Nestled in Humarock, this attractive house for $800 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Direct beachfront property with a beautiful wrap-around porch overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Catch spectacular sunrises and moon rises. Seven miles of walking beach with access to a sheltered harbor and marina just steps from your front door. Multiple restaurants within walking distance. Full-time lifeguards on the beach daily during the summer. Five bedroom cottage with a full kitchen, large dining room, full bath, queen bedroom and washer/dryer on the first floor. Four bedrooms and another full bath on the second floor. An outdoor private shower, grill, large side yard for games and plenty of parking. Humarock Beach is located halfway between Boston and Cape Cod, you can take in the beach in the morning and a Red Sox game in the evening. Bring your kayaks or paddle boards for ocean front or river side paddling.

Lovely property, nice property owner. Great central location with easy access to beach and local fun. Only downside to location is that it’s busy and can be loud at night. But that’s what happens when you are right at the beach and local businesses. Small price for convenience of location!

The only thing we had an issue with is doing the linens and towel laundry. It should be known that u had to do these things before you rent. Was very unexpected. This is a lovely home just be aware that there are stairs to the other four bedrooms which are a bit steep. The front porch is a life saver on hot days - always a river breeze.
We had to deal with the prior tenants trash - it was a bit heavy and not easy. We purposely left all our trash in two barrels not five.
Unfortunately, we did not see the exit instructions until to late - we thought we had done a nice job with the linens on three beds but realized we should have completed the chore. Sorry. Overall it was a lovely vacation.

We rented this house to have a beautiful place to relax and have friends and family come and visit, as it is within an hour of Boston. We walked on the beach every day, ate amazing seafood and enjoyed the porch immensely!

We were all very impressed with how accurate the description of the house was. Well stocked with everything you may need to feel at home. There were even things such as laundry detergent, soap, and things you may have forgotten to pack. There are card games and board games at the house and a very large table that accommodated all 10 of us. There are two coffee makers. One is your traditional 10-12 cup coffee maker and the other is a single serve Keurig coffee maker. This worked perfectly for everyone involved who seemed to have different coffee preferences.
The location for viewing sunsets and gorgeous sunrises was stunning.
It is located on a public beach and access to the public beach is directly next to the house so there are occasions where people walking past were a bit loud but it was not a frequent thing. However garbage pick up at 7:30 AM was a daily thing. That’s also directly next to the house.
Any and all communication with the owner of this house was wonderful. Very quick to respond, very available for any questions we had.
The neighbors were quiet and everyone in that area seemed very very nice.

Wonderful Cottage by the Sea! Tripp's Humarock Cottage
This was a grand beach cottage! Plenty of room for a family and day visits from family in the area. It was everything you would want in a beach house. Clean and well equipped for eating in. Being right on the beach was so wonderful. We had beautiful sunny weather and an awesome storm day with magnificent surf! Tripp's Humarock cottage is within walking distance of a pub, an ice cream shop, a fish house, a cute gift shop, a lovely marina and a superb restaurant, but you didn't need to leave the cottage at all, as you had everything you needed right there! Thank you to the Tripp Family for allowing us to relax, rejuvenate and recharge. Beautiful memories were made. We hope to return.

Great family beach house
This property was perfect for our family vacation. Plenty of room for the 11 of us (5 children and 6 adults), who ranged in age from 4 to 67. The house was clean, comfortable and big enough to not feel crowded. The beach has rocks, lots of rocks and being in the ocean can hurt your feet(need water shoes). The rocks did not stop any of us from having fun in the ocean. We did paint rocks with kiddos one night ,a big success with them. The store /bar/restaurant down the road has great ice cream and a nice bar restaurant. Across the bridge is The Bridgewaye Inn restaurant, a great place to eat in or take out (serves pizza,seafood,Italian).
Steve the owner was helpful and quick to response. We would rent this house again.

Great Vacation !
We just came home from a great week at the Tripp house. What a great vacation.... the house was rustic, charming ,open and airy and most of all direct oceanfront ! I highly recommend this property.

Great week at the Tripp Beach House!!
We just returned home from our week at the Tripp Beach House and we couldn't be more pleased. The house was just as described and just what we expected ~ a waterfront, family beach house with the perfect wrap-around porch!
It was well stocked, had lots of space and on Sunday, it nicely accommodated our family reunion of about 25 people (four generations with the matriarch just shy of her 90th birthday!) - a great day and fun for all. The rest of the week was relatively quiet and peaceful - listening to the surf and enjoying the sunrises and sunsets. And our matriarch enjoyed the whole week!
Steven was responsive to all my questions ahead of time, and when we departed and I told him I would replace the pair of scissors I broke and the hand towel I couldn't find (I'm sure it's in my laundry!), Steven replied, "Don't worry about the scissors, and if you find the towel, bring it back next year!" I just might!
As you can tell, we are very happy with out stay at the Tripp Beach House ~

Perfect Family Beach Vacation spot!
This is a lovely location for a family beach vacation. It was like going back in time to when we used to spend summers on the Cape growing up. It was a blast! The neighborhood is charming with lots to do but not too crowded or noisy. It is a kid-friendly, dog-friendly location which worked well for us. The neighbors were kind and not intrusive. There is a boathouse nearby to rent any equipment one might not want to schlep. We rented kayaks and enjoyed exploring the river and estuaries. The property is conveniently located and has plenty of parking. There are so many spaces outdoors and inside to enjoy a variety of activities or escape to relax or nap. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need.to feed a crowd for a cookout or chef up a gourmet meal and host a sit down dinner. The interior of the house was clean and had charm and character. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of linens. The beach is wide, very clean, no seaweed and there is a lot of open sandy space for a large group to enjoy a full day together without feeling crowded. The only complaints we heard were that the water was too cold and the rocks were challenging to navigate getting into the water for a swim. However, as the tide comes in over the hot sand, the water warms up so everyone was able to enjoy a longer swim by the end of the day if they were patient! I also recommend water shoes for those with delicate feet. That said, the rocks are smooth and beautiful, and there is also a wide expanse of beach with plenty of sand to sink your toes in and build sandcastles. Our family will cherish the memories we made this summer at the Tripp's Beach House. We highly recommend this property if you are looking to do the same!

My Favorite Place
I’ve been visiting this cottage for many years, it really is one of my favorite places. Each year when we visit I stay in the second floor back bedroom. I love waking up to the sound of the waves hitting the shore. I like to get up every morning before the rest of the family, make a cup of coffee and watch the sun rise over the water. A while later I’ll take a run to Forth Cliff then back the other way to the dunes. By the time I get back the family is up and we all enjoy breakfast together in the porch before we all go off to the beach, the river, or the yard to play games. At night we love gathering around the dining room table for dinner, card games, and to share stories from the day. I look forward to bringing my own kids here one day!
