The house was just what we needed for our stay. Short walk to the beach. there were plenty things to do in Duck and Corolla. We would highly recommend this property.

You supplied everything that was needed during our stay at your house.The Walmart wasn’t that far away so if we needed to get anything we didn’t have to drive very far .Your neighbor Dave was very nice to us too. Pool area needed attention. House was very clean and well appointed. Did not like having to bring all linens

Exceeded all our holiday expectations. Plenty of room for all. Everyone said the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The spot was perfect. Short walk to the beach. Smaller kids loved the pool. Trees and shade were a big plus. Sunrise on the beach was spectacular.

This was my first time using VRBO and everything about the weekend was amazing! The house is very clean, comfortable and well stocked. The basket of beach/pool towels was so convenient! The beds were very comfortable and the layout worked well for our group. The beach is a short walk down a quiet street. Gary was very prompt in answering my questions. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this home to others.

Gary is great, communication was fast and friendly. The house has tons of space, well stocked kitchen, and plenty of beach supplies. Quiet neighborhood and easy walk to the beach. We would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed at Good Tides w/ three families and had a wonderful time. The house was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. We loved the pool, hot tub, outdoor shower, and short walk to the beach. Gary was a great host!

Good Tides was perfect for our three families to each have our own space and also plenty of room to all hang out and be together! After a few days of rain the bugs around the property increased and Gary quickly responded by having a pest team out to take care of the issue. We had a full two weeks to enjoy the pool, hot tub and short walk to the beach. We would recommend Good Tides to anyone who wants to enjoy a realxing vacation in Duck!

We wouldn't stay this far north again. Dinner wait times at restaurants was horrendous! The house was great, though. Be prepared for a gravelly walk to the ocean!

Our family consisted of 6 adults, 4 children (ages 2, 4, 5 and 8) and we traveled from Maryland and Virginia. If you are traveling from this area, leave early on Saturday - 6:00 am at the latest! Our daughter and her family left Maryland at 6:00 and after 3 stops arrived around 2:00PM!! Going home was no better - we all left around 8:00am to return home and traffic was terrible - especially I95! Enough of the bad! Now for the good - Once we arrived, our vacation was great! The owners supplied many items that allowed us more room to pack. There were lots of beach toys; 7 nice beach chairs; at least 12 nice big beach towels; a beach cart and a beach wagon; a beach umbrella. Starter items - TP, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, laundry detergent and softener sheets. This unit had one of the best stocked kitchens we have ever had in a rental house = pots and pans, dishes, glasses, silverware, 2 coffee makers, blender, 4 slice toaster, plastic cups for kids, etc. A second refrigerator on the lower level was great for storing extra drinks and frozen treats. The Pool and hot tub were an added bonus! Outside shower was great. The beach was nice and not crowded. However, watch the tide schedule because at high tide much of the beach disappears - so head back to the pool!! The walk to the beach is not long - about 5 minutes on a gravel road. However with younger children and an adult with a bad knee, we opted to rent a golf cart. Much easier to transport people and stuff!! The unit was clean and in good repair. Our only issue was that the main refrigerator's ice maker was very slow and so was the water dispenser. There is parking for 6 cars - 3 under cover and 3 in the drive. Gary, the owner, was very responsive to our questions both before and after we decided to rent.

We had a fantastic stay here. The house is very clean; and Gary does a wonderful job keeping it up to date. There was plenty of space for our group, with a bathroom for each family. It was an easy walk to the beach, about 0.3 miles. The beach cart was a huge help. We had three 5-year olds and a 7-year old and the weather was in the mid 70s during our stay. If it was any hotter, or if the kids were younger, I would recommend getting a golf cart.

We were three families all with young children, and this house was very comfortable and child friendly for us. There is a baby gate and booster seat, amd many toys and games for playing indoors and outdoor toys too. The beach gear was very helpful to have, too, the cart, wagon, beach chairs, beach towels and of course sand toys! The walk to the beach took 5 minutes as described even with our slow little kids and it is on a private, dirt road so it was nice for walking on and for the kids to ride their bikes. Being April we couldn’t use the pool but the hot tub was fun to have for kids and adults. The layout if the house was great with 5 bedrooms each with a full bath (one bath is shared between two of the rooms) and two half baths in the shared spaces. There is plenty if space for hanging out and TVs as well. Everything worked great and we all really enjoyed our stay. The host was very responsive and understanding.

We loved everything about this property. The owner was super responsive, the house was exactly as advertised, it was immaculate, well equipped, great neighborhood, great location! We will be back!

Very large and clean house just a short walk to the beach. Comfortably housed 10 of us, and could easily fit a few more people. The pool and hot tub were great, and there were plenty of extra cleaning and beach supplies on hand for us to use. Gary was a great host and was very flexible when our travel plans changed. Would definitely return and recommend to others!

We all had a great time...Gary was great to work with...The house has pretty much anything you need....Extra beach towels were a great bonus...Hopefully we can make it down again.
