Located in Kiawah Island, this charming villa for $399 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. What drew us to this place was that we could hear the ocean calling us from our private deck and then be digging our toes in the sand after a 2 minute walk to the nearest boardwalk leading to the beach. We hope that you and your family will also be drawn to our recently renovated family friendly end-unit villa for these reasons and so much more. Relaxation and creating beautiful memories is our hope for you as you rest and take advantage of the fantastic location of this West Beach villa, just a short bike or car ride to Freshfields Market and a charming town center full of restaurants, premier shops and services. Our bright, spacious open living and dining area are ideal for your family and friends to unwind on the comfy couch, play a board game, and/or convene at the dining table to share a meal. Our kitchen is well-stocked with cookware and bakeware and even a new dual function coffeemaker. You can enjoy your beverage on the back deck as the sun peaks through the tall trees or on a quiet evening. The three bedrooms all have attached bathrooms which have been updated with modern tiles, vanities and soothing large rainshower heads. Although our villa has beds for 6 people, there is a modular sofa to accommodate at least 1 more person. With 1500 sq ft, one bedroom on the first floor and two on the second, there is plenty of room to enjoy each others’ company but then seclude oneself for some “me” time! Kiawah Island is unique in that it is a gated, safe and secluded sanctuary. Our villa is in a part of the island where there is the easiest access to the main entrance, Freshfields Village Market and you are just minutes away from The Sanctuary and Night Heron Park. The newly built Cougar Point clubhouse and the Conference center are a few minutes walk away. The proximity to the beach is the most attractive attribute of this villa, just a two minute walk to the boardwalk leading to 10-miles of sandy beach. Wonderful place to spend a weekend with friends. Close to the beach and a short beautiful bike ride up to The Villages. Very clean and has all the amenities you need. We look forward to returning next year for marathon weekend. Thank you Mauna for being a great hostess.

A wonderfully cozy home steps from the beach. It’s big enough to accommodate a large family. Peace and quiet provide us a few days of relaxation and my daughter her love for the beach and ocean. Mauna responds immediately and is super helpful with all needs. Highly recommend a stay here!!!

The unit is located in a great location but it needed thoroughly cleaned. There were many hairs in the bathrooms and dust and dirt in all the corners. There were only 3 roll of toilet paper and only soap/toiletries in one of the bathrooms. There are “leftover” items in bathrooms but not fresh or new. The linens were very random and most of the pillows had no pillow cases. The silver wear was dirty! Hardened egg on spoons. The door handle to the front door kept falling off. The manager was very prompt and polite in replying to my messages and someone brought over one pack of charmin and two hotel soaps. We ended up sharing shampoo and conditioner I bought. The maintenance person fixed the door handle as well. Very expensive stay for what you get.

We had a wonderful time! This place was perfect for us. Walking distance to the beach, stocked home, clean, and accurate description. Communication was great and check in and out was super smooth. There’s construction on the property next door but the team was super gracious knowing we had little ones and didn’t do any loud work until after we left.

This was the perfect villa for us because we love the beach. This was a very short walk to West Beach. It was so well stocked- including beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards! The owner was great about communicating and addressed all of our needs. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location, just a few steps from the beach access and community center (the Sandcastle) on the island. It is very close to the front gates to enter Kiawah which makes it easy to get in and out for easy access to restaurants/stores. Perfect stay for a weekend getaway with plenty of bathrooms and beds!

Completely enjoyed our stay in Kiawah Island- this villa is located in a gated community with beach access and golf course. The villa itself is very nice, spacious and completely comfortable. The owner was incredibly responsive to any questions I had (like “is there an ironing board and iron” - YES there was!) . The neighborhood itself was quiet and traveling with my elderly mother felt completely safe. I would 100% rent this location again!!

This is the 3rd time I have stayed at this property and that should say enough. The owner is absolutely wonderful. Very attentive and extremely helpful. The property is a stone’s throw from the beach, and warm and cozy overall. I wish I could stay all summer long. Everything is as advertised.

I have visited Kiawah Island many times in the past. Therefore I have experience at staying at houses and villas. The pros of this property included a location near the beach and the W. Conference Center. The cons include the following. Mold and dirty bathrooms in the upstairs master. Small ants in the upstairs separate bathroom they were on the counter and in the basin. The upstairs side table in the master bedroom needs repainting or replacing. There was no upstairs separate thermostat at least none that we could find resulting in very warm and uncomfortable nights. Beds and pillows were uncomfortable for both upper and lower rooms. Road noise and nighttime headlights shining into the property were annoying . Language in the contract stating in bold type that you’d be fined if you don’t wash dry and fold beach blankets I thought was unnecessary. Some of the furniture seemed very worn. Doorknobs should be replaced with more modern types. The door knobs we encountered were probably from the original house. I would appreciate a response to the above. Thank you

We enjoyed our stay at this spacious villa. Communications with the owner were easy and timely. The villa was well stocked. A few items (deck furniture, beach chairs) could use some updating and a few areas (window blinds, back of TV) could have been cleaned better. Overall, very good location for the beach and exploring all of Kiawah.
