About this house rental
Located in Pensacola Beach, this charming house for $361 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Jan 30, 2024 Rate Rollback -Same Rates as 2022!. Hurricane rated Metal Roof, Windows and Doors completed in 2023 4 New Smart TV's installed in 2023 This quaint summer cottage is located across the street from the Gulf of Mexico. We prefer to rent weekly, from either Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday but will consider shorter stays. The interior is casual Mediterranean style. The cottage is two stories above pilings with an enclosed garage below. The first floor is a spacious living room with an adjoining dining area and convenient kitchen. The master bedroom and bath is tucked away on the first floor. Take the spiral staircase up to the wrought iron railed cat walk where two additional bedrooms are located. The bedrooms upstairs have a bathroom in between them. Both bathrooms have large, tiled walk-in showers. One full-sized air mattress is also available. All counter tops (kitchen & bath) are granite. The upstairs bedrooms have large balconies and the master bedroom steps out onto the main deck that surrounds the house. The large back deck(40'x20')has a seating area. There is also a large outdoor shower with hot/cold water and a dressing bench located downstairs between the garage and back stairs. If your group is larger and you need more space, you can also rent my adjacent vacation rental at Vrbo # 4087419. Bring the whole family and rent both houses!

The home was very comfortable and had such a pleasant feel. The house was very clean and well stocked. The host was there to meet us and gave wonderful instructions on the house. We really loved the location of the house. It was a short walk to the AMAZING beach and a quick drive to stores and restaurants. We WILL go back!

The beach house was amazing! Lots of room and easy access to the beach! Beds we’re comfortable, huge table to play games on, TVs in each room, and a huge porch with table and multiple chairs and lounge chairs. To top it off the outdoor shower was a lifesaver!!!

We had a great time! Not a bad walk to the beach, close enough to the shops and restaurants to drive but not right in the middle of it all. There were not enough beach chairs so Richard went and bought brand new ones for us. Great host!

The house was nice except we had to the upstairs bathroom vent, buy toilet paper, paper towels, and condiments. Left a day early and almost 2 weeks later I get an email stating that there was spots on two chairs and the owner stated that he couldn’t say if it was from us or whoever and filed a claim for $500 for water spots that could be wiped off. We even watered the grass for him and then get treated this way. We will not be staying there anymore. I highly recommend not to stay if he is going to file fraud claims .

The obvious outdoor features of the house are the multiple decks that offer great views from each side along with plenty of comfortable chaise lounges and an outdoor dining space. One gas and one charcoal grill gives the renter the choice for outdoor cooking. The short walk to the beautiful beach is right around the corner. There are two hoses that made rinsing sandy feet and toys easy along with an outdoor shower for quick cleanup upon return from the beach. Indoors, the kitchen is well stocked with utensils and cookware. A large stockpot could be a nice addition. The mattresses are comfortable in all bedrooms. There is plenty of gathering space like couches, tables, and chairs and four televisions for convenient viewing. The furniture is great quality and all rooms are exceptionally clean. Can't go wrong here!

Nice property, good spot for 6 people, we had more and knew it’d be a bit tight, but wasn’t bad. Lots of steps to enter so a little hard on the older family members, they did well with the first floor bedroom. Great kitchen area, large dining table, and very easy access to laundry area.

Perfect Getaway!
Our group of six rented this property for a family vacation. We have always stayed in hotels until this trip. I was apprehensive about staying in someone’s home, but Richard made us feel so welcome! Our “kids” (ages 22-31) LOVED having a place where we could all hang out and play games as well as walk to the beach in a couple of minutes! Fabulous restaurants just a short drive away! Also enjoyed the spacious deck with plenty of chairs to relax, visit, and eat breakfast! Richard was good about answering questions and giving us a tour of the house when we arrived explaining everything we needed to know. Thanks Richard! We hope to return in the future!

Perfect Fit
We absolutely loved our stay at Richard’s Beach House. It had everything we needed and accommodated for five guests perfectly. One of my favorite parts about this beach house was the outdoor shower, I never took a shower inside! Richard was a wonderful host and we cannot wait to be back!

Wonderful Stay
This house has it all: comfort, location and amenities. It was the perfect location for us to both enjoy the gorgeous beach and explore Pensacola. The walk to the beach is very short, no problem to go back and forth if you need something. The house has everything you need from a fully stocked kitchen (including outdoor grills) to beach chairs and toys. Outdoor shower is a plus when coming back from the beach. All beds and furniture are extremely comfortable. The house is in a quiet neighborhood away from the hotels, but close enough to get anywhere. We enjoyed exploring downtown Pensacola and the national seashore. Both just a short drive, maybe 10 minutes. Richard is fantastic! He made sure we had everything we needed. We will be back!!

Blue Angels Homecoming Family Weekend
We took a family weekend to travel down for the Blue Angel Homecoming show. We actually watched the show from the deck on the first day. While we couldn’t see the trick planes from where we were, we had a very nice view of the Blue Angels. Best part is that we got a REALLY up-close view as they circled back around for their next stunt, all from the comfort of our spacious deck. The second day, we went down closer to town to catch the other planes doing their shows that weren’t really visible the first day. The house was plenty spacious for 4 adults and two boys, 8 and 10 years old. Richard was accessible and offered suggestions on best traffic times and good restaurants. The amenities were great with plenty of pots, pans, fresh linens, washer and dryer, dishwasher and spacious refrigerator. The beds were comfortable, the showers were clean and a comfortable size with good water pressure. Large dining room table accommodated all of us comfortably. Good internet service and tv channel selection. Location was great for what we were there for. We were very pleased with our stay and will definitely be calling for reservations for next year’s show. Thanks a lot, Richard.

Cute beach house
We came to Pensacola Beach for a 50th birthday celebration and overall we had a great stay except for a lot of rain. We made arrangements with Richard and Kyle ahead of time for a late check-in since our flight did not arrive until 7:30 pm. Kyle met us at the property at check in and gave us a tour and let us know all we needed about the house and beach. He even gave us some of his favorite spots to eat since we got there late. Richard checked in with us during the week to see how our stay was going and was very nice. The house was very clean and well stocked with linens, dishes, and all we needed for the week and there were some beach umbrellas and chairs to use as well which made it very nice since we couldn’t bring our own. The neighborhood is very quiet so it made for relaxing nights sitting on the back deck enjoying the cool air and great for sleeping in peace and quiet. Had a fun trip and would definitely stay here again.

is very quiet and family oriented. It's a great area to bike ride, jog, or just walk on the beach day or night. I highly recommend this house to stay during your vacation. Richard is very nice, and he will help you with anything that will make your stay better.

We were just a short walk from the beach. Every morning we enjoyed coffee on the back deck. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and things we needed to cook our meals for the week. The owner was very thorough in showing us how to operate everything.
