The home is a traditional cottage like the earliest settlers of Spanish Wells would have lived in except with modern amenities. The cottage is equipped with a balcony to enjoy the cool summer breezes and a glimpse of the ocean. There is a large private back yard for relaxing after a full day at the beach. The theme of the home is 'All things Nautical'. You will feel like you are a part of the Sea while enjoying a different ocean theme in each room. Life Is a beach in Spanish Wells and our promise to you is 'You will come as our guest and leave as our Family'. Family Friendly Island : Ever imagine stepping back in time where the hustle and bustle of life really does stop. Welcome to Spanish Wells. No worries is the mantra of the locals and it will soon become yours as well. No typical tourist hassles and the people you meet will become the best part of your memories. Walk or ride anywhere on the Island at any time day or night without any concerns at all. Leave the city life behind and escape. Anyone can rent you a house but it is always the people who make the biggest difference and It all starts with the Owners and your host who can't wait to make your stay an incredible memory. Sun, Sand and Surf : The white sandy beaches are unmatched anywhere in the world and every where is your own private beach. The water is crystal clear and more marine life than you can imagine which makes for fantastic snorkeling or diving. You can even learn the skill of spearfishing if you are up to the challenge or cast your fly for the world famous bone fish. If you just want to drink some fresh coconut milk and eat some awesome fresh fish right out of the ocean into your pot, you have found the right place. The sunrise and sunsets are unobstructed and a must see for every visitor. Transportation : Getting to the Island is a fun part of the total experience. Plane, Taxi, Water Taxi and Golf Cart all in one trip. The airport is North Eleuthera ( ELH) and flights arrive into North Eleuthera from Nassau or Miami and Ft Lauderdale. Once you arrive at the North Eleuthera airport you will travel by taxi to the Genes Bay dock. Here you will take a water Taxi across to Spanish Wells. Once you are on Spanish Wells, there will be someone there to escort you to Aunt Marjories Cottage where you will meet your Hosts Roy and Linda Pinder. The cost of transport is approx $25.00 for the Land Taxi and approx $6/person for the water Taxi. Then You will Enjoy Your Golf Cart that is included with your rent while you are on the Island.

We have been to Spanish Wells twice. The first time, we stayed right on the ocean and yes, it was lovely. This year, we stayed at Conched Out Island Cottage it was JUST AS LOVELY! In fact, we preferred it and plan to stay at Conched Out Island Cottage again next year! This is a nearly 100 year old, traditional Spanish Wells cottage and it's not perfect or shiny new, but that's what's so great about it! You feel like you are becoming part of the community staying here. We absolutely LOVED riding the bikes from the cottage all over town. We loved being able to walk to the Island Mart for a snack. We loved being able to walk to Budda's for karaoke night! Roy will take the kayak and paddle boards to the beach for you and leave them there. Then you just hop in your golf cart and head to the beach and kayak to your heart's content, which is exactly what we did. You can kayak out to Pier Rock and snorkel. Speaking of snorkeling, you can snorkel easily all along Russell Island. You just park your golf cart at the end of any public road on the north side of Russell Island and walk right into the water. The snorkeling is excellent! (Go at high tide.) Of course, the beach is the shining star of Spanish Wells and we feel we were able to experience more of the beach because we didn't stay on it. Every day, we'd pick a different section to hang out on. Again, you just drive your golf cart to the end of any public road, park it, and walk right on to the beach. Each day, we'd pick a different road to park at and get to experience a different part of the beach. The whole thing is glorious, but each section has it's own vibe and features. You do not miss anything about Spanish Wells by staying in town. You gain an immersive experience! Roy and Linda are outstanding hosts and are super friendly. They give hugs and fresh fruit from the trees in their yard! The cottage is well equipped and comfortable and the back yard is so lovely! We took many naps in the hammock and lounge chairs. We highly recommend Conched Out Island Cottage.

Relaxing is an understatement! SO PEACEFULL!! Our Host were excellent and the property is perfectly located. Walk to beach or walk to Buddha’s for food. Our favorite place to stay!

Linda and Roy are fantastic. They arranged our pick up from the airport all the way to the home. Make sure to reserve an outing on the boat with them- that was our favorite part of the trip! Spanish Wells is very small but super safe and friendly. If you’re looking for a laid back vacation with lots of beach time, this is your destination. I can’t imagine a better place to stay on the island. The home is comfortable and well stocked with everything you’ll need. Thank you Roy and Linda for an unforgettable trip to your lovely home and island!

