About this house rental
Nestled in North Padre Island, this lovely house for $311 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. This is a beautiful 3 bedroom town home right on the water! Fully furnished with all updated appliances, new tile, paint, granite. The house has everything you will need for a great vacation. The kitchen has all the things you need to prepare meals if you want to dine-in and close to everything if you want to go out. The master bedroom is upstairs and has a King size bed with a great view of the wide canal from your private deck. The master bathroom has a jetted tub with shower and large walk-in closet. The upstairs guest bedroom has a bunk bed and two single beds. The downstairs guest bedroom has a queen size bed and a granite makeup table with large mirrors. The downstairs bathroom is only steps away. the living room is very comfortable with a large couch that has an inflatable queen bed that you can adjust to your desired firmness. There is also an electric recliner to enjoy the view of boats coming in while you relax. The deck outside has a gas grill for cooking all the fish you catch! There is a fish cleaning station on the lower deck with water and electricity. There is plenty of room if you want to bring your boat. We recently installed new green fishing lights for bringing in the big ones at night. In addition, we own the unit right next door. Great for extended families, or a corporate retreat. 2 units side by side, 6 bedrooms 4 bathrooms 2 kitchens and connecting decks!

The place was nice overall. The back porch could use a power wash and the rest of the place was pretty clean. No filter in the HVAC, a few light bulbs out, vent fan in downstairs bath not working. Did not mess with our vacation, we still enjoyed it. Kitchen was pretty small.

Love staying at this property on the canal -- We've stayed in another unit here before. There's a green light for night fishing in the canal & you can enjoy morning coffee on the deck. This particular unit was very well stocked - more so than most! Property Manager was prompt to reply to any questions.

My family enjoyed that comfort of the house and loved the location. Was close to island stores and not too far of a drive when looking for HEB and Walmart. House was clean and ready for us when we got in town. My kids loved fishing and relaxing on the back porch. Would recommend to other and stay at this house again.

We had a wonderful time at this location! The house was nice and clean. The neighborhood was quiet and very pretty. The only downfall was the surrounding area was not dog friendly, barely any grass to walk the dogs and the grass that was there was covered with burrs and my dogs were full of them in less then 2 minutes in the grass. Other then that it was a great stay!

We had a wonderful time at this location! The house was nice and clean. The neighborhood was quiet and very pretty. Perfect Place To Stay
Wonderfully appointed rental! We cooked in every evening (Due To That Damned Rona) and had everything we needed. Keith & Melissa were there for all of our needs with quick responses and are extremely personable. The back deck faced the morning sun, making our evenings shady and cool. Whitecap Beach is a 5 minute car ride away. Our home away from home could not have been better.

Some sanity in these crazy times
If you can't be ON the beach this property is the next best thing.
The location is wonderful, being on the channel and having a view. We enjoyed sitting outside in the morning and the evening. We even did some stand up paddle boarding several times in the channel. Everything you need is in the condo and Keith was very helpful when we needed his help! We will definitely consider this home again and would really like to have Keith be our go to guy.

Really great stay
The location and unit was great. Two minor drawbacks — cable tv didn’t work in MBR and two lawn chairs had small rips in the fabric of the seat and when my large size autistic son sat in it the chair ripped more. He moved to another seat with same result. After that it was fine. We did a temporary duct tape repair of the chairs but removed before checking out. I would like to enquire about the availability of unit A for 11-14 June. Thanks and sorry about the chairs but I think they were pretty ready to go. You guys do a great job maintaining this unit.

Corpus Christi trip 4th of July 2019
We are happy to say that we were not disappointed at all in our recent stay at this property. It was as advertised. The owners were very responsive to our needs. In fact because Spectrum was out in our area and without tv reception they were able to get them out for service on the 4th of July.
Upon on our arrival we had a bottle of wine in the refrigerator and push pops for the kids in the freezer, what a pleasant surprise.
Finally they called us that the cleaning service found some sunglasses and other items we left behind, don't know how many folks would of done that, then they agreed to send them to us, that was totally unexpected. I would highly recommend. Thanks had a great time.

Great Labor Day stay for the family!
We had a wonderful long weekend with the family here! Location is wonderful right on the water and close to the beach and other attractions. House was big enough for all six of us to stay comfortably, and Keith was really responsive to questions. Would definitely do it again!

We had a great time. The owner went above and beyond and made our stay even better. This was the cleanest vacation rental we have ever stayed in. My husband and son loved fishing off the deck. The beds were very comfortable. I highly recommend this for a family getaway or for a fun fishing trip!

Probably wouldn’t stay there again.
Stayed from 10/8/17 to 10/13/17. When I first agreed to rent the property I was INUNDATED with a flood of emails from VRBO, Home Away, and the owner. They were about various things and I got the strong impression that several entities were unaware of what the others were doing. Very confusing. VRBO needs to clean up their act and the owner needs to take charge of his property.
On arrival day while enroute, Keith, the owner, called me and asked if I would trade units with a group staying in the adjoining unit. I agreed to do this because it helped Keith and his other guests. Unfortunately, the other guests turned out to be 8 grown men on a major fishing trip. They had numerous vehicles, trailers and a lot of equipment. They took up most of my parking space so I had to drive up on the curb and avoid the trash cans just to park on the small sliver of concrete that the gang of 8 left me. They also used our deck when we were out, and once while we were there. They indicated that they were good friends of Keith, the owner. I could go on but you get the picture.

Great place to stay
Our family of 6 had a great time. Plenty of room to spread out. Keith was very responsive to my questions. The place was fully furnished with all the small items you might need. I would recommend bringing a fan to help your guests stay cool in the 2nd upstairs bedroom . It doesn't quite get as cool as all the other rooms. Fishing off the back deck was fun for the husband and kids to try. Everything overall was very comfy which made for a great get away. I would recommend to others and will plan to stay here again in the future.

Great Weekend Stay
Very nice place to stay. This was a last minute holiday weekend getaway and we weren't disappointed. Clean and well stocked. Really enjoyed the deck and the boat dock was great as we are boat owners. We took advantage of fishing during the day and boat rides in the evening. Only negative was that the upstairs wasn't very cool the first night but we discovered that the upstairs AC vents had been closed. Once we opened them it was cool and comfortable! Would definitely stay here again in the future and recommend to family and friends!

Clean and Comfortable
We had a great time while staying here. Jack stopped by the first day to introduce himself and was very friendly. He gave us tips on fishing off the deck and even gave us some live bait. The house is very well furnished and was vey clean. They provided us with lots of information up front that was very helpful throughout our stay. There was shopping and restaurants right nearby. The German bakery was Amazing, and right around the corner. The beach was minutes away. Next time I visit the area I will stay here again.
