Hillbrook Inn & Spa

Main house and grounded were beautiful and breakfast was really nice.

Didn’t realize our room was in a house located about ten minutes off site from main house. Stairs were very loud and walls were very thin. Tip isn’t included in breakfast, didn’t receive beverages at check in, didn’t have smores or any privacy at the fire, was a further drive to Harper’s Ferry than advertised. Charles Town (the nearest town) didn’t have great dining options.

Quaint and quiet. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were all very lovely. I can see why it is popular for couples as a romantic retreat

The property is spilt into multiple buildings. I didn’t realise that the room we booked as in a farmhouse a few miles down the road not even on the same property as the spa or main building. The room we booked was for 3 adults, we paid an additional guest fee, but the 2nd bed in the room was not even set up on arrival and there were no sheets provided for the pull out couch. I did request some and was told the housekeeper would bring some. I think they got delivered to the wrong room as we never did get the sheets. We made it work but for the extra cost I was disappointed. There was also a loud screeching coming from the bathroom all night which we did report in the morning

The hotel was so charming and we loved the breakfast the following morning. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed seeing the turtles in the pond and deer throughout the grounds. Our room was in the main building and it made the stay very convenient.
