About this house rental
Located in Moultonborough, this charming house for $461 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Our house is located in the waterfront community of Suissevale. Amenities include tennis courts, a beautiful beach, and a playground. There are miles of well maintained dirt roads for walking or biking. Great location in the heart of Lakes Region. This is a custom designed house with granite counters and pine trim throughout. The post and beam deck has a screened area for meals, a long stretch along the front with a child gate to keep young ones off the stairs. The outdoor shower from May through October is a relaxing escape from city living. The house is located in the beach access community of Suissevale. There are approximately 27 miles of dirt roads for biking, walking, and jogging. The community beach has a permanent volleyball net, barbecue grills, picnic tables, two rafts, etc. The house is about 4 miles from the center of Moultonborough and 17 miles north of Wolfeboro. Castle in the Clouds is a five minute drive with its miles of hiking trails and excellent restaurant and Castle tours. The Suissevale community asks that renters not use the beach on Saturdays between Memorial Day and Labor day.

House was very clean. Wonderful layout- plenty of space for everyone. Great game room downstairs that kept the kids entertained for hours. Short drive (1 minute) to beautiful private beach and playground area. Great location- close to restaurants, Castle in the Clouds, other fun things to do. Pete was an incredible host and even marked us something we left behind! We will definitely be back!

We have only rented the house 2 times both over New Year’s Eve for a few days. We wll had a great time, the house is inviting and comfortable and the games in the basement was a hit giving the kids and adults active fun time together.

We have never been to the area and were pleasantly surprised. The cabin was clean and the location was very close to Castle in The Clouds where my daughter got married. It was also close to the activities and restaurants that we were going to. Thanks again!

This is our 2nd stay at this property and was just as wonderful as our first! Owner is fantastic (he even gave us a late checkout so we could enjoy another day!). Owner keeps his home clean and extremely well stocked and lots of room for big family or friends! My niece (and some boozy adults) especially loved the game room upgrades downstairs, so fun! We cooked out, drank, sat by fire, enjoyed the nearby beach, and fished locally. It was perfect! Packing Tips: pillows etc are provided but we prefer our own pillows/blankets. Folding chairs are available but we still bring/prefer our own. Coffee pot is basic slow drip pot so plan accordingly or bring ur own appliance. Kitchen and cleaning bathroom supplies all available no need to pack those extras. Also, had no issues getting into owner WiFi or accessing our Netflix/etc at night.

This home was clean, comfortable and spacious! Beautiful open concept kitchen/dining/living area for our family to gather. Loved the large private master suite. And a bonus game room in the basement where us adults found ourselves unwinding and having a great time at the end of the day!

The property was very clean, with lots of space for our family of 8 to gather comfortably for dining and visiting. The kids enjoyed the many of the table games in the basement. The large Association beach was a short drive away and was lovely with lots of picnic tables and a playground.

This house was perfect for our vacation. Very clean. Great porch and screened porch. The basement was an unexpected bonus for our kids in their 20s. Air hockey, ping pong, basketball. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice house. Accessible to Suissvale Beach which it was really nice for the kids.
The house is very clean and well equipped (the extra blankets and pillows were very appreciated). The beach is 5 minuets driving distance from the house and perfect for families. The beach has picnic tables and has a little canal perfect for fishing. The yard is small but it was perfect for the fire pit. The screen porch, deck and grill were also great to have. Love the house and we would rent it again for sure!

The structure of the house also allows for many ways to connect while maintaining social distancing - tenting, porches, separate bedrooms/bathrooms with outdoor access.

Awesome Spot for a Family Vacation!!
We loved everything about our stay!! We booked last minute given the current COVID situation and were really looking for a change of pace and scenery as we had been pretty much stuck at home for 3+ months. The house was beyond clean and had everything that we needed from cooking and grilling items to clean linens and towels. The kids and adults loved the game room. The screened in porch was perfect as a few nights were rainy yet we were still able to enjoy the outdoor fresh air. The outside shower was super legit and great for when we came back from the beach. Many days we packed a lunch and headed to the beach that was less than a 5min drive. We bought fishing licenses and enjoyed a few casts as well!! I would for sure consider this property for future family vacations!!

