Sehr freundliches Personal, feines Essen sowohl zum Frühstück wie auch zum Abendessen. Lage sehr zentral und eine schöne Terrasse mit Blick ins Grüne.

The rooms and other hotel facilities are truly five star, in particular the lobby area, the garden outside the restaurant and the spa. We were awaited with a welcome drink and were given good recommendations of what to do in the area. Probably, the restaurant is good as well, but we met a very bad day (see below).
There does not seem to exist a hotel director who is in charge of everything, rather a restaurant manager and a reception manager. Our visit of the restaurant was no nice experience. We ordered a bottle of wine to come with the starters, but the starters came without the wine. Half way through the starters, we were told they could not find the bottle. We were offered „something very similar“, what was indeed not comparable. Having finished the starters meanwhile, we switched to two glasses, and did not receive what we had ordered. When the main courses came, the side dishes of one plate were missing, the sauce of the other plate had a thick skin. When we paid, the bottle which could not be found, was on the bill. Probably just a bad day, but so it was.
Bad experience also with the hotel bill. It included the room rent. I had overlooked that I had already paid though booking.com and settled the hotel bill. Upon contacting the hotel a day later, I learned that the hotel‘s accounting system had not properly booked the payment through booking.com. Repayment of the double payment lasted about two weeks.
Resuming, the hotel is great, but the service needs improvement.