Love this house! This is our second time staying at Joe and Linda's. This is the perfect cottage. Great location, and wonderful owners. Linda had a nice meal waiting for us - a crawfish casserole, beans and rice, slaw, and Johnny cakes and guava jam. I love the layout of the house. One bedroom downstairs, and two bedrooms upstairs, so plenty of privacy. Nice backyard, and there's a kayak and paddleboards, too, although we didn't take them out.
As Joe says, not goodbye, but see you next time!

We had the best time vacationing in Spanish Wells. The island itself is stunning and small - feels very private. We rarely ever saw other people at the beach. A perfect hideaway.
We (3 adults + 1 baby) spent an entire month living in the house owned by Roy and Linda. The were such amazing hosts!! They met us at the dock in the golf carts, showed us around the house, were ways available on Whatsapp, or often we'd just walk right over to their house a few steps away.
I highly recommend taking one of their boat excursions. They took us snorkeling, feeding the turtles, swimming with the pigs. It was one of the happiest days of our lives :)
We loved being so close to the water. The house comes with a kayak and paddle boards. We kayaked almost every day. Even kayaked to Eleuthera. We also appreciated the golf cart that Roy and Linda included with the rental. Entire island runs on golf carts. They are so fun to drive and the breeze when driving is so nice. We would grab ice cream from Papa's Scoops and drive to other end of the island to watch the sunset almost every night.
The house itself had everything we needed. Enough room. Lots of towels. Good internet connection. I had to work a few days and had no issues with zoom calls.
I highly highly recommend this rental. You cannot find better especially for this price. We will definitely be back.

Roy and Linda made everything easy! They took care of getting us from the airport in North Eleuthera to the front door of Conched Out. They were warm and welcoming. The house itself was super convenient to the beach and to any other place you wanted to be on the island. It was fully stocked and very comfortable. If we ever make it back to Spanish Wells, and I think we will, we will stay here again!

From the first messages with Dylan through the final drop off at the ferry, we had the BEST experience! Spanish Wells has a piece of our heart and we will return again. We were welcomed into the Pinder family as if we have known them our whole lives and we are so thankful. From arranging our transportation, to the warm welcoming, to the boat charter with Roy, the friendliness of literally everyone we encountered, and the ease of getting around in a golf cart...it was simply the best! There was nothing that we lacked and it was great to have a house to call our own for a week. We have two young children and they too loved every minute of their stay so I would highly encourage other families to visit too. Thank you so much to the Pinder family, we will see you again soon!

Home away from home in Paradise!
The house was clean, well maintained & stocked with everything we could possibly need. Beds, linens & towels impeccable. Roy & Linda were gracious hosts & provided local foods for us upon arrival; so appreciated after traveling. The neighborhood is peaceful & house just minutes from a beautiful beach. The back yard is beautifully landscaped with ample seating & a grill for cooking out. We can't wait to go back. Would recommend to anyone.

The prettiest beach on the island is only two blocks away. I highly recommend this cottage.

This being the 8th trip to Spanish Wells since 2016 for my little family of 3 was, by far, the MOST incredible!!Roy and Linda were FANTASTIC hosts...Upon arrival, there was a hot meal (stuffed lobster tails, twice baked potatoes, and green beans with bacon) waiting for us in the oven, along with lemon meringue pie!!ANYTHING we needed was at our disposal!Roy took us out to feed the turtles (for a fee, of course) - something we had never done before - AMAZING!!They made us a SPECTACULAR boiled fish breakfast one day.Our buggy got a flat and Roy was there within 5 minutes to change the tire!!The house itself is very clean, super well-stocked, and PLENTY roomy!!When we weren't out galivanting, we spent the majority of time on our front porch or the little upper deck.I, honestly, cannot say enough positive things about Conched Out Cottage and Roy and Linda Pinder.We LOVE everything about them and the house.I HIGHLY recommend staying here...Except for next Christmas, as we ALREADY have it booked!!!Gerald, Lari, and Chance Lett

Our Home Away From Home!! We can’t wait to go Back
My family and I just returned from
This amazing place we know call our second home. The owners of the home, Roy and Linda Pinder, are the most gracious, hospitable and loving couple we now consider family. This is our second time renting and This home has everything we could have possibly needed and then some. All we had to do was ask and it was provided. We were greeted with a basket full of fresh mango’s and the most amazing lobster salad made by Linda. We love having them next door and enjoyed our visits with them. Roy shares some of his best stories and we could sit and listen to him forever. The house comes with a golf cart, a kayak, couple paddle boards, bikes and anything you could need for the beach. The home is very comfortable. Each evening we would either sit on the shaded front porch or in the well accommodated back yard and talk about the amazing day we had exploring this beautiful Paradise of Spanish Wells.
There are so many great things to say about this place. You absolutely will not go wrong if you choose this beautiful home to stay in while you are there. WE WILL BE BACK!!! Also thanks to Dylan who was always available when we needed him!!!!!

