Wonderful value and location (super close to Essen Hbf). For about 50 Euros a night this was nothing short of a steal. The room and its facilities aren't going to win any awards but they were more than enough for the night I stayed.
There was no body soap or shampoo, which I probably should've expected given that it's advertised as an apartment and not a hotel. There was hand soap and such, though.

Accomodation was clean and nice. Parking is also good. Location is close to everything.
Noisy in the evenings! Check in was a a bit difficult with car, there was no staff there when we arrived.

The room was large and functional, and the location was convenient to the city and the office. There were a lot of shops and restaurants within walking distance and the location was close to the train station. The kitchen had everything for a quick, basic meal, although I would have struggled to cook meals consistently because the pots were so small.
The internet was bad. I managed to connect very early in the morning and once in the late afternoon, but in the evenings, the internet was so slow that it wasn't usable. I had to connect to the hotspot on my phone to manage. The beds were not very comfortable; the one mattress was a bit lumpy,. but the other one was okay. The room is very large but furnished sparsely; it didn't have a proper desk and only the chairs around a bistro table.
