GROUNDS: The grounds that surround the house provide lawns for croquet, trails through a patch of woods on the water, and several gardens including one surrounding a small stone patio on the sea with a chaise for quiet reverie or a good book. Suite #1: This second-floor master suite features a dramatic bedroom with sweeping ocean views on two sides and woods and field on the third, a private balcony, and walk-in closet. The grand bathroom features a jetted tub with skylights and ocean views. Down the hall is a queen bedroom and second full bathroom. Suite #2: The third-floor suite has a queen bed and a dramatic view to the private swimming cove below. There is a large bathroom with skylight, and an adjoining room with a single bed and crib. Suite #3: Across the house and upstairs from the media room, this charming second-floor suite under the eves in part of the house built about 1800, features a large bedroom with king size bed and cozy sitting area, two smaller bedrooms (one with a queen bed and crib, the other a single bed), and a full bath.
