Clean, nice kept gardens, great location
Mosquitoes- but there were lots of mosquito deterrents everywhere and our room was able to be closed as well as mosquito nets so this was not a problem

Lovely property in the valley/jungle, perfect if you want something different than the beach and want to wake up in the trees. We stayed in the small double room which is a small tree house type unit, separate from the main house and has its own bathroom and wee deck. We absolutely loved it! The owners are also lovely and super friendly. Highly recommend having the food there, very yummy!
The access road is very bumpy and not great for low cars.

Beautiful jungle location, hiking trail right outside. Room was a really cool modern "tree house" with a sparkling clean bathroom. Staff were delightful and the family style dinner was delicious. I would definitely stay again.
A mosquito net or screens on the window of my room would have been helpful - there were a lot of mosquitoes so I wore DEET at night. Breakfast was tasty but a little light for the price.

The grand large room was very clean, and the bathroom and shower are large.
It was uncomfortable and inconvenient for us because we had to go into the Owner's Personal kitchen in order to prepare food, or even make a cup of coffee or tea. Very often they were in the process of preparing food at the same time and we have to negotiate around that. We would have enjoyed having,at minimum, a Tea Kettle in our room.
