Interesting character property, very close to Pallant Gallery and Cathedral.
Good advance communication.
Nice bedroom with fireplace. Comfortable beds.
Good breakfast with lots of choice.
Some lovely spacious reception rooms where you can sit and relax.
Inadequate exterior lighting at the rear entrance. We returned at night and struggled to see to work the keypad. Staircase would benefit from lighting sensors too.
We should have travelled lighter..our room was on the second floor and the stairs were challenging with the suitcases. But it's a beautiful old building and you can't expect a lift!!

breakfast was very good, as was the room and very good for the location, the staff were very helpful and happy.

Breakfast and the young man serving us was excellent.
Mattresses were tired. Bathroom was poorly finished. The bedroom window only opened about an inch. The whole place looked tired and in need of decorating. We We have stayed before, but wouldn’t stay again.
