Breakfast was hearty and delicious; fueled us well for 25-35 miles of biking every day. Great location , near C&O canal towpath, national parks in Harper’s ferry and Antietam battlefield. Close to Farmer’s Markets, including Boonsboro.
Historic setting, lovely walking tour in town.
Hosts were great resources to learn the history of the area, as well as current local options. Room was enormous, furniture was comfortable yet suited to the 19th century, bedding was superb!

Breakfasts were beautiful, delicious, and nutritious. Amy and Chris were helpful, charming, and interesting. The evening talk was full of information and the audience members were so learned. I liked the cookies, too.
One in our party has to use a walker. A room on the first floor would have been better, but I don't think I asked for that.

It was a beautiful place to stay. Chris and Amy were very friendly and willing to help. The food was excellent. Chris and Amy are very knowledgeable about the area and local events.
There wasn't much night life. We understand that's due to COVID and things just opening up!

The location alone is incredible. The Inn is stunning, loaded with civil war history and has tons of character. Amy and Chris were very helpful and made a spectacular breakfast each morning. I was impressed with the cleanliness of my room, as well as the rest of the Inn.
Everything was perfect!
