Located in Lake Gaston, this attractive house for $250 per night is a great option for your next break. Welcome to Songbird Haven located on Songbird Creek, a large, quiet cove right off the Main Lake. This home offers gorgeous views, multiple outdoor seating areas , fire pit, large dock with shaded and non-shaded areas. Help yourself to the many floats and water toys in the boat house including a paddle board, kayak, canoe, children's skis, small wake-board and fishing poles. The house has an upstairs and downstairs living area, each with their own Smart TV’s. Five minutes from the Food Lion and a quick boat ride to the restaurants and marinas. Please be aware that there is an incline between the dock and the house, so may not be suitable for those with heart issues or unable to climb stairs. Outdoor areas include a deck off the kitchen, patio off the downstairs living area with charcoal grill, and an extra large dock. Don't miss the refrigerator in the boat house to store your drinks and food to enjoy while you are on the dock. Free wi-fi. House-trained pets are also welcome with a $100 pet fee. No cats due to allergies, please.

Stayed here for a weekend with family. We knew nothing about this general area, but we were so happy with everything about the home. The comfort, the layout, the views. I have rarely been at a rental home where everyone was comfortable inside and we all said we can easily do another week here straight through. I would recommend this home for someone wanting a great layout, and a very serene location. If you are unfamiliar with the area, i would also suggest trying to arrive during daylight which we barely made but it was really easy- just unfamiliar. The only time i would not recommend this area is if you want to stay in a bustling location with many food and shopping options. We will likely be have.

The house was clean and comfortable. All the kitchen cabinets were labeled so everything was very easy to find. My favorite part was the warm clean water and the paddle boards. This is an exceptional rental!!

Wonderful layout for multiple family vacation. The kitchen layout was fantastic and well stocked and the large table accommodated our family game nights. The dock was large and the fridge was a game changer. We were able stock it to make going up and down less of a hassle. The views were incredible and the sunsets unbeatable. Would definitely come back. Thanks for having our family. We really enjoyed our time at your home

We loved our time at the lake. The house was clean and well appointed and had a great layout for our group. We spent a lot of time in the water and at the boat house dock. It has the right amount of sun and shade and a refrigerator for drinks and snacks. We hope to come back sometime soon!

If you forgot to bring it the house had it on hand. It was so well stocked with everything you could need and the rooms were furnished beautifully. We loved the dock and the grandkids had a blast with the toys provided by the owner.

My husband and I rented the property for our wedding celebration. It is beautiful, relaxing, and we had a great time. The house is nice with plenty of space, and the lake is beautiful. The house was a bit dusty, and the tap water was murky. Overall the house was clean, and it was exactly what we envisioned for our trip and celebration. The owner was amazing!! She answered every time I called and answered my questions. If you are looking for a relaxing, quiet, peaceful get away, this is the place to go!

Fabulous place!

This was our second time to Lake Gaston. And we truly enjoyed our time on the lake. The house was perfect for our family, and the kitchen was well stocked with spices and cooking utensils (grilling too). There was even things left behind from previous guests that were a nice surprise (dish soap/laundry detergent, paper towels. etc.) Loved the boat house and the fun lake toys to play with. Plenty of board games for a rainy day too! The owner was very responsive when needed, and even reached out to me on our way down to NC. Would definitely recommend this house!

Thanks for sharing your nice home. Beautiful views of the lake from the many windows facing the lake. House was very well equipped. Very nice dock and extras to use as well. We only used the kayak once but found it to be very fun and nice. Plenty of room for our 26 ft boat and two PWCs. Sure wish we could have stayed longer.

This house is way better than advertised—and it's advertised well, so that is saying a lot! My family had an amazing time here a recent weekend, and the hosts were exceptional. There's plenty of room for 8 people, and the outdoor area was our favorite by far. I'm hoping to come here again in the summer. Thanks for being such a special place!

This home was just perfect!. The views were outstanding and the pier was the best we have ever enjoyed at the lake. It was fun cooking the meals while enjoying the wonderful lake view!! There were lots of water toys for the adults as well as the kids The owners were always available if we had any questions--they were great to work with. An added bonus was the Food Lion was 5 minutes away! From inside to outside the Songbird Haven was a WINNER!!!

Summer vacation 2018 at Lake Gaston

Everything went well save for some glitches in the streaming tv service. It would cut out every once in a while for no reason. Just the DirecTV Now service. The other services worked fine like Netflix and Amazon. We had a lot of fun and it was handy to have the boathouse empty to be able to lift our boat out of the water each day. Makes life easy. Plenty of cooking implements. Nice deep water at the boathouse for swimming.
