Situated in Munds Park, this charming chalet for $271 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Light, bright Munds Park mountain chalet! This perfect getaway in the pines is beautifully furnished and meticulously maintained - newly remodeled, with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, loft, huge wrap around deck, gas bbq and fenced back yard. Child and pet friendly. Enjoy the luxurious comforts of our beautiful light and bright inviting abode, with its vaulted wood ceilings, central heat and A/C, and windows galore! This mountain getaway has a fully stocked kitchen with breakfast bar, granite countertops and all new appliances, including a dishwasher and microwave. Share meals and play games with family and friends at the custom made farm table with seating for eight! Lounge on the oversized sectional in the living room - tv, wood burning stove, and huge south facing windows with a view of beautiful pines and starry night skies. Sleep tight in 3 bedrooms, and enjoy the convenience of 3 bathrooms and 3 showers. The master bedroom is downstairs with a king sized bed fresh cotton bedding, ceiling fan and master bathroom. Also on the first floor, there is a full bathroom with shower and tub, and full sized washer dryer. The beautiful loft has a leather pull out queen couch, TV, books to read and games to play! Two more bedrooms are upstairs; both with ceiling fans, all with fresh cotton bedding, one with a king bed and one with a queen and single loft bed. Gaze at starry night skies or enjoy morning coffee on the oversized gated deck with gas bbq. Chalet Sandia is supplied with smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers and first aid kit. Also, a highchair, baby gate, iron, ironing board, blow dryers, shampoo, body wash, fresh bath and hand towels, paper towels, toilet tissue, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, wood, coffee maker, coffee, coffee filters, French press. Our mountain hideaway is nestled in the Ponderosa Pines in Munds Park, a small rural community in the Coconino National Forest in Northern Arizona. The Coconino National Forest is one of the most diverse National Forests in the country with landscapes ranging from the famous Red Rocks of Sedona, to Ponderosa Pine Forests, to alpine tundra! Hiking, skiing, exploring, water rafting, dining, museums, swimming, fishing, breweries, monuments, scenic drives! We are the ideal location for year round fun and the perfect launching point for discovering the diverse beauty of northern Arizona! 20 minutes from Flagstaff 50 minutes from Sedona 90 minutes from the Grand Canyon

The property was perfect for us and our 2 labradors. The house had everything needed and the enclosed deck was wonderful to sit out on with the pups and enjoy the pines. We needed a break from the Phoenix heat. We love Munds Park, You will too!! We’d definitely rent this one again in the future.

The cabin was perfect for family spring break getaway! It was very peaceful and the fenced in yard and patio was an added bonus since we were traveling with our two 80# dogs. The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Check in and check out were easy and it was super easy to find. The cabin had everything we needed…even had dog treats! We enjoyed playing games with our youngest son after a day of hiking and the dogs loved laying in front of the patio door and looking out. The only way this cabin could have been nicer is if it had a hot tub to soothe our old bones after hours of hiking every day! LOL Thanks for opening your home to us! We hope to be back again!

We had a fantastic time in Munds park for our spring break! The house was simple and suited all our needs perfectly. The only suggestion I would give is to have the host provide a couple extra blankets. At night the downstairs bedroom was cold and the upstairs rooms ran hot so it would’ve been nice to turn off the central heating and used a couple extra blankets down stairs or for cuddling up on the big cozy couch. But all in all we had a wonderful time!

We had great time @ Chalet Sandia! The space was perfect for our family, and we were close enough to enjoy the 4th of July activities, hiking and golfing. The deck was great morning coffee, evening dinner and games. The closed yard and gated deck was ideal for our dogs.

4th of July Fun!
We had great time @ Chalet Sandia! The space was perfect for our family, and we were close enough to enjoy the 4th of July activities, hiking and golfing. The deck was great morning coffee, evening dinner and games. The closed yard and gated deck was ideal for our dogs.
This was the third cabin we rented in the past three years, and by far it was the best. Thank you for some amazing family time, including an engagement of our son & future daughter in law. We are hoping to return next summer.

The Chalet Sandia was the perfect size and location for a quick weekend getaway for us and our doggie. They even had a container of dog treats on the counter which was such a cute surprise! We loved that communication was almost immediate with any questions. Would definitely recommend this property and will look to stay here again in the future!

Perfect Getaway
Our family really enjoyed our stay here. The house was very clean, and well-stocked. Our kids loved the board games and we spent our time bonding and creating more memories as a family. This place is the perfect getaway. The owner, Cole, was a great host. He was responsive and very helpful! Thank you for the hospitality and cozy atmosphere! We cannot wait to go back and stay here again!

The house was nice. We thought from the pictures that the front was actually the backyard, so we were a little disappointed about the lack of a back yard. But my daughters dog still enjoyed playing in the snow back there. It appeared to be more secluded than what it was- but again- wasn’t a big deal. We enjoyed the fire stove and just hanging out with family :)

Well appointed cozy cabin
This cabin was equipped with all comforts one would hope for in a mountain setting cabin. It was clean, well cared for, and welcoming.
The beds were comfortable, the fixtures were newer and attractive, and the A/C unit was great to use on one particularly hot day. Kitchen had most tools that would be needed for every day cooking, and a few staples were generously provided by the hosts. BBQ was a great bonus, and the deck was lovely.
All in all, this cabin was a treat to stay in, and I would highly recommend it to others interested in a pleasant and comfortable stay in Munds Park, AZ.

Beautiful cabin in the trees. We took our dogs with us on vacation and the property was totally pet friendly with an excellent yard for the dogs. All in all a very excellent stay with lots of fun things to do nearby.
