Nice property and very good professional staff. Lady at the reception very well greeted us, informed us about each and every thing.
It is located a little far from the main market but if you are ok with walking for couple of kms, you should still be fine.

I recently stayed at Woodnote Thekkady and overall had a pleasant and relaxing experience. The resort is located in a serene part of Thekkady, close to nature and ideal for a peaceful getaway. The ambiance of the property is calm and welcoming, and the staff were courteous and helpful throughout our stay.
The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with all the basic comforts needed for a comfortable stay. Housekeeping was prompt and ensured we had everything we needed.
While the stay itself was restful, there were a few areas that could be improved. The food, unfortunately, did not meet expectations — both in terms of variety and taste. Additionally, the resort does not offer many in-house activities or amenities, so guests looking for entertainment or recreation might find it a bit quiet.
That said, Woodnote is a good option for travelers who want a peaceful place to stay and explore the nearby attractions in Thekkady, such as the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary.
In summary, it’s a decent resort with good service and a tranquil setting — best suited for those looking to unwind rather than seek a full-fledged resort experience.

The rooms were extremely tiny. There was hardly any room to move around. Staff were obedient and helpful but lacked enthusiasm and were reticent in their approach
