With 50' of frontage on the AuSable River with a seawall & dock to secure pontoon, speed boat, fishing boat or jet skis! Only a short 5 minute boat ride to access the turquoise waters of Lake Huron. Here to fish? You'll find bass, walleye, perch and steel-head right in your backyard! Walking distance to restaurants, shops, ice cream and downtown beaches etc. Lots of family fun provided with board games, cornhole, ladder ball, beach caddy with chairs, toys & towels, fishing poles/small tackle box, chairs and hammocks. Super cute A frame house, right on the Au Sable River. Nothing was missed in this house. My 12 yo fished from the back yard for 3 straight days and also magnet fished from the bridge. Very nice and accomodating owners.
The only negative was the bathroom barn door slowly slid open all the time. There was a rope type lock but it didn't work great. But this could be an easy fix with a hook and eye lock. Overall, great experince at the river house. Perfect for friends or family.

We've stayed at rental properties all over, in this and other countries, and Jerry and Jen are probably the best hosts we've ever had. I was nervous about having the hosts right next door, but it turned out to be such a bonus as they were incredibly helpful and friendly and made us and our guests feel so welcome. The highlight of the trip for our kids was all the fun they had on the Maui mat that Jerry pulled out for them to use on the river!
The house was was lovely, clean, and incredibly well-appointed...it had everything you'd need, and even some stuff you didn't realized you'd need! The location was perfect for quick bike rides into town for ice cream or the lake beach, fishing off the dock, or kayaking the river or boating to the lake. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

Jen & Jerry are 2 of the kindest people I’ve ever met and did everything to make our stay as wonderful as possible. The house was the perfect size for our family of 5, it was extremely clean and stocked with lots of things you would forget at home. The location on the river was awesome, the kids could have fished all day and didn’t want to leave. Thank you Jen & Jerry for your hospitality and an amazing place to stay, we’ll definitely be coming back!

We were able to fish right off the dock and we were planning on tubing, but last minute since we had enough kayaks launched right at the house and went upriver and back down, much more convenient. We enjoyed the games on the deck along with several of the board games and even attempted one of the puzzles, but kept busy and never got a chance to finish it. Used the bikes to bike into town and beach.
The bedding was comfortable and we were surprised to find a pullout sofa. Our 3 kids were all able to have their own beds. All of the amenities were top notch, like you would find at your own house, not a rental trying to cut corners. My phone port broke.....could not charge with my charger, I was rescued by the cordless chargers supplied. I can honestly say this was the most thoughtfully furnished house. They though of everything and it was there.
Jerry and Jen were helpful in giving ideas and suggestions and we appreciated it. If we come back to the area, we would definitely stay again.

Stayed here with the wife and 2 year old for a long weekend. Very short drive to the beach, and about 15 minute drive to Tawas. Our 2 year old likes waking up in the middle of the night and wandering around, so she ended up sleeping downstairs on the couch instead of the upstairs bedrooms. There’s also a pullout couch on the main floor, so the space is very accommodating!

The house is right on the river and we enjoyed fishing and hanging out riverside. I will definitely be looking for this place on my next trip to Oscoda!

5 stars!! Cute, comfy, and everything you need. Super comfortable beds. Very clean. Had all the spices, utensils, cookware you could need. The decor is great. Super clean. Highly recommended. Just a few feet from the river. Walking distance to the Au Sable Inn - great food. Owner was friendly and easy communication. Did I mention the great homeade cookies and wine upon arrival. We were in town for a wedding and this place was perfect for us. Our weekend was very busy and this was very relaxing and comfortable to come back to each night. It had everything we needed plus nice extras provided by the hosts. We wish we could have had one day to just relax at the river house, beautiful property, river and fire pit. We would definitely stay here again.

We found this house a few years ago and now we stay here just about every time we come to Oscoda- even though we have family who lives nearby. The house is perfect for us, beautiful being on the river, and all the amenities we need. Every time we stay they have made thoughtful additions or upgrades. Perfect hosts that always make you feel welcome and give awesome surprise treats when you arrive! Going back for a long week soon and we can’t wait!

Adorable little cottage right on the banks of the Au Sable. The house was decorated so cute, everything was clean and maintained and the beds were very comfortable. The hosts are very responsive to questions. It was so fun to be right on the banks of the river and we were within biking distance to the beach. Love this house and would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay! We're so excited to come back next year. We loved being able to use the kayaks. It was our first time using kayaks and with the new dock, it was so easy getting in and out of the river. The fishing was great and being right on the water was so beautiful and made the trip awesome!! And the cookies and donuts were delicious! Thanks for everything!!

Jerry and Jen have thought of everything! Cozy home with even cozier beds! Kids had a blast playing in the river! Relaxing just sitting at the river’s edge watching the water and boats float by! Would definitely return!

Our family of four adults loved relaxing, fishing and preparing meals in this beachy, extremely clean and comfy home! The Au Sable river is a couple steps off the front deck and we loved just hanging out outside watching my husband catch so many fish! Jerry and Jennifer are wonderful hosts and just really great people. Delicious fresh baked cookies and a bottle of peach wine with a welcome card on our arrival and their attentiveness and kindness were just amazing! We also enjoyed Lake Huron Beach and gorgeous stops along The Scenic Byway. Thanks so much for everything, Jennifer and Jerry! We will be back for sure!

Wonderful!!
This was our first trip as a Family with our Son and Daughter in Law and our two Grandson's ages 4 and 1. We were super thrilled with our little home away from home for a few nights. Everything is new and clean and the layout was perfect with the parents and kids upstairs and Grandma and Grandpa B downstairs. The decor is super cute, beds super comfy, and we absolutely loved the fact that the kitchen had everything you could think of for preparing meals; they even had an Insta Pot!! The adults had a blast playing some of the games they had available and even watched a movie one night!
Jen and Jerry had fresh cookies waiting along with a bottle of wine and a thank you card. They came by to say Hi and were always available to answer any questions before and during our stay!
We loved the location being on the river and the beach is about a 5 minute car ride. We also rented a Pontoon one day and had a great time as there are dunes you can pull your boat up to!
A great trip and we are already looking at dates for next year!!!
