Fantastic apartment, amenities, comfortable, great location and we were especially happy with the washer and dryer. (very convenient mid holiday). Contact with host and check in process was good. There is also a beautiful garden full of hummingbirds. Would highly recommend to stay here!
There is no way to make the room dark, would have preferred a blind for the bedroom. However, it’s not a big issue as for most activities in the area you will have to wake up early :)
More as an FYI: you have to drive down a very steep hill to the parking. This can be a bit challenging as you need to drive backwards if there is already a second car parked. Braking was also challenging as the car almost slides down.

It’s amazing what Jerome has built in such a remote location. Indeed a Scandi lodge on a mountain in Costa Rica! Their guide for the area is super useful as well! Be sure to book with Cristian their recommended wildlife guide!
