Our host, Valeria, was amazing. It was like no request would have been too much trouble. When our shower head became faulty on first use it was replaced immediately with a better one. Every day she also brought us something fresh from the garden or the bakery. The breakfast things were a mix of fresh and prepackaged. Having a kitchen was a real bonus even if the cutlery was a bit minimal. The space was artfully designed and we enjoyed the little terrace.
The bedroom was very comfortable- I had the best sleep! It had the best air conditioning we have ever used. Instead of a quiet hum it sounded exactly like a windy night- a variable soft breezy noise which I think lulled me to sleep really well. The location was flat and easy for walking the distances to the trains and town centre - 10 minutes plus.
For our visit it was a little over 20 minutes walk to the Pompeii ruins, nearest entrance, a 45 minute train ride to Salerno for an Amalfi Coast boat trip, and a slightly confusing train trip to Ercolano to see the ruins of Herculaneum.
We very much liked the food and drinks at Spinelli Bistro.
We highly recommend staying with Valeria for a visit in this area, and Pompeii town is great.
It was a little hard to find. Our expectations on what a kitchen needs are a little different to local ones I think.

La gentilezza di Valeria! L’appartamento è proprio delizioso e pulito. Posizione comoda per raggiungere sia il centro che l’ingresso agli scavi. Utilissimo il parcheggio!

Ótima recepção da Valéria. O tamanho do apartamento é muito bom para um casal e confortável, o Ar-condicionado funciona bem.
Única melhoria que eu faria seria adicionar uma máquina de lavar-roupa.
