The location was great—within walking distance of many of Rome’s attractions. The entrance is a bright green door tucked between two restaurants/cafés and doesn’t look like a hotel entrance at all, which we actually thought was kind of cool!
The included breakfast at the café was wonderful: cappuccino, fresh orange juice, croissants, and toasted sandwiches. The food was good, and we really enjoyed sitting outside at the café in the morning, watching the very active world of Rome go by.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The location, breakfast, and experience of being right in the heart of Rome made it a memorable part of our trip.
One thing to be aware of: our room was described as being on the second floor, but by U.S. standards it’s really the third floor because the ground floor isn’t counted. Normally that wouldn’t be a big deal, but when you’re over 60, traveling for three weeks, and have a lot of luggage, those extra stairs definitely matter! Thankfully, our host, Ekkaterina, was kind enough to help us with our luggage—and she is STRONG! 😊
We did experience some issues with the hot water during our stay, particularly on our last evening when we had no hot water at all. Hopefully, this was just an isolated issue.

Good communication before arrival. Ekaterina who works in the reception is helpful, welcoming and friendly. Modern, clean room in an historic building. Good AC, mini fridge with free drinks filled daily. My room had an inner courtyard window so not really a view but it was super quiet for a good nights sleep. The location was 5 star….restaurants right outside the front door, shops, historical sights are all in walking distance. I would stay there again.

The location is very central; it is easy to reach a lot of destinations by foot. The room was clean and had been modernised. The host was friendly and communication was excellent.
I had booked a "Deluxe King Room", so we were quite disappointed to see that the room was actually quite small. More importantly, the bed was a standard double bed instead of an expected king size. The room was boiling hot when we arrived, with no way to turn it down as the thermostats at the radiators had been removed. When the heating finally went off it became quite chilly. The room is extremely noisy and not sound proof. The street noise from below goes on until 3 or 4am and starts again very early. The stairs leading up to the room are steep and very worn out, making it unsuitable for people with walking problems.
