Not worth it

Clean and well equipped

Pellet stove didn’t work. House was very cold. Couldn’t wait to leave in the morning.

We had a good sleep...felt very safe --enjoyed our short stay. I love Lone Pine area.

no breakfast included and we did not expect one. Always bring my own. What I really enjoyed was the nice warm fire from the pellet stove. The cottage was fine. We were comfortable and slept well. There were some different things with the Decore....I am thinking it was suppose to be Retro ???? Anyway sure beats staying in a motel....Will do it again for sure.

lots of visual niceties, scents and perfumes overpowering!!

sweet decor, quiet, convenient, well equipped, charming….

fragrances were overpowering/- chemicals for cleaning of toxic instead of hyper allergenic, one party member was unable to stay and moved to hotel. —suggest more organic approach to sheets, and less perfumed cover up. I’m still airing out clothes I wore in unit— sanitized does not have to be toxic cleaners.

Cute, cozy and comfortable!

The location was great; close in town but quiet. This little house was charming, small in size but it had everything we needed. The pellet stove was awesome! I had never experienced one before but it worked great. I had to call Rob to talk me through how to get it going because I had missed seeing the instructions on the desk and he was accomodating. Loved the memory foam mattress. Nice to have off street parking. I liked having a full bookshelf and found the cat artwork to add to the quaint quirkiness.

I didn't care for the rain shower head. To big and bulky for the small shower.

The Muir Cozy Cottage is aptly named.

I prefer to stay in places that seem like the owners actually live, or stay, there once in a while. In addition to its wonderful name, the cottage seems like a loved space. The books are also great, especially the ones on Manzanar. Everything points to owners who love cats, reading and quiet time. It’s nice to stay somewhere that isn’t so staged and doesn’t charge a fortune.

everything was good, but the house does not smell good…overly-perfumed covering what smells kind of like a litter box.

Lovely cottage in good location, pet friendly

Cute little cottage very conveniently located for exploring the Whitney/Alabama Hills/Manzanar area. Very helpful host, nice neighbor. Well equipped kitchen. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

We had a great time and really liked this cottage.

Address in the email we received so it would be easy to locate the unit. Neighbor next door was outside and asked if we were looking for the bnb rental and pointed it out.

Nice neighborhood in Lone Pine. Super convenient. Very clean inside.

Ceiling fan in bedroom was dirty, but I am an anal Virgo who notices these things. If we had stayed longer I would have simply wiped it down.

Wonderful stay! Robert our host was very easy to talk to.

Even though the Cottage was Pet friendly, aside from the cat deco, there were no signs of pets ever being there. The place was very clean.

We had a great stay and would stay again.

Quiet neighborhood, nice neighbors, very clean. Great communication by host. Beautiful location and really nice to have a fenced in yard for dog to roam.

Kitchen is tiny, no dishwasher but fine for one night. Backyard could be improved.

just like it says..Cozy Cottage

really convenient to everything in town. we had our dog with us and couldn’t have worked out better. fenced yard with easy access to get in/out of the house was perfect. communication with the host was excellent.

ask the host about the auto sprinkler schedule, not a big deal but we left the car windows down and it got a little wet. thankfully, climate is so dry it dried up quickly and was all good

Little house in Lone Pine

A place for the dog to run. Quiet neighborhood. Great help from property owner. Warm pellet stove.

I don’t like that when making a reservation it appears that you’re getting great value, and then when you make the commitment they add a $50 cleaning fee. If it’s Air BNB then state that up front.

The owners/hosts were attentive when confirming check-in & -out and were so kindly available with all questions

The property is absolutely lovely and nestled in a quiet neighborhood. It was a bonus to have a front yard that can be enclosed so my dog could stretch his legs freely. The kitchen had everything I needed, living room was cozy, and the pellet stove was easy to use and worked very well. There is also a small, supplemental faux fireplace heater for the bedroom that filled in the heat to that back room perfectly. It is a simply comfortable, homey place to stay in a beautiful portion of the desert.