Just What We Needed
My daughter and I actually booked a week on Gregory Town. After a couple of days we realized the place we were at was not what we expected, so I started looking for another rental that we could move to. I found Conched Out on Spanish Wells. I had been to Spanish Wells last year, and loved the island. Roy and Linda were so helpful with checking in - picking us up at the dock, Linda had homemade cookies, and they both just made us feel right at home. The pictures online of the house don't do it justice. It's roomy, clean, and so close to the beach. I stayed in the downstairs bedroom, and my daughter stayed in one of the upstairs bedrooms, and I literally had to go upstairs if I needed to speak to her - great privacy! I wish we had booked this house in the first place - washer and dryer, golf cart, plenty of space, kitchen has plenty of cookware, chairs and mats for the beach - I could go on and on! I love Conched Out!

Perfect family getaway
What an awesome place and a super helpful host family. My wife and I traveled with our two college-student kids. Plenty of room, great outside living, the cottage was packed with everything we could possibly need. Roy and Linda Pinder were incredibly helpful and made the logistics from the main island to Spanish Wells as easy as could be. Gorgeous uncrowded beaches, the coolest little town you can imagine. No hesitation at all to recommend Spanish Wells and this awesome rental cottage.

Amazing Hosts!
Roy and Linda were incredible hosts. We had a blast at Spanish Wells. Its a very quiet island so you have to know what you're getting into (we wanted this lifestyle over resorts and all inclusives etc)
The house is very cozy and has everything you need. I loved the hammocks outside and the fact that it has 2-3 different places to sit down and eat. Having a golf cart to go around and do our own exploring was huge.
Roy and Linda went ABOVE and beyond for us. They cooked meals (which they didn't have to), answered all of our questions, brought us gifts and more.

Perfect week
Roy and Linda were the perfect hosts. Their cute Bahamian house provided everything we needed for a relaxing and adventurous vacation. Roy was always around for anything we needed giving us tips about anything we asked. Roy even brought us a coconut cream pie from the church bazaar and Linda baked cookies for our son’s birthday. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Roy and Linda are wonderful hosts and the cottage is great. Everything you need for a laid back fun vacation. We went with our 3 kids and it was perfect. Kids upstairs and we were downstairs. The golf cart, kayak, hammock, grill... everything you need. 100% recommended!

Quaint little vacation house.
Had a great expierence from the moment that we arrived at the airport and our taxi ride and water ferry was already set up with Mr. Calvin and we were greeted at the docks with our golf cart. Pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the house and we had fresh lobster salad and a homemade key lime pie waiting on us in the refrigerator. WAY above and beyond hospitality, from start to finish of our spur of the moment trip to Spanish wells. House was clean and inviting and had everything you could possible need. Thanks so much for the little extras. We will definitely stay her again.

Great Place!!Super Great People!!
This was our first trip outside all-inclusive resorts and my wife and I were somewhat tentative on how things would work out. We absolutely loved Spanish Wells and the house that we stayed in. The beach is beautiful and was 30 seconds away from the house. Spanish Wells was extremely safe, weather was awesome....I could go on and on. However, what really made our trip truly special was Roy & Linda. Very genuine, very good people who took us into their home for meals and allow us to stay in their home on our last night. I absolutely cannot say enough about how wonderful these people are and they will do whatever they can to ensure your stay is awesome. Roy and Linda will always be our first point of contact when we return to Spanish Wells. We truly came to Spanish Wells as visitors but left as friends. Sounds corny but that is how they make you feel.

Best Trip Yet!
This makes our 3rd trip to Spanish Wells, and by far the best one yet. We normally stay a week. The friendships we made are priceless. Roy and Linda are the epitome of hospitality. The cottage was just enough for our family of 3 but would definitely accommodate 4 comfortably. They took us out on they’re boat for a half day excursion, and it was fabulous. We missed swimming with the dolphins but we’ll catch them next year! Linda is the best cook. The dinner she provided for our first night was to die for. And as for Roy, well you will never meet a nicer person. His personality and conversations will keep you laughing.
