Relaxing. Chilled.

Kiki and George (sorry George I can't spell the Greek version of your name) were lovely and really welcoming. Super with information, friendly but not intrusive, just great. We did a split holiday and stayed in a Villa Plus accommodation for the few days before and have to say Sun Day Villa was 10 times better!

Nothing. If you don't like a beach that is less than 5 minutes walk with only 2 other people on it, if you don't like chilling in the evening on the balcony, if you don't like great value Tavernas nearby, if you don't like friendly hosts, if you don't like amazing scenery..........leave this one for those that do! Nothing could be better.

my home in Crete :-)

Everything!!!!! we had an amazing time here. The apartment is a dream: 4 bedrooms, 2 bathroom and a living room with a big terrace and an amazing view! No wishes remained open. And on Top of that, the owners are the most kindest people, I‘ve met in Crete. I was feeling welcomed as I was with my family! Thank you Eleni for the wonderful time, for your help, for the delicious cakes, for the olive oil! And thank to your parents as well! Efchatistó poly!

It was wonderful!

This is such a wonderful place to stay. The owners are very hospitable and always helpful. Upon arrival, we were greeted with refreshments. The villa is great! There is everything you need. Far from a large flow of tourists, and for comfort I highly recommend renting a car. In 5 minutes walk there is a gorgeous natural beach with a minimum of people. We will come back here with great pleasure.

Beautiful Villa with welcoming Hosts

Our hosts were so gracious and accommodating. We arrived much later than expected(11:30pm) and they waited up for us, greeting us with smiles and then giving us some delicious warm treats. Our villa had a well equipped kitchen with attention to details Such as: Coffee for first morning, plastic containers, we used for picnic lunch, even a good size ice pack! And so much more. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms had all the toiletries you would need. Washer and large drying rack outside on a huge balcony, where we could also seat 6 of us comfortably to eat. The oceanview from our balcony, wow! Sunrise was spectacular. Space to park 2 cars. Our hosts emphasized to ask for anything we needed. We would definitely recommend this villa.

Unfortunately, as we were late arriving, we had difficulty to find the villa in the dark. There is no sign for the villa , from the main road. The hostess came down the hill and that was most helpful. Probably easier in daytime.

Exceptional

The house is quite near the main road, well accessible. Although there is no sign, the Google map finds it easily. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Added bonus is a big south facing balcony to enjoy the sunrise and have dinner. House was very nice and clean. Includes dishwasher, washing machine, iron, big flatscreen TV and superb wifi connection. Kitchen is fully equipped but kind a short of good sharp knives. Hosts are very hospitable and friendly. There is a small private pebble beach right across the main road. Very suitable for sunbathing and swimming. In the vicinity is also a nice small road to mountains, where vistas over the Ahlia gorge, Olive groves and Thripitis mountains can be enjoyed. Nearby are also couple of good tavernas to have dinner or lunch.

Absolutely brilliant.

The location is exactly what we look for in a holiday - quiet but not too remote, close to a secluded beach. The large and modern property was in immaculate condition and exceptionally well-equipped and the hosts (who live on a lower floor) were very friendly without being intrusive. Over and above the bread, pasta, coffee, tea and numerous other items supplied, we got fresh-laid eggs, hot cheese pastries, fresh figs and lovely glazed cherries as spontaneous gifts delivered to the door now and then. The short walk to the pebble beach was down a steep incline (not suitable for anyone with mobility issues) although a more gentle but longer route was also explained to us. Crystal clear water, excellent snorkelling and no more than a couple of families on the beach at most. There are other more commercial beaches nearby but we saw no need to visit them. We sat on the lovely patio overlooking a spectacular view, drank cold Mythos beer and felt wonderful.

I cannot think of anything to fault at all. The only surprise we had (and this was entirely our own doing) was funny - we took a small bottle of cold clear liquid from the fridge with us to the beach on the first day thinking it was water (like the other thoughtfully-supplied glass bottles in the fridge). I inadvertently swallowed a pint of seawater laughing when my wife took a massive gulp from the bottle and realised it was not water at all, but grape spirit (raki). One word of caution - about 30 to 50 metres out from the shore you may see a couple of large sea urchins or lionfish - don't get too close as both are venomous, although fascinating to watch.

Sunny paradise with wonderful people

Excellent location with a gorgeous view on the sea and the sound of the waves (esp at night when it’s quiet);very close, wind protected and virtually private (in end oct) beach, beautiful and comfortable furniture, large living full of light; and wonderful and very hospital people that made us feel very welcome.

One of the best accomadation of my life/ No wishes left

Everything was perfect! The view from the balcony is amazing and the house is very beautiful, clean and modern. It has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a nice living room with a big terrase, where you can enjoy the warm nights or the good coffee at breakfast. The owners are so kind and friendly, in the first day they gave us some wein, raki and food. The accomadation has everthing which you might need. Good location (you can explore the east part of the island, which from my pov is underrated), best view ever, modern house, good restaurants, beautiful beaches and the nicest owners from Crete. Thank you from our hearts for this amazing experience! We will definetly come back!

Beautiful Villa, excellent hosts.

We had a really lovely stay at this villa which was very spacious and had every facility to meet our needs. The views from the villa were amazing, 180 degree sea views. We spent lovely evenings on the balcony and watching the moon rise. The location was excellent, a one minute drive to Galini beach where we enjoyed swimming and eating at the tavern. We also jet skied and water skied on Long Beach. Kiki and Jiorgos were such friendly hosts, and their generosity in providing us with home made treats was so lovely. We would highly recommend staying here and would love to return some day.
