Very warm welcome on arrival. It’s very much a family business and all the staff are lovely. Plenty of parking in an open space (not underground). Food in the restaurant was delicious. Provide a well stocked mini-bar at normal price for when you’d rather sit on the balcony or the rest room rather than downstairs. Great location for hiking with a number of walks from Fohrenbűhl, and plenty of attractions in the surrounding area to visit. I would highly recommend it as a base for the area.

cheap.
after booking and paying via internet. I then get email saying staff on holiday the day I turn up. get details to get in and to get key for room . but restaurant is shut so no food. I was on second floor room 14 and internet was all but useless. needed it to plan my route and book next accommodation. no bottled water or any coffee making facilities in room. breakfast was ok.
