About this house rental
Located in Port Charlotte, this charming house for $159 per night is a great choice for your next trip. This home has a great layout with the Master on the opposite end of the house from the other two bedrooms. The home has a nice quality feel to it with many extras like separate pantries off the kitchen, skylights, the dining room and family room have sliding glass doors that slide away to a screened in lanai and walk in closets in all three bedroom. The kitchen is at the center of it all, overlooking the family room & TV, the lanai, the pool and the canal. You will enjoy this wonderful kitchen that allows you a view of everything and contains all the tools you will need for your drinks and meals. The master suite has a king bed with new mattress, memory foam topper and cotton quilt with blue nautical stripes. The private bath features a large shower, storage under sink, large mirror with beautiful tile. The master has a walk in closet, dresser, media table with TV and cedar chest. On the opposite end of the house are two more bedrooms with a shared bathroom across the hall. One has a queen bedroom set with matching dresser and nightstands. The third bedroom has twin beds, memory foam toppers, with matching dresser and nightstand. All the bedrooms have TV's, walk in closets and beautiful, colorful coastal quilts. On a canal with dock and lift, just 10 min from the Charlotte Harbor, this vacation home offers great fishing, sites with wild life and comfort. The home is very spacious with sky lights and tall ceilings all freshly painted with new contemporary luxury furnishings for your every want and need. You are near so great restaurants, shops of every kind, beaches and entertainment. Four flat screened TVs and WiFi connect you to the media. Your oversized 2 car garage keeps your vehicles protected from the sun. Near you is the harbor where beaches, parks, water views are only minutes away. You may not want to leave the lanai! It is spacious offering a great place to dine, grill, play games and hang out overlooking the solar and electric heated pool and the canal. You also may fish, go boating or simply enjoy the sunsets as the lanai faces west. Most of the restaurant chains that Florida has to offer are within a 5 min. car ride. There are many wonderful seafood restaurants on the water. Fisherman's village in Punta Gorda is 10-15 min. away as are many more restaurants and attractions. In less than an hour you can go south as far as Ft. Myers and north as far as Sarasota and there are miles and miles of beaches in between. Englewood is only 20 to 30 min. away making Port Charlotte a great, less populated less congested home base for exploration..

Just what we were looking for in the area we wanted to be.The property was wonderful and the owners were extremely attentive to our needs. As exampled by the fact that we had an issue with the on site BBQ and they replaced it with a new one within hours. The pool was clean and heated to perfection. The unit was furnished well with all of the amenities that one would need. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing and not far from all of the necessary services for everyday living. We would highly recommend this property and would stay there again in the future.

This home lived up to to the expectations and then some. You never know what actually will be the reaction after you open the front door. In this case, the property exceeded our expectations. It is well laid out in a very quiet location. It is also hard to argue with the idea of making a meal and having it on a screened in lanai....and just a few steps more you are enjoying the "heated, private" swimming pool. This is a tremendous property and I encourage anyone looking at it for a week away from the routine to give it some serious consideration.

Had a slight issue when we arrived, but it was handled quickly by the owner. She was extremely friendly and totally understanding. We thoroughly enjoyed the awesome pool and lanai. The guys even enjoyed fishing in the canal.

The property was just as advertised- we had family there and was in a perfect location. It was in the middle of all our activities- A day trip to Naples, a boat ride in Charlotte Harbor/ Englewood Beach/ followed by a day trip to Siesta Key.

Perfect place to stay for our “Girls’ Outing”. Six of us came from Chicago area to visit our friend in Port Charlotte. She’s a mere 5 minutes away from this rental.
The place is as nice as pictured, very clean and comfortable. We ate out a lot, so didn’t do any cooking, but the kitchen was well equipped. Shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, dishwashing soap, laundry detergent were available. The property manager and owner were easy to reach, and responded promptly. Would definitely consider staying here again.

My wife and I just returned home from a 3 night stay. The house was clean and well stocked with all the amenities we could possibly need. Located within a 10 min or less drive to grocery stores and restaurants. We took a day trip to Siesta Key and it only took about an hour, maybe a little less, to get there. The pool is very private, surrounded by tall vegetation, and we never saw any neighbors. When you factor in that you can prepare your own meals, this house can be a money saver over a hotel, especially if you stayed with couples, or the family. We are already planning our trip for next year. The property owners were also very responsive with answering our questions, and we never had any concerns to raise to them. Awesome house, highly recommended!

House was exactly as picture in the listing. Super clean with all the amenities you could need. Nice quiet neighborhood but super close to countless food and shopping options. Loved the pool and lanai area and having the canal out back was awesome as well. Only had one small question for property manager and was answered very promptly. We definitely plan to return next year.

The house was great except for a couple things like the door handle to leave the pool to walk to the canal was broken & the dining room fan just wouldn’t turn on but those things did not affect our stay at all. It was a great clean home with lots of room, a lovely pool & even though my son is 6 I really appreciated their baby proofing around the pool. The gulf was about 30-40 minutes away depending on what beach you wanted to go to. Our family will definitely be considering using this house again for another vacation!

