My love. My Rhodes.

We Traveled as a family. It was a very lovely accomodations for us with a balkony on a tree and partially to North-East, which never gave us direct sunshine. Small kitchen was a good bonus for us. Swimming pool is a quiet place there for all people of all ages. The Location of a hotel perfect one to all facilities available in Rhodes: coffee, tank stations, buss station, airport, shops. The sea itself is 12 mins walk. The sea on that side is much windy and with rock coast. But its possible to swim. Also, beach has organized resortion area with possibility to rent a bad (€4), get some drink or meal. Even a wind surfing club is there. Each evening these guys give a nice presentation of their skills for tourists. :) The hotel is a perfect place to start a journey around an island. We took "Rhodes Cars" as they proposed a best safety for us. Rhodes presents an interesting atmosfeer with its nature, old castles and local people. Many thanks to receptionist: a young Lady and gentleman. They where always positive and welcome. :)

There is nothing to mention in this section technically. Impossible not to mention a location of a hotel close to descending pass for airplanes. The noice is not big, but unusual for those, who never experienced it before. To be honest, we stopped reacting on it right on 2nd day... :)

All in all it was a nice stay. Thanks to reception staff who made it feel welcomed.

I liked the hotel staff the most - friendly, helpful and willing to solve any problem. The planes landing at Rhodes airport are definitely audible, but they didn't bother us. The rooms are cleaned daily, the food at breakfast is fresh and tasty. Staying for more than a few days can get boring because it is always the same. Street noise is not heard in the rooms at all, the sea is nearby, just 10 minutes on foot. Pool is amazing for kids when you don't want to go to the beach. Bus stop is right in front of the hotel and it takes 25-30min to go to Rhodes centre.

Cockroaches. They don't live in the tidy hotel, but they appear sometimes outside and can get inside through an open door. The helpful staff made sure they didn't end up in our room.

Cheap and cheerful.

Close to airport. Just used it as a place to sleep having arrived on a late flight. Breakfast at 8euros was good value.

Exceptional

The stuff is more like friendly and helpful . We extended one more day due to our flight, and they managed everything for us. Warm recommended this hotel specifically for family with kids.the swimming pools is a plus.

Very good

Staff was very helpful and considerate, remembered our request and provided the room we asked for. Good swimming pool, 24/7 reception, free parking and internet, nice kitchennette, terrace, garden. Good location, about 5 min drive from airport, good for late arrivals.

Airport noise, paid AC. Read description carefully, AC is extra. Landing aircraft are fun to watch, but noise can be annoying if you want to sleep with windows open.

I found the room size was good and the beds were comfortable. The staff were very helpful with local information and allowed me to keep my luggage there several hours after checkout.

Bathroom was a bit small with toilet seat nearly touching the shower area. Shower curtains didn't stop the whole bathroom getting wet (more like a wet room tbh). Location convenient for the airport but not so much for the main sightseeing parts of the island, although Rhodes town just a 30 min 3 euro bus ride away. Swimming pool was a bit buggy, but a good size.

The most unsafe and unclean hostile hostel situation in all my life

Nothing at all. There is no parking it’s on a busy main road the pictures are deceptive and the staff rude and bad English but very rude and aggressive felt unsafe left didn’t stay.

We went to check in and had a family member drive us there. Said they weren’t allowed to wait for us in lobby kicked them out before they even came in. The staff member demanded our boarding passes which we didn’t have British citizens yet he did an immigration inspection was rude bad English aggressive we left didn’t stay.

Some rooms are fantastic and some are from hell due to the heat and noise. The decision is on the mood of the front desk staff. I liked the room I moved into after long negotiations. I would prefer a stay with no bad surprises and honest description on website. I also liked that in the end the management was flexible and tried her best. I really enjoyed staying in the quiet room with a balcony near by the pool.

The location is literally on the motorway which experience of the noise, heat and view. The rooms facing the motorway should be upgraded with sound proof windows and sold with compulsory air conditioning. The other rooms are pleasant. Sadly, the difference is not clearly stated when you book.

Wouldn't do it again

Accessible location from the airport, just a bus ride away. Nice peaceful breakfast. Accommodated a very late check in.

Shower overflowed, the curtain in the shower is not nearly far enough away; it kept falling in and touching me during my shower. The entire room and facilities felt like a cheap motel. No outlets in the bedroom area save the one for the TV. I was uncomfortable my entire stay.

We got two big rooms, they clean and give fresh towels everyday. Clean swimming pool with part for kids. Big Garden .Quiet and nice hotel. For this price Perfect. Close to Rhodes and airport.

One of the worst experience at booking

We checked-in and didn’t liked the hotel at all. It was like a white cold corona hostipal with no charm. We agreed with the man at reception that we can‘t stay and the guy at check-in agreed to refund. But later on, the manager refused to refund. Hotel we don’t like st all and the staff+manager didn’t kept their words. Not a good experience. I recommend all to look other better places. We stayed at See Breeze in Stegna beach and it was terrific amazing. Loved the location, rooms and staff. Small places have a bigger heart then a large place like Maritime!

No flair. We booked apartment but no 4 plates, no pans, no same spoons….can’t complain much. We checked-in and left within 5 minutes. We were so shocked that we just wanted to run away and didn’t thought abt making any pictures.

Disappointing

Close to the airport! Friendly staff 🙃

We stayed one night to be closer to the airport, having a very morning flight. The hotel is very old, ugly, a terrible bath, a lot of garbage on the outside area (I understand that the costs to renovate are very high, but to clean it, does not cost so much ..) Could tourists be more civilized, do they throw their garbage at home on the window in the yard?

disaster! noisy! upon arrival you will learn about extra charges

there is very good bakery and pasties shop 3 mnin walk from the hotel.

we booked room with view; the view was busy road: 24h constant traffic. not possible to open the window. On top of that the hotel is located below the airplanes way to the Rodo’s airport, so it makes the room even more noisy. we booked room with AC: but upon arrival they informed us the AC is there, but it does not mean you can use it. It was necessary to pay 7 EUR per day. The same explanation applies to the view 😊 I’m very grateful that they did not charge us extra for the bathroom (very small), chairs, table, closet,….. 😊 we booked room for 3 people with small kitchen inside: all was prepared only for 2 people. we have to asked for additional items. No sponges or dishwashing cloths to wipe countertops, not detergent to do the dishes.

Exceptional hotel for the price!

Maritime Hotel is an exceptional hotel for the price! The staff went above and beyond to meet my needs. Scheduling taxi pickups, accommodating a nice rental car, pool side service, were just some of the wonderful things they did for us. Additionally, the hotel is in close proximity to cafes, the beach, grocery and ATM. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling solo or who want a relaxing holiday!

The hotel is situated close to the airport. There is considerable noise from planes touching down and taking off, but it did not take away from the beautiful view from the terrace and the accommodation itself.

Family run, swimming pool, delicious breakfast and friendly owner and staff!! The family rooms are extremely large and would have been an excellent home base for a longer stay!
