Sign of the Mermaid by AMI Locals Home in Anna Maria, Florida VR17-000054 Welcome to Sign of the Mermaid, a luxurious four bedroom, four and a half bathroom vacation home with a bonus loft that is just four houses from the sugary white sands of Anna Maria Island Beach. With inviting balconies, a large sparkling pool and hot tub, lushly landscaped grounds, and a generous patio space with a BBQ grill, this home will make your beach vacation out of this world! Highlights • Steps away from beach access • Private Pool and Hot Tub • BBQ grill • Steps from Anna Maria Island trolley stop • Ping Pong Table When you enter this home away from home, you will adore the gorgeous coastal furnishings throughout the living room, the fully equipped kitchen, and the dining room that has lovely treetop views. Soft colors and sunlight bathe the primary bedroom, with a lovely king bed with crisp linens, a private balcony, and an ensuite bathroom with double vanity and a large walk-in shower. Guests in the second and third bedrooms will have a peaceful night's sleep. Each has a king bed, beautiful ensuite bathrooms, and unique tiled walk-in showers. Flamingos abound in the fourth bedroom, whose king bed will lull guests to sleep. The loft offers two sets of twin-over-twin bunk beds for fun slumber parties. A large shared hall bathroom has a double vanity and a walk-in shower. Room Details -Primary Bedroom, 2nd floor: King bed, ensuite bathroom with double vanities and walk-in shower, private balcony. -Second Bedroom, 2nd floor: King bed and ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower. -Third Bedroom, 3rd floor: King bed and ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower. -Fourth Bedroom, 3rd floor: King bed -Loft Area: two twin-over-twin bunk beds. Take the free island trolley to Pine Avenue, where you will find unique shops, restaurants, and amazing desserts. Let the Sign of the Mermaid be your sign that it's time for an island vacation! - 4 cars maximum are able to park at this home. We ask our guests to please plan accordingly and coordinate with your group. There is no overnight parking available for additional vehicles. This property allows dogs with host approval prior to arrival. Please note there will be an additional pet fee associated, see our AMI Locals Rental Policies for full details. This home is managed by AMI Locals, an Anna Maria Island property management company. We do not accept reservations from anyone under 25 years of age. We do not allow persons under 25 to occupy a property unless accompanied by someone over 25 years of age.

Home was absolutely gorgeous and close walking distance to the beach. Loved the pool and whirlpool and the covered patio area next to it. Perfect for hanging out, grilling and/or playing cornhole or ping pong. The open floor plan between the kitchen, dining room, and living room was perfect for getting together for meals and just enjoying each other's company. Everyone in our group was very happy with this home.

11 of us stayed here for a family celebration week. House and location were perfect. Small little things with the house but maintenance was very responsive. Would highly recommend!

A beautiful home and layout with space for everyone. Great pool and hot tub and a short walk to the beach. Close to everything! Was perfect for our two families to relax and enjoy.

Nicely laid out, nicely finished house with beach access and close to “downtown” AMI. We had a great time! One significant downside - our group had come looking forward to using the pool & spa and neither worked for the duration and f our trio - even after multiple calls & a service appointment. Management did apologize & give us a portion of our money back however.

Only complaint was the pool was not heated….or at least 74 isn’t very warm. They said it was set to 82 but with the pool pump timer set to only run from 830 am to 430pm, it will never warm up with an electric heater. Probably would stay at other property next time just for that reason. Otherwise nice place and great location.

We had a great time. The house and management company were top notch. We had such a great time, we went to re-book for the next year and the cost was 70%+ more money. That’s super disappointing. Everyone has been hurt by Covid. I know we live in a capitalist society and you can charge what you think you can get. But that increase felt dirty.

This was a perfect house for three adults (two parents and one grandparent) and two kids (11 and 4). All bedrooms have king beds - and three of the four have en suite bathrooms (the two main floor bedrooms and one of the upstairs bedrooms). There are also two bunk beds (one with a trundle - five beds total) in the landing upstairs. We did not use these beds, but they would have been cozy for a larger party. We chose this house so we didn’t need to leave during COVID (although be aware the island is requiring masking as of October 2020). Or feels nearly brand new and was well appointed. Literally everything we needed was here. The kitchen was fully equipped with plenty of accessories for basic eating, grilling and cocktails. There is a gas grill on the pool level along with a pool table, ample outdoor seating and an outside TV. The pool is on the smaller side, and does not have a true deep end (a bit over 4 feet, do diving in is not an option). This didn’t detract from the Fun we had using it and the hot tub. The beach is a quick three minute walk down the street - although we didn’t use them, there was a wagon and chairs available to bring to the beach if needed. All in all a perfect family vacation house and we will be back!

The house was great but it looked like the cleaning crew did not properly clean the floors and dust. I had to sweep then purchase a swiffer mop plus the pool did not seam to be cleaned prior to our arrival. If it wasn’t for the cleanliness problem we would have rated higher. The location of the house is perfect and the kitchen is nice an open. Their was plenty of room for our two families. We come to AMI every year for vacation and always live it.

Super fun time!
We just returned from a week long stay at Sign of the Mermaid on Anna Maria Island and had a great time. The home was exactly as portrayed in the photos and was absolutely lovely. Our group consisted of 8 adults and 4 children and there was plenty of room for us all. The house is very spacious and decorated with cute furnishings. The kitchen is well stocked.
We enjoyed spending hours in the pool and hot tub. The back area is surrounded by lush palms which provided protection against the wind. There were two beach buggies that were filled with toys for us to bring to the nearby beach.
We would love to return some day and highly recommend this property.

Fantastic family vacation
Just returned from our stay with 5 grandchildren four years old and younger. This is the place to rent if you have little ones. The pool is perfect for small children, and the walk to the beach is short. Beautiful home! Would love to return someday!

Our family vacation in beautiful AMI at "Sign of the Mermaid"
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. The location was perfect for our walk to the beach everyday! The kids went back and forth from the beach to the beautiful pool area at the house. It was very hot the week we stayed and we really appreciated all the shady covered area by the pool. The bedrooms suited our group very well and the kitchen and dining area were perfect for us. We really didn't watch TV, we were busy doing things outside. The living room area was very comfortable though too. We loved it and would like to come back for another vacation together in the future. Thank you for sharing this perfect house with us and all your helpfulness and hospitality shown to our family. God Bless! Your visitors from North Huntingdon and Rostraver Township, Pa.

We had two families of five and the house was a perfect fit! Pool and hot tub were great for the kids, and having the beach just a short walk away was amazing! The house was in excellent condition, and provided a perfect atmosphere for a fun and relaxing vacation! We’d stay there again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful Stay!
Beautiful house in an excellent location. Fully equipped, spacious kitchen with large dining area. Excellent for multiple families. Our only complaint was that the outdoor shower area was unfinished, but a minor issue. Property manager was very professional and good to deal with.
