Amazing location for a stay in Carcasonne

Excellent location, fantastic views and lovely accommodation. The owners run the cafe underneath and are readily available, extremely friendly and helpful. We had visited the area many times so already knew was a great location but the views from the apartment are amazing.

Only the weather but the was not the fault of the accommodation !!

Wonderful stylish apartment in the centre of Carcasonne

The location of the apartment is fantastic! Sandra our host was welcoming & helpful, she gave us some great local tips & advice on where to go. Delicious food at the cafe below too!

Superb

We loved the location, proximity to the train station was our main reason for choosing but upon arrival the property exceeded our expectations. Although compact the apartment contained everything you would need. The triple window front opened out on to a lovely city square and as there was a festival in Carcassonne we were lucky enough to be able to view the free entertainment from our balcony. We had the pleasure of staying mid-July with our 2 daughters. From the outset our host, Sandra couldn't have been more helpful. She was full of practical information and advice about Carcassonne. Her husband Fred runs the bistro downstairs where we had lunch which was delicious. Overall Sandra was just a lovely person with a fabulous apartment and we really couldn't recommend it highly enough, will be visiting again.

We will definitely return for another stay in this apartment.

Our family loved our stay at the apartment, it was in a super location, very central, within walking distance to fabulous restaurants and had wonderful views. The apartment was very modern and extremely comfortable.

Beautiful apartment with amazing views and superb location

Tastefully decorated apartment and exceptionally clean. Lovely owner Sandra is very helpful and accomodating, gave us useful info and tips upon arrival. Location is superb, view is wonderful - overlooking the canal with boats and a pleasant park. There is a bus stop right below the flat that brings you to the medieval castle. The airport shuttle drops and picks just outside the train station, which is a very short walk from the apartment. It is also only a pleasant 5 mins walk to Place Carnot. The beds are very comfortable and hot water is powerful. We love this apartment, it is truly home away from home.

Fist class accommodation in every way

The location was perfect 2 mins walk from the train station and in the town centre with lovely views of Canal du Midi and close to shops, also alsongside a first class cafe with lovely fresh food. The apartment was amazing with everything we needed, the comfort and cleanliness ran throughout with two bedrooms and very comfortable beds, a lovely shower room, hot water all day long and a well equipped kitchen with cooking facilities and lots of dishes and kitchen utensils, also a wash room with washing machine, tumble drier, ironing board and a lovely sitting room with tv and large sofa (bed). The owner Sandra is a very caring, helpful and kind host and I would like to thank her so very much for a wonderful holiday and congratulate them for making this first class accommodation available. We are looking forward to returning.

Very good

Excellent location just across the bridge to the train station and 7 minute walk from place Carnot. Comfortable sofa and beds. Nice coffee machine.

Separate toilet doesn't have a sink for hand washing.

Amazing stay in the centre of Carcassonne with everything on your doorstep with the best view in Carcassonne

It was renovated to create a comfortable apartment in a beautiful building with an enviable position directly overlooking the Canal du Midi and the locks . A stylish interior, with modern facilities to ensure comfort .

A pleasant and well-equipped apartment in an excellent location by the canal.

The 2nd floor apartment has a good view over the Canal du Midi. It was conveniently located for the lower town with shops and restaurants nearby. Walking to the old town (Cité) took about 20 minutes. The facilities were very good and the owner Sandra was pleasant, friendly and helpful.

The apartment has an espresso machine but a cafetiere would also have been nice.

Lovely

A lovely two floor apartment in a great location, just by the canal and a two minute walk to the railway station. It has all modern amenities with the character you would expect and was left very tidy and very clean ready for us. There was even some bottled water left chilling in the fridge which was a lovely touch. The host Sandra gave us a very warm welcome, and was very helpful with local information about the area and possible things to visit. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

It was the perfect place for me from which to enjoy Carcassonne.

It was home from home with everything you needed. It is in an ideal location with beautiful views and handy for public transport. There is a bus stop right at the door and the train station is just on the other side of the canal. Sandra the host was on hand to make sure my stay was the best it could be. She suggested things to do which all worked out very well.

Cycling trip to the Pyrenees

very nice flat above the cafe owned by the same people, Sandra is very welcoming and gave us a tour of the flat upon arrival, if you wish you can eat breakfast in the cafe which makes eating very easy there is a shuttle bus from the airport for 6 euros which drops you opposite the flat (approx 10 min ride from the airport, the bus meets every plane arrival) this made our trip very easy as we were traveling with bike boxes the flat had everything we needed and is spotlessly clean with a very good shower and modern facilities we would not hesitate to stay here again

Exceptional

Excellent apartment with view on the Canal du Midi, the stuff was very kind and helpful. The apartment was very big and clean. The Cafe Bristol, which is in the same house as accommodation has amazing food, which you definitely have to try. Apartment is located in front of Carcassonne railway station and bus stop, if you don't want to go with bus to the old town you can walk there, it is just about 20 minutes by foot. Near apartment is also free public parking, so it is ideal when you traveling by car. I can only recommend this accommodation and I am looking forward to next stay in Carcassonne.
