Nestled in Canandaigua Lake, this attractive house for $732 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. The Guest House Bathroom is not available January 1 - May 15th. From January 1 - May 15th Lake Vista rents as a 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home. Exquisite lake views are a focal point at when you stay at this newly renovated Canandaigua home. Located minutes from New York Kitchen (formerly the New York Wine & Culinary Center), Kershaw Park, several local breweries, Lake Vista is the quintessential dream house for travelers. Looking as if it were a picture straight out of a magazine, a white picket fence surrounds the beautifully landscaped yard and large white house with blue shutters. Upon opening the front door, you'll be greeted by a lake view that is sure to take your breath away. Windows span the entire length of the room. Cool blues and shades of grey can be found throughout the home, bringing the relaxing feel of being at the lake inside. An open floor plan allows you and your guests to enjoy one another's company at ease. Challenge the chef in your group to prepare a feast adorned with local produce and paired with your new favorite Finger Lakes wine! Chit chat with your cooking buddies while relaxing on the plush sofa, soaking in the views of Canandaigua. If you find the evening to be chilly, set the mood by turning on the gas fireplace. Mealtime can be enjoyed inside or out. A formal dining room off the kitchen is yours to enjoy, but if you're like us, you'll favor spending time on the newly renovated lakeside patio. Located off the living room, you'll find a four season room you and your guests will battle for! Brew a pot of coffee each morning, open the windows and sip slowly while listening to the sounds of the birds chirping and the waves crashing on the shore. Travel down the hall to find the half bath and laundry rooms. Completing the first floor is the master suite made with luxury in mind. Boasting a king bed and private bath with both Jacuzzi tub and stand up shower. Upstairs, two additional bedrooms, one with full size bunk beds, the second with a private full bed, are complete with an adjoining jack-and-jill bathroom. Outside, a guest house with two bunk beds and private bath completes the sleeping arrangements for this grand home. The sleeping arrangements will be ideal for families looking to escape to the lake together, with plenty of space and a premier location on the lake. Desirable amenities are continued outside where you'll find the lakeside firepit and dock. Sunbathe, fish off the dock, or see who can make the biggest splash into Canandaigua Lake! As night comes, enjoy roasting marshmallows each night and toasting to the memories you made that day. Just minutes from both tourist and local favorites, Lake Vista is truly a one of a kind vacation home. Whether you're planning a family vacation, a wine tour with friends or coming to town for a Finger Lakes wedding, you'll long to visit this home time and time again. ** This property is closely monitored for responsible renting and must abide by the Lakeview LakeHOA Rental Guidelines in addition to guidelines of FLPP. Lake Vista adheres to strict occupancy policies. Parties, events and unregistered guests are prohibited. Occupancy: This property is closely monitored for responsible renting. The maximum occupancy of each home is the number of guests allowed on the premises at any given time. This includes both day and overnight guests. Note: Smoking is not allowed in any rental property. Homes are not handicap accessible, unless stated in description. Where pets are allowed it is indicated. Otherwise, pets are not allowed. Homes are not guaranteed allergen-free, even those that do not allow pets. Docking capabilities may vary based on current water levels. Docking is not guaranteed if water levels are low and/or high due to seasonal weather and climate changes. *Outdoor amenities, including furniture/ watercraft/ fire pits are not available between October 15- May 15*

Very Disappointed
This property could be so special, unfortunately the owners don’t invest in it. It’s a shame. We aren’t complainers, but we have a duty to share in this case. Wow.
To summarize: 1) when arrived at 4pm and were asked to come back at 5pm, delayed a hour than anticipated, 2) the kitchen floor and counters was not clean, 3) the beds were not made, 4) the master shower was not cleaned, 5) the kitchen glasses and dishes were not clean, 6) we were told we could not bring our dog and then had a dog welcome gift when we arrived. Hugh??
In addition, the property was under par and was insulting for the price we paid for the week; 1) many outlets in the house did not work, 2) one of the Master bedroom blinds that looked to the Lake did not open, it was broken, 3) no instruction to use the indoor fireplace, 4) the kitchen needed to be painted, 5) the outdoor chairs needed to be painted, 6) I weeded before we had guest arrive, the walkways has 24’’ weeds, 7) weeds in the gutters, 8) random branches down in the lawn.
The property is under maintained and needs maintenance. The property was not ready for our agreed arrival.

An upgrade on the kitchen supplies would make it easier to cook for a large group. Luckily there are plenty of restaurants nearby! Overall a lovely house - we would love to return in the summer when we could spread out a bit more.

When I looked back at the description I had to click around for quite some time before finding that tiny detail as well as the fact that the bathroom in the cottage was not accessible in the winter months. It is also 2022, not 2021 and the main page still shows two bedrooms with two bunk beds each. I also rented this as it showed a pool table and a ping pong table. This was in fact one table and was in the garage which was not heated. Again, a downfall with the frigid January temps and no path was shoveled to it either. When I arrive to a location for vacation with friends, the last thing I want to do is bundle up and shovel. Lastly, the king bedroom was quite cold and there was not access to turn the heat up. Overall, this is not a property I’d suggest renting unless you do so in the summer months.

We had a lovely stay right on the lake. The house was huge for our 14 people - everyone for comfortably. Check in and out was easy, everything was clean. Only negatives were the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes when we arrived and the water pressure wasn’t great in the shower, but otherwise it was wonderful and we would absolutely recommend!

We had a lovely stay right on the lake. The house was huge for our 14 people - everyone for comfortably. Check in and out was easy, everything was clean. Only negatives were the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes when we arrived and the water pressure wasn’t great in the shower, but otherwise it was wonderful and we would absolutely recommend!

Lovely neighborhood, beautiful home, and stunning views. I hosted my best friend's bachelorette party here, and it was very comfortable for the 10 of us! I highly recommend staying here if you have a larger group. I want to live here.
