David and Beverly were wonderful hosts, excellent communication prior to arrival, and a warm and informative welcome. The chalet was very comfortable, and impeccably clean. We had plenty of space and a well thought out kitchen inventory. A big tick for a proper teapot and good-sized mugs. The location was quiet and full of wildlife. We saw birds, deer, and the elusive red squirrel from the balcony. There's plenty to do both locally and further away.

A beautiful location with wildlife (red squirrels, deer etc) right on your doorstep, literally! Host was very informative with knowledge of area and advice.
We always leave where we visit clean and tidy but have never been requested to have to hoover and strip the beds before we leave. Found that a bit much and something that might possibly be covered in the cost?

Location very nice, owner very friendly. Sofa comfortable, bed comfortable.
I was a little disappointed at being asked to clean the accommodations and remove bedding when leaving. I have not experienced this before. I felt the dog charges were a little high.

Great location for us as kayakers. Good facilities (kitchen, bedrooms, wifi). The dehumidifier was also useful. Very friendly and welcoming owners.
It would be great if the windows had midge netting of some kind so that we could open the windows more.
