The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable, with excellent beds that made for a good night's sleep whenever the surroundings were quiet. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always willing to help with any requests. The hotel restaurant and café were very good, with excellent coffee and a pleasant atmosphere, and the breakfast offered a good selection, although we would have liked bacon as an option.
The location is convenient, with the centre of St. Georgen only a five-minute walk away. We also appreciated the complimentary KONUS guest card, which provided free public transport and access to a number of attractions in the region, adding great value to our stay.
The biggest drawback was the lack of air conditioning. During our stay the weather was very warm, making the rooms uncomfortable at night. Because the windows had to remain open, noise became a significant issue. The hotel is located on a busy road, rooms overlooking the outdoor dining area can be noisy into the evening, footsteps from rooms above are clearly audible, and the automated internal doors create a loud locking and unlocking noise each time someone passes through.
There are also no leisure facilities such as a swimming pool where guests can cool down on hot days, and the restaurant itself is not air conditioned.
Although the train station is only around 700 metres away, the walk is almost entirely uphill, making it quite challenging with luggage. Taxi availability is also limited. Finally, while this isn't the hotel's fault, visitors should be aware that most restaurants in St. Georgen close early—particularly on Sundays—so dining options after about 8 p.m. are limited.

The room was very clean and spacious, and we all enjoyed the beautiful scenery and convenient location. The location was ideal and made it easy for us to explore the surrounding area. Overall, the cleanliness, room size, scenery, and location were the highlights of our stay.
The staff were unfriendly and unprofessional, and the hotel appeared to be seriously understaffed. We did not feel welcomed during our stay.
Although we all ordered dinner, the food was very disappointing and of poor quality. In addition, I had booked two rooms together, but the hotel could not provide rooms close to each other, which was inconvenient for our family.
Overall, the service and dining experience were well below our expectations.
