Great spacious room with excellent facilities

The room: Spacious en-suite room with acces to a shared kitchen and garden. We stayed in room A at the front of the property which was massive and contained a large double bed and a single bed. The architecture really added something to the feel of the room. The bed was comfy. There were shower gels, shampoo and hair dryer provided. Facilities: The room had access to a shared kitchen, dining area and garden which was lovely. Within the shared kitchen, each room had an allocated fridge and ours contained complimentary jams and milk to go with the provided cereals and coffee - a nice welcome touch. Location: Location was good. It's a little outside of the main center but still within walking distance (about 10 - 15 mins walk to Place Carnot, about 5 mins to Jardin du Calvaire, about 15/20mins to the train station). The room faced onto the main road but was very quiet as there's not much open around the apartment except for a grocers next door. We have to give a shout out to the cleaning lady - she was very helpful and kind, and organised for us to store our bags ahead of the check in time. When we came back later, she had moved them into our room so we didn't have to do anything else. Thank you!

The toilet was clean, but it smelled a bit funky and drain like. We didn't have any airfreshener in the room so we ended up spraying perfume to mitigate the smell a touch. The fan/heater in the room didn't seem to work as a heater. We only had a very brief stay, so not much else to review.

the room we stay in was small , old blanket , shabby chic bathroom, sink facilities but I personally didn’t like the curtains , poor shower

Location ,and clean .

We were expecting a private apartment but we had to share the kitchen facilities, it turned out to be fine as no one else seemed to be using it, however this should be noted ,on the plus side the room was a good size and very clean and for us a very good location ,we enjoyed our stay in carcassonne very much .

Excellent place to stay in Carcassonne

Room was lovely, had everything you need, bathroom excellent. Kitchen area fab, well stocked and a real bonus when arriving after travelling. Instructions for keys etc communicated well. Close to centre ville and la gare.

would stay here again - great location and room.

very short walk to town, next to a deli with plenty cheese and wine options. very clean kitchen with great facilities.

our room was close to front door of building, so clearly heard conversations of other guests walking up the hallway. usually not a problem unless late at night.

We had a wonderful family experience!

The property was really wonderful! The owners have done a remarkable job renovating the property. The pictures of the property on Booking.com are accurate. It was nice to have a market next door for breakfast and produce. The owner accommodated our needs.🤗

Parking is on the street, so it can be a little difficult finding a place to park, but otherwise I loved the property.

Exceptional

Rooms are as pictured. Very clean with lovely terrace and kitchen area. The host Julie was very helpful with arranging a cot and car seat for our baby. Would highly recommend

A lovely base for a trip to Carcassone

Very stylish rooms with everything you need. Within walking distance of town. Nice little garden to sit in and get the sun.

Location was reasonable. Size of the room was quite small considering what it looks like when you’re looking at the pictures on here. Very clean Good decor

Clarity on what you’re paying for. There was no iron - contacted to request during visit and no response. Room A is next to the road which can be quite noisy and lots of flashing lights (near a police station?)

A clean, chic and comfortable room, well located for the town. Very nice host too.

We only had one night here but were impressed by the clean, chic and comfortable room. It was easy to get to from the airport bus, and well located for walks into town. The kitchen was much appreciated, with a shop right next door stocked with top-quality produce and regional foods, and a charming owner. We enjoyed meals outside on the quiet shared terrace. Overall a lovely place to stay.

Ants attack!!

The shared kitchen was nice. Easy to find parking. Nice little Shop outside. Comftable beds.

There were ants in the room. Don't live any food outside.

I would recommend.

Very happy with our stay! With its location, ease of access with a car, the spaciousness of the room, the nice decoration, its quiteness and fonctional kitchen, Le Logis Gout has met all our needs.

it was nice but i wouldnt necessarily recommend it .

A big comfortable room and easy to find.

There was no air conditioning for heating only one small heater. there was a very bad smell in the room that came from the bathroom.

Way too short and 8d out with no sun, feel a bit cheated so will be coming back again soon .

We arrived during the night and the gentleman grocery store owner was very helpful settling us in and helping out with booking a restaurant etc,. Very pleasant person who goes beyond giving access to the property..

Everything works well in the house at first thought it could be noisy as we had the front room however during the night there was no traffic at all.

Cute room , and it was a bit tricky for us the get the keys but we found it interesting, and the host was quite patient. Good recommendation for the Croissant :)

Basically nothing, however it would be better if the check-out time could be a bit later.

Comfortable and stylish home away from home

Decor, space, facilities. Comfy beds. Kitchen excellent for a short stay. Felt really at home from the moment we arrived. Highly recommended.

A bit of a walk from the medieval city, but not a problem if you have a car and parking was fine.

Great place for a visit to carcassonne

Very clean and beautiful room. We slept like babies. The parking was in front of the appartment and free. Self checkin was very clear and convenient. And the owner was very friendly.

In the morning the owner arrived with fresh bread and croissants and put it on the table for us. We were so happy but then another guest came and took everthing to her room. So we weren't sure if that was rude on her behalf or if we were supposed to order bread in advance. We're not sure what was going on there.

Superb

Perfect apartment, very nice and cool, very clean, the staff excellent to help with anything, i very much recommend… There is a small supermarket just nearby and the owner is much more than nice!

Great spot

The property was excellent with an excellent location. The neighbouring store was absolutely fantastic as well. The studio was well maintained. We arrived when humidity was very high - around 94%!! The room was very hot but the portable air conditioner managed to fight the humidity. The only issue was then the noise of the AC unit. There was nothing that the owners could do as I believe that humidity in that area is rare

Again due the humidity the drains made some smell but I don’t believe the owners could do anything about it
