The hotel was gorgeous. The rooms are bright and tastefully furnished. The area with the old trees is simply wonderful. The staff pleasant and accommodating. This is a hotel to come back to. We wish Marius and Stephen all the best!

We regret that we only stayed one night. But our Wales tour continues.

Visit South Wales for work quite a bit and this is the nicest hotel I have come across. Steve very efficient which allows for a no hassle stay and gives confidence in your stay. Marius friendly and rooms great and whole place clean

Full English was to a good standard and ample, the buffet continental was however a little sparse.

A better standard of fruit, the pear were going bad, a reasonable selection of cold meats, yoghurt and fresh fruit to be made available.

Breakfast Sausages were not the same quality compared to the rest of the ingredients. No tissues and no water in room ( in room without en-suite.) Lack of complimentary’s in bathroom but overall a good stay.

Lovely property, very comfortable bed, Marius was very keen to ensure visitors expectations were met.

Shower drain was slow in my room, needing shower to be turned off between shampoo rinsing otherwise it would overflow the shower tray!

Everything! There is nothing not to like about this place. Between the hotel itself and the staff, it was a perfectly beautiful experience. Marius, the chef, was not only a spectacular cook but also a warm, kind and lovely man. Nothing was too much trouble, anything myself and my wife wanted to eat he would cook. The room was spotless and gorgeously decorated. The atmosphere throughout the whole building is warm, relaxed, friendly and like a home from home. We absolutely loved this hotel and will 100% be visiting again in the near future!

There was nothing not to like here, it was perfect.

The apartment was a good size. It was in a great location for what we were doing.

Ok, where do I start. The apartment, unfortunately, was missing things that could have made it a great stay. 1) There was a bad damp smell. 2) Lack of kitchen roll. 3) Fridge was unpunged with small milk on it. 4) There is no shower, only a bath. 5) The only mirror is the small one in the bathroom. 6) No sponge to wash the bath. 7) Bedroom could have benefit from a TV. 8) Big clock in the living room not working 9) Hot tap was loose 10) Some of the lights were not working. While all the above may seem small. It is what would have made it a 10. This is a great space for home away from home. Also, the fact that we were not informed of the £150 security deposit until after confirming the booking, you would think all the above would have been sorted.

We had a lovely warm Welcome from the moment we walked through the door, both members of staff we met were very friendly, polite and helpful. Our room was very clean , spacious and offered everything we needed. Breakfast was the best !

water wasn’t hot enough to bath, and shower was unpredictable with temperature. felt it wasn’t particularly good value for money for what we paid we have stayed a nicer places that included breakfast for same price. No lounge to relax in there was a small bar area but not appropriate for just to sit and relax without drinking from the bar. No information available regarding what is available to do in the area.

Maurius the chef could not have been more helpful or obliging. His food was wonderful and he really went out of his way to look after me and make me feel so welcome. The hotel is spotless and very comfortable. The location is very quiet and peaceful.

Great hotel in an ideal location for my visit. Staff were really friendly and couldn't have done any more to help. I would highly recommend. Also, check out the meals here. Marius the chef is outstanding.
