About this house rental

Located in Middleton, this attractive house for $106 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. 3 bedroom beach shack with open plan kitchen, dining and loungeroom. Renovated throughout including kitchen and bathroom. Decking along front and back of property and landscaped to fit within the surrounding nature reserve. On the bike path between Goolwa and Victor Harbor. Great bakeries, restaurants and hotels 5minute drive. The shack is fully equipped for families with games, books, toys, wetsuits and boggie boards. The area out the back is grassed for children to play on and there is a picnic table at the back of the property to enjoy spectacular sunsets. Please note tea towels, quilts/blankets and pillowcases are supplied. You will need to supply your own bedsheets and towels. If this is a concern please contact us to discuss. Please note during peak period Dec/Jan full payment is required 5 weeks prior to commence of booking date. Cancellation 4 weeks prior to booking will incur 50% of total booking fee. Cancellation 3 weeks or less prior to commence of booking will incur full payment. THE SHACK IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR RENT TO SCHOOLIES - due to previous damage occurring by schoolies. Locality Middleton is a town in South Australia on the eastern end of the south coast of the Fleurieu Peninsula. It is situated between the towns of Port Elliot and Goolwa. A holiday and tourist destination with a popular surf beach. Some Southern Right Whales calve and mate in the waters off Middleton's beaches and can be viewed from Middleton Point or Bashams Beach during the whale watching season (June or July to October). Shack located at the Goolwa end of Middleton - along the bike path Beach access - can see path from the front deck, tuck your board under your arm and head for the beach - takes a whole 2 minutes. No through road, close to Encounter Bike path that runs from Goolwa to Victor Harbour, nature reserve behind and sea out front. Unspoilt views from back deck of nature reserve Long unspoilt beach suitable for swimming, boarding & surfing. We were attending a two-day bike race (Tour of Goolwa) and wanted a quite location to enjoy some rest and a good sleep between the days. This property suited our needs beautifully. Had everything we needed. Thank you to our hosts for the weekend.

Cosy shack by the sea, great location. Very well stocked with games, cards tennis rackets etc. Shack backs onto a natural reserve, very peaceful.

This is a very nice house just at the right place close to the beach. It is in a quite neighborhood. The house is well equipped with all what we needed, nothing fancy but exactly what we needed. In particular we were very positive surprised about all the facilities in the kitchen including a drinking water filtration system. the communication with the owner was easy and they responded very quickly to inquiries. We would come there any time again.

Was a really pretty shack close to the ocean, very peaceful well suited for a family, has a newly renovated modern bathroom and includes loads of entertainment for both adults and children and even had a visit from some beautiful native birds that I have not seen before.

Delightful cosy beach house, ideal location so close to the beach. Clean and fresh inside and loved the outdoor decking overlooking the nature reserve. Great selection of books, games, DVDs, wetsuits, body boards etc. Perfect family getaway, highly recommend.

We loved the easy stroll to the beach and there was plenty of boogie board time for the teens. It was great to have a base in Middleton - we could easily drive out around the neighbourhood to visit the Sunday Goolwa Market, Pt Elliot and local takeaways. We even scored a visit one evening from one of the local kangaroos - passing through with a joey - back into the reserve behind. And sitting out the back in the morning sun listening to the birds was magic. Thank you for our stay - I'm sure we'll come back.

Admittebly it was middle of winter but all we wanted was solitude from screaming kids and teacher demands!! So your property was perfect! Allbeit small & cosy but did not matter as weather outside was full on south westerly winter winds, sleet, hail and torrential rain! A consolatioin was whales surfacing, say 2kms off shore, so rewarding!! I'm the trainbuff so steamranger in winter with full on whistle & smoke meeting cold air was brillant; and so close! Ample vids composated for no WiFi & all mod cons enabled cooking huge range of delights. Plenty of hot water, though wished there was a plug for a hot bath!
