The stunning first floor flat is decorated to a high standard with a great mix of old and new...with designers guild sofa, rugs and bedding mixed with antique gilt chest of draws, and mirrors. The beautiful high sash floor to ceiling windows, making it bright and airy. The private balcony sweeps around flat with palms and ferns, table and chairs for dinning. The flat is ideally located to amazing local restaurants, easy walk to Buckingham Palace, and big Ben, as well as theatres. Everything on your doorstep.

We had a really lovely stay in Karen's studio. We wanted an apartment within walking distance to Chelsea Flower Show which was the main purpose of our visit to London and this suited us perfectly as it was only a 20 minute walk. Karen was a great host and communication was excellent from our initial enquiry until we left the property. It was an easy 15 min walk from Victoria Train Station to the studio (we are seniors so you might be quicker!!). Beatriz was outside watching for us coming and kindly helped us up the stairs with our cases. The apartment with its many windows and high ceilings was just as described. The Murphy bed was extremely comfortable and so easy to put up and down. It was lovely to find all the essentials one needs for self catering already in situ i.e. fairy liquid, soaps, salt, pepper, loo roll etc and also good quality saucepans and tableware (nothing worse than burning the porridge in a rubbish saucepan lol!) Getting in and out of the small bath was a little awkward but really a minor issue for us. We had a great time exploring London and made our way around on the buses and trains without losing ourselves too often!!! Thank you Karen for all your attention. We can truly recommend you as a host and your lovely studio.

This was our third stay at Karen’s flat. Best feature of this compact studio is the wall of windows that make it bright and cheery with plenty of fresh air. Kitchen well equipped.Perhaps the bath needs a bit of a rethink as the tub/shower requires some dexterity and a second grab bar would be helpful. Also it might be time to replace the carpet.All in all, we do plan to return.

The Pimlico area is a great choice for staying in London. A lovely quiet residential area with several good restaurants and pubs. A 6 minute walk to the victoria coach station which is an easy and inexpensive way to get from Heathrow to the apartment. The Bus stop which runs to Westminster, the west end, chinatown and the british museum is a 6 minute walk. The underground station maybe a 10 minute walk.
Two concerns. First it is not apparent from the listing that the king bed is actually a fold down Murphey bed. The second is the shower which could be a little challenging for anyone with mobility or balance problems.
Overall we enjoyed our visit
