features.

There was a little problems with warm water , which was quickly corrected by our host . There is really no good Wi-Fi . Most of the time we used the Wi-Fi at the local restaurants or cafes

Blissful mid centruy inspired cuteness that I didn't want to leave

Oh my gosh this place was perfect :) Absolutely loved it. The gorgeous wooden interior and the lovely greenery outside of all of the windows was so beautiful. A nice combo of mid century meets mondrian. I could happily live here :) Great position for exploring Monteverde and Santa Elena. Amazing host who was so, so helpful!

everything was amazing, altho sadly the hammock no longer exists as the tree fell down! No breakfast included however there is a restaurant next door in the B&B for anything required super early morning - otherwise The Open Kitchen a few mins walk down the road was superb (or you have your own kitchen!).

Casa Higueron is beautiful an excellent place to stay at Monte Verde. Near from the downtown and excellent prices.

Wifi was great and bed was comfortable. The location was also good with a lot of restaurants and the cloudforest nearby.

The interior is outdated. There were a lot of small ants in the kitchen. No blinds in the bedroom.

Nice place good facilities.

Great to have a self contained place with cooking facilities away from the main town but close to walk.

It didn’t have daily housekeeping which is vital when self catering to clear bins etc due to wildlife. Also it’s really windy and at night it sounded like we were sleeping next to a roaring ocean. Lots of Windows without curtains so it’s very light at 6am not a problem for us but worth bearing in mind if it would bother you.

Good Value for Money

The staff was great. Ed at the reception was very informed and gave a lot of tips about the zone and answered all of our questions at all time. The house is amazing for a couple trip.

The only thing I would change is the curtains in the room, they are transparent so let the light in early in the morning. The rest excellent

A very nicely done room with a very comfy bed and working kitchen.

The entire room was nicely laid out and furnished. The wifi was a little slow and hot water in the shower was not too reliable, but these were minor issues. It was fine lodging, clean, functional, and did it's job. Parking was also available.

Faster wifi, more hot water availability in the shower. A place to hang wet clothes outside on patio.
