Impeccable location, incompetent host

The location is spectacular. It's walking distance from two beaches, 5 minute drive to the local convenience store and about 15-20 minute drive to woolworths, aldi, etc. at salamander bay. A walk to the top of lighthouse road provides great dawn views and dolphins can be spotted in shoal bay (look for the tourist boats)

The hot water was turned off. The oven didn't turn off. The lights in the kitchen flickered when the hot water was on. Hot tip, the switch board is in the hallway cupboard if you want the oven to turn off, and the hot water breaker is flipped opposite to the other breakers. The bbq was filthy. There were a couple cockroaches in the dishwasher but we were happy to handwash. Don't expect cleaning kit, so bring your own dishwashing liquid, sponges, hand soap, body wash, shampoo etc. Despite this you'll cop a cleaning charge if you believe the signage in the kitchen. Also, no linen was provided so bring some sheets and towels. Byo basics - salt, pepper, oil, coffee, milk, laundry powder, etc. The property managers mentioned they could provide linen - you just have to call them during business hours after checking in. Oh and, when there's no hot water just shower in the ocean and maybe you'll find a coin or two - you wont find a refund at Port Stephens Accommodation.

I wouldn’t stay in that apartment it wasn’t worth the money.

the linen was very dirty. the spare blankets were dirty. the kitchen utensils out dated very dirty also the oven and grill.

Hot, broken fan, no air conditioning. Dirty bbq and hair on doonas. no dishcloths or dishwashing liquid/dishwasher detergent.

We will never stay again at this property nor with any property that run by the same company

Beautiful location, 7min walk to beach, 7min drive to Nelson bay shopping area.

We come to the property, none of bed was made. Just two big plastic bed of linen left for us on the table. It made me wonder if they even clean the property before we came. The shower stall door is completely crooked and unable to be closed or moved. We informed management immediately, was told that a handy man will be send out the next day to fix it but nothing was done the entire stay. Two bath rooms but only 1 handwash bottle. The kitchen bin was not line. No spare role of rubbish bag for us to use. There is only 1.5 tiny bag of dishwashing powder for 3 days stay. I had to say I have been in more remote, cheaper motels with better , more generous supply. Beds are bare... You can feel the spring in the mattress for all the beds.
