Jack's 2 is a recently renovated 100 year old house located in a quiet residential street which enjoys a view of the valley, town & St Jo's church spire. Easy walking distance to the Main Street shops & restaurants and for extra convenience the Riesling trail is at the end of the street. Light, airy & spacious, character laden including original hard wood floors with contemporary kitchen & decor for easy living. Welcome pack with complimentary continental breakfast provisions. Perfect for singles, couples or families, two bedrooms offer King beds & TV, the third small room has a single day bed, also a single fold out bed in the living room. Open plan living, dine & kitchen with direct access to the deck & outdoor living. Adjacent is the BBQ pit & garden.

Delightful property in a great location with wonderful outdoor area. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Particularly enjoyed the proximity to the Riesling trail, great for early morning jogging and walking.
Very comfortable for four, but tricky with 5 adults as the third bedroom is accessed through one of the other bedrooms.
Clare is very hot in January and only one bedroom ( and the living room/ kitchen) had an air conditioner so the other bedrooms were a little warm in the evenings, but I think outside mid summer this would not be a problem.

Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Excellent accommodation and location, within walking distance to the local shopping area, the Riesling trial was at the end of the street, the fur baby enjoyed running around in the garden and was secured within the fences.
Continental breakfast was amazing.

Very comfortable, well presented property in a quiet street close to the Riesling Trail, shops, pub, supermarkets. The deck is wonderful for an evening bbq. Great stay, thanks Sue

Beautifully presented comfortable home . Close to Main Street . Excellent place for 4 adults to share for a weekend getaway . Lovely extras like breakfast provisions was appreciated.

Family went to Clare for Mothers Day and had a fantastic time staying at Jacks 2.
Kids had a great time exploring the garden and Sue even had toys out in the yard ready to go. The kids loved it.
Beds were super comfy and the bacon and egg breakfast spread was superb and perfect for a Mothers Day breakfast.

Great Family Stay
Family went to Clare for Mothers Day and had a fantastic time staying at Jacks 2.
Kids had a great time exploring the garden and Sue even had toys out in the yard ready to go. The kids loved it.
Beds were super comfy and the bacon and egg breakfast spread was superb and perfect for a Mothers Day breakfast.
We’ll be back !

Jacks House 2 was beautifully appointed, the beds were really comfortable and we loved the location with great Clare restaurants, pubs and coffee spots all within walking distance. We e-biked Clare to Auburn and loved the hot shower at the end of the day. Thank you Sue for the yummy breakfast too - provisions provided were really generous! We will definitely come visit again. Wonderful vibe, comfy beds, hot showers, comfy couch etc. Backyard space was fantastic as well. Great places to stay with friends, family, children and pets.
Only small negative was we couldn't work out the dishwasher (had to be turned on underneath the sink) during our stay. On arrival there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher from previous guests and frozen food in the freezer. The third bedroom was also very musty and smelt like mildew.
We have stayed at both Jack's House properties now and have really enjoyed our time at both.

Lovely cottage walking distance to Clare main street
Lovely updated cottage with lots of charm, easy walking distance to Clare main street for a coffee or dinner. Beautiful under cover patio just right for kicking back with a book and chilling. Great enclosed yard with a lawn for our old dog to explore. And only a short drive to the local golf course. Of course there are heaps of cellar doors within a few minutes drive to explore, some great winery restaurants and impressive art galleries (the best one is 3 doors down the road!). Had an enjoyable stay and really loved the king sized beds. Great breakfast provisions too. Highly recommend.

Near the town
Near all facilities, had all the condiments and breakfast needs imaginable plus washing, linen to name just a couple the beds were divine soft and easy to sleep without interruption. Plenty of room to move for 4 people shower fabulous easy to walk to town and a lovely outside area to have a drink and enjoy with a private screen. Great laundry and the shower with real water ie plenty of !!!,

Could not have been a better stay in Clare
There are so many great things to say about this adorable house in Clare. Communication with Sue from booking to check in was easy and quick. The house is so well stocked with thoughtful and useful items, from treats to breakfast, wine glasses to really comfortable bedding (and beds!) - we loved it all.
We made use of the pretty outdoor spaces, and even when it was pouring rain it was pleasant to be able to spend time on the covered deck. The house is perfectly located for access to Woolworth's and the little downtown area as well as the Riesling Trail which is an easy walk the other direction.
Great stay, highly recommend Sue and this lovely space if you're visitng Clare.

Most relaxing time in months.
From the time we walked into the property we felt at home. I loved that we had breakfast organised for both days so that we didn't need to organise this straight away. The house is a great getaway and would love to visit again in Summer.

Two day stopover
We stayed here for a long needed rest after a long 5 days driving, house was spotless and had everything you could need. Really appreciated the little extras bacon, eggs, juice etc would highly recommend.

Jacks 2 in Clare
My cousins and I had a wonderful time at Jacks 2 house in Clare. It was and had everything Sue mentioned. We were warm and cosy on the cold winter long weekend, but hardly noticed it once inside. Sadly we couldn't make use of the beautiful seating outside due to the cold weather. The house was perfect for the 3 nights we stayed. Thanks so much Sue. We'd like to stay again some day.

Home away from home in a great location
My family and I loved every minute at the cottage. The location was great for a wander around town or a quick trip to the shops.

Welcoming Winter Wonder
Jack's House 2, is really cozy and has great attention to detail. Every room was extremely welcoming and well thought out. We were in Clare for a wedding and although the weather wasn't great (it was Winter after all!) it was easy to see that this would be a great place for a family to stay, especially in the warmer months. Sue was extremely helpful and responded within minutes of any question/message. It's only a short walk from the main street and we'd definitely recommend it. Cheers

Perfect stay for a girls weekend
I visited recently with two girlfriends and we had a wonderful stay. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived and began to unwind and relax immediately.
The house is beautifully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. The heating worked a treat on a chilly Clare weekend. Breakfast supplies were more than adequate.
The location of the property was perfect. We walked in to Clare for dinner and had easy access to the Riesling Trail for a day out on the bikes exploring wineries.

Thoughtful Owner
Sue put so much time into the little details and that meant a lot to us. A beautiful message of welcome when we arrived, the heater was on ( it was freezing! ) bathrobes for us all (husband had forgotten his!) and umbrellas which we used as it unexpectantly rained. Beautiful house that was really appreciated.
