About this villa rental
Located in La Paz, this charming villa for $252 per night is a great option for your next break. Beautifully furnished with custom pieces made by local artisans, this villa is on the 4th floor providing spectacular beach and territorial views. Perfectly situated on the El Mogote peninsula in the bay of the Sea of Cortez, we are located in the community of Paraiso Del Mar. With only a 7-minute boat ride to the Malecon, restaurants and the city of La Paz, you are close to the everything but still exclusive and safe for a family, or private and quiet for a couple looking for a romantic getaway. Besides the ideal location and sweeping views, the villa has all the amenities you will desire with thoughtful additions that you'll appreciate. The condo has: New front load washer and dryer, Internet wi/fi, 4 flat screen Smart TV's, movies and DVD player in the bunk room along with a gaming console and plenty of board games. Thoughtful USB plugins at all the beds, ceiling fans in every room, a Bose c/d player, and a Jawbone portable speaker. Stocked kitchen with service for 12+ and many staples. There are beach chairs and towels, an umbrella, and a cooler available for excursions plus sand toys and pool noodles for the littles. We also have a golf cart for rent if you would like, please inquire for prices. There are 3 bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms. The first bedroom has a Cal King bed, the second bedroom has 2 Queen sized beds and the third room we call the Bunk Room. It has 2 sets of bunk beds that hold 4 twin beds. We have sleeping accommodations for 10 but the maximum capacity for adults is 8 and there is a fee for over 6 guests. Dogs are allowed at $20/day per dog - absolutely no cats, an owner is allergic. Dog waste bags, water/food dishes, doggie bed, shampoo/towel and toys are available in the unit for your use. The Paraiso community has many benefits available to you during your stay including access to the guest boat for transportation to and from town, the van shuttle throughout the community and usage of the Paraiso bicycles. Unit D102 has kayaks and paddleboards available for check out to guests, a market for any last minute needs and a workout room. You can also find Hilda, our concierge, available to book trips to local islands, whale watching or suggest a restaurant. There are 2 restaurants on site - the Survivor Bar is located at the pool and is open for lunch and dinner, while the Hoyo 19 Restaurant at the Golf Course is open for breakfast and lunch. Both restaurants are run by Sergio, our well sought after chef. Look for him on the transportation boat bringing in the catch of the day and fresh produce. Catch your own? Either restaurant will gladly prepare any fish you may have caught during your stay. Last but certainly not least of all, the community has it's own Arthur Hills 18-hole golf course run by Marcos. Check the prices but last I heard you could get a round of golf, club rental and a golf cart for $60. From the moment you step off the private boat transportation to this exclusive resort community, you will realize why this place is a secret spot and yearly destination for so many. The community is over 900 acres with 800 reserved for wildlife sanctuaries, mangrove preservation, and biological sand dune corridors making it a playground for adventure and privacy. Whether you decide to swim with the sea lions, paddleboard next to a 40 ft. whale shark, catch a 50 lb dorado, golf on an Arthur Hills course, or just take a walk on the Malecon - La Paz has a little of something for everyone. **Please note -- unit sleeps 10 but additional guests over 6 incur a $10/per person per night resort fee.

Our family had an absolutely lovely stay! We had my elderly parents, my husband, and I and our two young children. The condo was so clean and fresh and modern. We loved it! They had extra pool toys, beach towels, a full kitchen for cooking and a few condiments. And the property manager was very responsive for things like toilet paper and dishwasher tabs. We would love to stay again sometime. Probably our only complaint is that the pool was very cold and it is a bit of a trip with a shuttle bus and a boat ride every time you want to go to the mainland to do something like get food. We did not think the bar at the pool had very good food, except for when we ordered dinner as family style then it was delicious. But the lunches were just ok.
Overall an A+ stay, and we’d highly recommend this condo. Also, the view from the balcony out to the pool and the beach is lovely.

It was a beautiful property and exceeded all expectations! Plenty of room and privacy with gorgeous views from multiple patios. The pool area was beautiful and views amazing. We had anything and everything that we could need. Will definitely stay here again.

Lisamay's condo is even bigger than it looks in the photos, and so lovely. The views are gorgeous and we had everything we needed for cooking, enjoying the beach and relaxing. Transportation to the dock or golf course (calling the van or taking bikes, too far to walk) was convenient, and the boat ride is fun. The pool is amazing. In low season (September) there was no bar or Cafe except at the golf course, and it was hot but everything the owner could control was wonderful, including lots of bug spray for morning and evening mosquitos. Going into town for expeditions and supplies was easy and staying out at the resort was also lovely. We would love to come again!

