The Wave Den is a quaint 4-bedroom recently renovated cottage tucked away in a private cul-de-sac surrounded by live oaks in the charming Sound and Sea Village of Duck. With only a 5-minute walk (1,000 ft) to one of the best (and most dog friendly) beaches in the Outer Banks, you will be sure to make lots of great memories. There is ample outdoor space to savor the warm sunlight and cool ocean breezes during the spring, summer and fall months. And, if it gets too warm there is a shady area under the house for the kids to play and the family to gather around the grill to dine al fresco. The screened-in porch is the perfect place to quietly enjoy a cup of coffee every morning or sip a glass of wine in the evening. The Sound (beautiful sunsets) is only a short walk away. The nearby bike/walking path are great for exercising, walking the dog, or biking into the town of Duck. It’s the ideal ocean-side retreat to refresh and unwind.

Great location, two minute walk to the beach, very close to town. The cottage is on quiet street. We had deer visit the front yard several times a day. We really enjoyed are stay and would definitely comeback for future visits. Taylor was very responsive during the entire process.

Pleasant house and comfortable. Easy walk to the beach and convenient to the walk/bike trail down into town. Host was very responsive and easy to work with.
