About this villa rental
Likya Evi, situated on the Kalmar side of Kalkan – enjoys a spectacular position, with truly stunning views. As you look across the bay to Kalkan you’ll see the bluest of blues from the pool, to the sea, to the sky. There are fabulous views over the olive groves of Kalamar to the sea and across the bay to Kişla. By day the panoramic sea view with little islands dotted off the coast has that glorious summer heat haze and by night the mesmerising shining water looks just like a mirror reflecting the stars above. As well as stunning sea views Likya Evi is just a short walk to the centre of Kalkan with its’ huge choice of restaurants and shops; from the town harbour boats run to the beach clubs around the bay or in the area there is the Kalamar Beach Club.
Likya Evi is a lovely light and bright house with a contemporary yet comfortable interior. The exquisite Ottoman style “objet”, colourful Iznik tiles and rich fabrics just serve to remind you that you are in Oriental Turkey.
It really is paramount that your holiday villa has a magnificent view and at Likya Evi you will never tire of it, large glass doors looking out onto the pool terrace flood the entire villa not only with light, but also with that magnificent view.
This is a property well suited to those with older children who enjoy some independence as they can easily walk to and from the town centre

A lovely villa, just a short walk to town. Views are amazing, particularly from the terrace, living areas and master bedroom. Although small, the plunge type pool was great for refreshing and 2.7m deep. The pool area had lots of loungers and a nice shaded dining table. Pool towels were provided, including three which were provided as a gift to take home. Mattresses were a bit hard for our liking. Kitchen was very well equipped and was great to have both a washing machine and separate dryer. There is also a safe in the master bedroom for valuables. Check in was easy and Ridvan was always just a message away if we needed anything. Internet and tv weren't working on arrival and, although they were dealt within a day, maybe something that should have been checked prior to guests arriving. Kalkan is a really nice and friendly place to holiday. The rooftop restaurants are lovely, albeit quite expensive. There are some less expensive options for those on a tight budget, but Kalkan generally quite an expensive place to stay. The Turkish people are amazingly friendly and helpful everywhere.

This is a wonderful villa in a great location. It's a 7 minute walk to the marina although is very hilly. The villa is clean and airy and the pool pleasantly warm. Kalkan offers much and the roof top restaurants and bars are delightful. Rudi (resort manager) was always on hand and very helpful. This was our first visit to Turkey and will not be our last. I can't recomend this villa enough.

Fantastic house. As per some of the other reviews the pictures don’t actually do it justice. The pool is quite small but perfectly adequate and the house have unrestricted views of the bay means it has a breeze (which many don’t) and it’s a lovely place to sit at night. The stroll into town takes about 5 minutes.Would highly recommend.