Wonderful Experience!
Peter's house is beautiful. When we arrived, it was sparkling clean. There were only 4 of us (plus our dog) so we had much more space than we needed. The house is so spacious that we hope to return with our other son, his girlfriend and our parents. Even then, it won't be cramped.
We lucked out with the weather, so we spent our days either at the beach or on nearby hiking trails. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evening. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for meal prep. There's also a gas grill on the large wrap-around deck.
If it had rained, we wouldn't have minded because there's a large screened porch, shelves of books (a nice touch), good wifi and tvs equipped for streaming Netflix and Amazon Prime.
And I have to mention the game room. It's equipped with a dartboard, foosball and ping-pong tables and an air hockey machine. These are not cheap department store game tables, and there are plenty of spare pucks, paddles, balls.
The beach is about a fifteen minute walk. It's private to the community so it wasn't crowded at all. Plenty of space to spread out. We didn't have any problem with parking when we drove down with beach chairs (also supplied by Peter). There are picnic tables on the beach, shade trees, charcoal grills, and restrooms. There's also a pond area where kids were catching sunfish. The water is clean, and there are a couple of rafts to swim to.
The few times I reached out to Peter, he was responsive and helpful.
Thanks for making our short vacation special, Pete. It's just what we needed.

Wonderful property in Lake Winnipesaukee
This was a great place to stay! Very cozy and clean. Great Kitchen and comfortable beds to sleep in. I recommend 10/11 people at the most with their being 2 bathrooms. We came during the holidays so there's definitely more outdoor space in the summer with a grill. The basement was great with games and a couch to sit on. The location is quiet with the lake being a 15 min walk. One Recommendation- if you're going to cook vegetables, bring a peeler. We did a ton of cooking and that was the only thing missed. Other than that, well stocked!

Welcoming House
The Cardinal Street house was comfortable and welcoming. It was clean and efficient. There was plenty of room for playing and relaxing. The young folks really enjoyed the games in the basement and spent much happy time there. The house was close to a number of interesting places to visit and things to do and close to good restaurants.
All in all, the Cardinal Street house was a great place for adults and young people and a wonderful place to spend the long weekend.

Amazing end of summer getaway
The pictures really don’t do this location justice. The house is beautiful and the setting idyllic! Great for our family to relax, walking distance to a great beach, we had an amazing time we just didn’t want to leave!! Highly recommend this house!!

Great vacation home for family vacation
Peter was a very attentive owner and made sure that details were taken care of. The game room in the basement has a ping pong table, full size air hockey game, and foos ball table. The kids spent so much time at night playing all the games.
Kitchen is well stocked, and amenities are great.
Only suggestion to future renters would be to purchase a second beach pass from Peter. The Suisvale beach is not walkable from the house, and I was shuttling people back and forth. Much easier to have a parking pass for a second car!

Perfect family retreat!
We enjoyed our time at Peter’s home. It was clean and well stocked. The best part was being able to take our dog! He loved the screened in porch. I enjoyed a morning walk each day. The neighbors were friendly. We opted to drive to the beach. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk. There was always parking available. The beach is crowded on the weekend, but less crowded during the week. It was wonderful! We floated on tubes, swam to the docks, relaxed and enjoyed the water! It was a great week!

Spacious, comfortable home with all amenities
Our family stayed at this beautiful, fully-equipped home for a few days over Christmas. We loved the large, bright first floor with a very comfortable living room, kitchen and eating area. There are three bedrooms and a bathroom with a double sink off the main area. We liked the door separating the bedrooms from the main area so that the early risers would not disturb those who were still sleeping. The upstairs bedroom was very large and had its own bathroom. Although we didn't use the outdoor areas, they were large and inviting. I'm sure the screened-in porch and outdoor shower get a lot of use in the summer. The house is tucked into the woods and very private, yet convenient to the main road. The owner was very responsive to our questions, always getting back to us immediately. I would recommend staying at this house, and will do so again if we need more space for family anytime we're visiting family in the area.