The condo was so clean and comfy! Beds and linens felt so luxurious. Kitchen had everything we needed. The pool area was just beautiful. And the views were breathtaking. Lisamay had great communication with all of my questions as it was my first time in La Paz. Definitely returning!

If you are visiting LaPaz and need a beautiful place to stay, this property is for you! There were 8 people in our party- ranging in age from 11-55. There was plenty of room and the set up with 4 bunkbeds, 2 queens and 1 king room was ideal. Having 4 bathrooms for such a large group was also amazing. The furnishings are beautiful- we had everything at our fingertips including games, poker chips, puzzles, books, etc. The property itself is very well-kept. The pool is large with a fully-staffed restaurant and swim-up bar. The beach is steps away, and even taking the boat taxi to and from LaPaz was enjoyable. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this property!

This property is in a very safe community in La Paz, you must take a boat back and forth to the main land , but there are 2 boats per hour and transportation is very accommodating. We had a magnificent stay, the property was clean, the beds were so comfortable, the house / apartment has everything you need for a wonderful stay. we secured a day with private transportation to 3 pristine beaches and had a magnificent time. As a family that travels often we highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the area.

We stayed here for 6 nights, a group of 8 extended family members, and enjoyed it very much. The place is clean, well kept, and comfortable. It was nice having four full bathrooms and we never felt cramped. We cooked some meals there and the kitchen was well stocked. It was nice to be able to watch movies on Netflix at night. We booked a trip with Baja On Board as recommended by the owner and that was fabulous. We swam with whale sharks, sea lions, and then went to Balandra Beach. We also did a day trip to Todos Santos and stayed late to watch baby sea turtles released into the sea. Paraiso Del Mar is a great community but you are dependent on the shuttle vans to get around unless you have a car or golf cart or if there happen to be enough bikes outside the condo when needed. We walked to the dock to catch the ferry once and it’s not a quick walk. Especially if you have less mobile folks with you. The good news is that you can call the shuttle vans to pick you up and they are very timely. You can also preschedule a van pick up if needed. Overall a great experience. I would stay here again if in La Paz.

The staff at Paraíso Del Mar were unfailingly helpful, the pool restaurant made some of the best paella we have ever had, and the city, sea, birds, and other wildlife were sources of fascination and delight. Snorkeling with the majestic whale sharks was amazing. We can’t say enough about the joy of having this beautiful place to return to after our explorations. Thank you!

Peaceful and Unique Experience
We stayed at this property in February 2022. The place is very spacious. We were a family of 4, including a 1 year old and 6 year old. I loved that everyone had their own room. For once, I actually got really good sleep while traveling with our infant because she was tucked away in one of the bedrooms away from all the noise. She slept like a baby :) Our 6 year old son loved the ferry rides back and forth to the unit. Unfortunately, there is just a little store on the island and it was closed all of the time we were there. You have to plan your meals out and count the extra time it will take you to take the ferry to get into town. But overall, I loved the experience and would love to stay there again!

The condo was absolutely gorgeous from the views to the beautiful beach decor. Upon arrival the condo was clean and had everything needed for a week long vacation. Easy access to the pools and swim up bar/restaurant. Which served delicious food, cocktails, and had great service. The beach front resort is an absolute must! We loved our stay and Lisamay was an awesome host! We can’t wait to visit again.

We love Pariso and the condo is in a great location. Very roomy and very clean. Lisamay is a great host and has local people that can help as needed. Highly recommend her place if staying in Pariso. We will definitely stay there again.

Above and Beyond
If you’re considering a stay at Paraíso Del Mar, do not hesitate to stay in this condo. For once the photos do not do justice to what you will see and experience when you arrive. Extremely clean and well maintained with everything you will need for your time there..
The owner, Lisamay, could not have been more helpful with everything from the booking process all the way through to the end of our stay. She even made sure we had all the preparations for a meal, including a six pack of beer, upon our arrival the first night. Her attention to detail was just terrific and we would not hesitate to return and will happily recommend this condo and the PDM property to all our friends.

Our 5th stay in the Paraiso Del Mar development, first stay in a condo unit. Loved the access to the pool and restaurant. The condo is beautifully decorated and was a great fit for our family and had many thoughtful touches that make your vacation just a little easier. La Paz is such a wonderful city and we took full advantage of the natural wonders of the community.

The description of the property really did not do it justice. Had a great stay, even though January’s weather was cool and very windy.

More than expected
We had a group of 10 and I was worried about the sleeping arrangements but we were all so comfortable!! The beds And pillows were amazing! Every detail was perfect. We took advantage of all the amenities of the facility...the bikes, the pool, the pickle ball (make sure you bring your own ball and paddles), and the poolside bar (amazing food!). We would definitely stay here again!
