Great location for what we needed. Lovely room with great amenities, home from home with a. Lavazza coffee machine for a morning cuppa. Thoughtful touches like toothbrush packs. Super friendly and helpful hosts who were more than happy to advise places to eat plus if you were to need it they can organise taxis, airport pick ups etc..
Lost a 'smile' because we had to leave mega early in the morning so would miss breakfast. The lovely host said she would leave some pastries in our room to make up for it so we could have something to eat..........and then didn't!

I am amazed. I was looking for a place to stay in Rome near an event I was due to attend. Miraculously, OTTO Rooms was just about 500m from it - and me being a photographer, and the room being available at a VERY strong discount, I just had to check it out.
The neighborhood is high class, the entrance very unassuming and feels private; the rooms are IMMACULATE (mine was one of the smallest ones, which worked well for me, travelling alone - bed was still queen size!), and included complimentary coffee and tea. The common area is covered in photos from a recent photo contest the hosts Roberto and Simona contributed to creating, in collaboration with some rather renowned names in the Italian photography scene, and there was a small-but-well-stocked library of photography books. And speaking of Roberto and Simona, they were extremely courteous and personable, and that always makes a difference when you're new to a city.
I must mention the breakfast, included with the room. I'm told they had to downsize that during the pandemic, and just now are trying to revamp it. "Revamp" meaning: there's a pastry chef in the morning, providing a selection of home-baked pastry and homemade jam. And of course there's a selection of cured meats and (very good) cheeses for those who prefer continental breakfast - you can also request eggs to taste, made for you on the spot, as well as coffee, all included. See the photos attached. I haven't felt the need to include any photos of the property, as the ones in the listing are just as high quality and true-to-life as I would've wanted to take myself (they ARE photographers, after all 😉).
Do NOT miss on this, unless you really want something entirely different (like a SPA or whatever), or really, really need to be in a different part of town. If you're reading this review, I'm assuming this to be in your price range - and if you're also a photographer, you MUST come here.

Everything was so perfect, no wonder the high rating. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and super easy to communicate with. Our room was always spotless clean, abundant choice of breakfast and comfortable beds. Not in the city centre however there's a metro very close by.

The room and the whole place are modern, clean and tastefully furnished and decorated.
Small highlights that made it stand apart included: Free refillable water, soundproof windows, fast Wi-Fi, smart TV and USB wall plugs.
The breakfast was varied including freshly made scrambled eggs and coffee specialties.
The hosts Simona and Roberto were super friendly and caring, provided lots of helpful information and made sure everyone felt at home.
The walls are a little thin, so you could occasionally hear the TV from the other room, but I still had a good sleep.

Hospitality and kindness of personnel. The district is so quiet, locals only and no tourists and at the same time just 20 minutes by walk to Vaticano - is unbelievable treasure. Breakfasts - like a home boutique, tasty italian style simple and cosy. We enjoyed every morning

Very clean, bright, and professional. Very welcoming to me and my two teenagers. Arranged car service to and from airport, which went very smoothly. Secure entrances. Overlooking Piazza Giuseppe Mazzini, short walk to Metro station.

Excellent accommodation in Rome. Family, tourist trip and we all enjoyed Otto Rooms. Very clean. Great location. A good Roman breakfast. Very hospitable hosts. Everything is furnished in a modern style and with a lot of taste. Everything was perfect!

The staff were really friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great and I really enjoyed looking at all the art and photography hanging in the gallery.
It was a fair walk to get to the sights and attractions but it would be easy enough to travel around the city by train or taxi.

Great location in a neighborhood that was not crawling with tourists but residents, and near to the metro and bus stops so it was easy to get around the city. Nice, bright room, very quiet. And the owners were extremely responsive and helpful. Top notch.

I loved how clean and trendy this room was. It was beautiful and incredibly comfortable. I really appreciated the breakfast included in the room as well!
It's way too far from any sightseeing. So if you're travelling for tourist-purposes, I wouldn't recommend this place (unless you're willing to cab/uber into the main area). Due to the hotel being in an 'office-building', getting in involved calling a number to let you in the front door - which is very inconvenient if you don't have an active number. Generally, getting-in and out was a bit of a process.

Host was super kind and full of good pointers for restaurants. Place was well maintained and clean. Perfect location. Great with access to public transport. Surrounded by good restaurants and shops.

The owner is very helpful. Just one example: my father had a small accident: he fell at the entrance and his hand bled a little. The owner bandaged it immediately and said that if there was any dust problem, he would immediately, if we called at night, organize medical care if necessary.
Breakfast is prepared in advance in the rooms. Very abundant.
One thing: the doors of the rooms are not sufficiently soundproofed, unfortunately you can hear the conversation from the hall.

Otto rooms is spotless. It’s large, with plenty of space for two people. There is plenty of food and drink provided, even a coffee machine! The beds were comfortable, air con good and it’s quiet at night. It’s about a 30 minute walk into town, which we enjoyed. There are loads of incredible restaurants nearby which we enjoyed more than the ones in the centre of town!

Great hotel near the Vatican! Great view from the room! The hosts are very nice people, helped to solve a few questions, answered messages very quickly. The room for one is very spacious and comfortable, stylish. Breakfast is already in your room, it is not necessary to get up early to have a snack.

Excellent staff , located 5 minute walk from Lepanto metro which is very handy to use , rooms were in excellent condition and beds extremely cosy , pharmacy and shops only a 1-2 minute walk away , room had a fridge which was very handy if you wanted to grab minerals in the shop to keep chilled, A/C in the room also which was ideal in the warm temperatures , definitely a 10/10 stay