Pros: This was a wonderful house for our week in Port Charlotte. The house was very clean with ample seating. The neighborhood was quiet and calm. The pool. cage, and patio were clean,and well maintained. It was nice to eat outdoors or have a place to sit and watch the kids play The air conditioning worked great our whole stay and the skylights let in lots of natural light. Being so close to town it was easy to get doordash or run out for ice cream. Both the owners and property managers were nice and responsive. It was about an hour to Sarasota and an hour and half to Sanibel. The Irish pub in punta gorda was amazing and Hurricane Charley's was a nice outing as recommended. For ice cream Crazy Cones, Sweet Scoops, and Harborwalk Scoops were all fantastic.
Cons: The pool wasn't as warm as we expected. When I booked the listing had mentioned solar heating but by the time our vacation arrived that had been removed.
Some throw covers would be nice for that chilly time after pool in a/c. Most of the beds were very firm and the pillows flat. I found the queen in the second bedroom to be the most comfortable. The light switches were confusing and some didn't seem to operate anything at all. There was no garage door remote to put in the car. No dishsoap, detergent, shampoo, conditioner,etc. usually there's travel sizes of these.
Overall I would recommend this place to others and with a little attention it could be perfect.

Overall this is a really nice home. the pool and Lanai were wonderful. Lots of time spent in this area reading and enjoying the pool. Also being on the canal was fun, we enjoyed watching the boat traffic. The house is equipped with everything you need. Linda is a good host. Property managers Paul and Laurie were easy to work with. Any problem was addressed quickly.

Stayed in May 2023. Neighborhood is quiet! Very nice dock on the canal. Saw boats traversing the canal daily, saw fish jumping. Multiple neighborhood nature parks only a couple minutes away abundant with birds and other wildlife. Convenient location to many activities such as quaint downtown Punta Gorda, beaches of Manatee Key, Preserves of North Port. Mayaka State Park is an hours drive-so we didn't have time to explore that. Siesta Key beach (best beach) only 45 minutes. Adorable Venice is less than 15 miles. So much to choose from.
As for the property... it has everything you need to just stay there and relax. Very Clean! Kitchen has abundant supply to cook for a crowd. Some previous guests weren't very kind/respectful and have scratched the nice Paula Dean cookware, but there were plenty of other pots and pans to use. 2 separate living room spaces, the outdoor space under covered lanai is wonderful!! Overly spacious and cool with over head fans and nicely shaded. Pool was beautiful the day we got there. Recently resurfaced. However Pool Heater wasn't working and Laurie, the property manager was quick to have the pool company come to solve the problem. Unfortunately with the heat and sun that made the algae bloom out of control overnight. Again, Laurie responded immediately (attentive property management is a godsend!) and had tried to get the pool company to return to correct the issue, but they did not respond to her very quickly. Her Husband however came the next day to help us manage the algae. He also did a great job, but we were unfortunately unable to use the pool before we had to leave for home. I think this was a very isolated incident and beyond the control of property owners/ property managers. They responded immediately and were very accommodating. Overall this is a great spacious pool/ canal home. I would be comfortable returning again, as the house is great and the customer service was stellar.

We were very pleased with this property—it’s been maintained well and was very comfortable and clean. The owners shared both the property manager’s contact info along with their own, just in case, but we never needed to contact them and never had any issues worth calling about. The only issue we had was the door lock/alarm being tricky to set, but we figured it out. Would highly recommend this listing!

This is the second time we stayed here and plan to return again! The home is clean, well appointed, great outdoor space and the heated pool is fabulous! My son loves fishing off the dock and we spent so much time in the pool. Great location to restaurants and stores! We had a very minor issue that was resolved quickly by the property managers. We highly recommend this home for a perfect getaway and family time!

We went down here with my family & my parents for the week. There was plenty of room for all of us. Awesome heated pool. Good rooms with comfy beds. Crab trap that we loaded with bait & caught off the dock. Tried fishing but didn’t catch anything. It was an awesome week in Port Charlotte!

We enjoyed the house and the pool! We barely spent time in the house other than to sleep. The dock was relaxing and we enjoyed watching the fish and other wildlife!! We had a few questions and the property manager got back to me promptly and all was taken care of. Would definitely stay here again!!

The pictures didn't lie on this one. The house was very nice. The furniture was nice with plenty for larger families or multiple couples. The home was very nicely appointed and just felt comfortable. Pool area was beautiful and plenty of room in the sun or shade with the veranda. Unfortunately there a lot of things that keep this from getting 5 stars. They patio doors were difficult to open. The pool was freezing cold because the heater didn't work. Never got to use it which was one of the reasons we chose it. The dishwasher racks have the propensity to just keep rolling out of the washer because they are missing parts. Nearly had some disasters when they were loaded with dishes. There were a lot of little bugs that seemed to like the refrigerator area. You were only left with one garbage bag and no cleaning supplies. Since you are instructed to remove all of your food and eating supplies there are no spices and such for cooking. You have to buy them then either take them home or throw them away. For us the beauty of the home isn't enough to make us want to come back.

needs a new grill ,wheel broken cooking a steak I closed the cover and opened it the whole insid was in flames.very dangerous. Garage door needs to be oiled before it breaks. light in garage is burnt out . canapy over grill needs to be steaked down almost blew over , we put some bricks on it to stop it from moving.other then that we loved it if anyone cancels for Feb.next year call us.

Normally we stay in Englewood, but this was a great change of scenery. Very close to all amenities. The home was huge and very accommodating. We loved the quick access to Port Charlotte Harbor as we boated everyday of our trip. We will be back and be sure to recommend this property to our friends.
