Conveniently situated in the Heart of Destin across street from the BIG KAHUNA Water Park. SECURITY GUARD at entrance, COVERED parking, two tennis courts, movie rentals, game room, DELI with gift shop. Enjoy the TIKI bar overlooking the beach and the INDOOR/OUTDOOR heated pool with waterfall. Work-out in on site EXCERCISE room. Enjoy a glass of wine in the HOT TUB or relax on the large sun deck. Pelican Beach is the perfect family 'Destin-ation.' Theme parks, numerous golf courses, excellent restaurants, and shopping are all just minutes away. This tastefully decorated and comfortable condominium has a PRIVATE BALCONY to enjoy those wonderful Florida sunrises or enjoy afternoon shade after coming off the beach. Spend your vacation with us, and you will come back again! The living room has a convertible sofa that makes a queen size bed. We have 3 LCD TVs, 3 DVD players, & WIRELESS HIGH SPEED INTERNET access. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is really nice and cozy. it's decorated nicely with newer furniture and super comfy. There was a lot of construction going on during our stay which got pretty noisy with paint and chemical smells as you walk around the grounds, but at 20 floors up, it is unnoticeable. There was a water main incident so we were without water for roughly 1.5 hours, but as they say $h!t happens. You are only given a starter supply of necessities, so you will want to be prepared for that going in, lesson learned for us. We were also not prepared for the cafe to be closed while we were there. We did not have a car, so our plan was to eat at the cafe to make it easy. We just made other accommodations, but would have been nice to have known ahead of time. The views are spectacular and couldn't get enough of them and the beautiful clear water. I do recommend the owner either replace or grease the screen doors on the sliders as they are very hard to open and close. Other than a few minor issues during our stay, we loved it!

Overall we had a great trip, and the condo and beach were beautiful. There were just a couple of negatives. First, the owner did not send me our check-in information, so we were held up quite a bit at check in until I called and texted her and she got back to me. Second, the property itself was going through major renovations, and it was noisy, dusty, and with heavy paint smells the whole time we were there. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time.

The host was quick to respond which was wonderful. I traveled with my elderly parents in November and they were cold most of the time. Unfortunately the blankets were not enough for them. I felt fine but they complained they needed more blankets. We had to use every blanket already because we were using each bed and pullout couch. My mom slept in her sweatshirt the whole time.
I was sad to learn once I arrived that the cafe and outdoor tiki hut were closed for the season. Had I known that I would have probably just booked a hotel on the beach. Overall, the condo was beautifully decorated and the hosts were thoughtful. I didn’t notice the beach bag with the towel, ball and waters until I was leaving. I wish I had so I could have saved on buying those items from the Nextdoor stores. Such a sweet gesture. Thank you so much. Would stay again in a warmer time of year when things were available.

This is our second time staying at this condo because the first time was so perfect so why stay anywhere else! We very much enjoyed the comfort the condo has to offer and the space. We stayed at other condos in the Gulf Shores and this is 100% our favorite. The beds are comfortable, the chairs are amazing (yes I actually looked at the tag because I would buy them myself lol), and the kitchen has everything you need. The owner respond so quickly they must have a special notification so you’ll always be able to contact them for anything you need. They went above and beyond during our stay so if you’re looking for a place by reading reviews- definitely book here and you won’t regret it. Thanks!

I have stayed at 3 condos now for our annual military
"combat brothers" and spouses. This one was fantastic. Even though the weather could not be controlled, the reunion could. I would definitely utilize this owner again and recommend to my friends. Such a nice, clean place to stay.

We have been coming to Destin for the past 7 years (off and on) and we have stayed in a couple different condos within Pelican Beach Resort. This is by far the nicest, cleaniest, and well decorated condos we have ever stayed in! Will be booking again in the future!

The property's location is great. Lots of restaurants, shopping and entertainment to choose from. Checking in was smooth. The property was very clean and the description was exact as mentioned online. The view to the beach from the balcony was phenomenal. Thanks for hosting our family.

Beautiful property! Everything we wanted to do, ended up being minutes from Pelican Beach. Loved being able to rent beach chairs ahead of stay. Really enjoyed our time here.

Really enjoyed the stay. Great place. Did not like the property’s beach chairs taking up the whole beach and not being used. Most were empty but we still could not set our up close to the water. Would definitely rent again.

We had a great time. The view is amazing, and we had plenty of space. The pools and beach access were great too. The tiki bar was so cute! We used the chairs in the room, and the ones for rent are nice but we got a good enough view from bringing the ones provided. Everything was clean and nice except the floors. Our feet turned dark and we had only been there for a couple hours. I would just recommend having them cleaned better. Other than that, we loved it. The location was great. Beach to the back bars/crab island to the sides and front! Definitely recommended!

The condo was super clean and smelled fresh. It was everything we expected and more. We did not encounter any issues with the resort or staff. Everyone was polite and courteous. Communication with Becky and Lonnie were excellent and any questions we had were answered promptly. Would definitely stay here again. It’s a paradise away from home!

The pictures of this condo are a little deceiving. The pictures make it seem like everything is in pristine condition but that is not the case.
The couch is not in the condition shown in the pictures. It was dirty and uncomfortable and worn. We actually had to purchase a fleece blanket from Walmart to lay over the couch so we can feel somewhat comfortable sitting.
The end tables by each side of the couch had scratches and seemed old and worn.
The shower head in the master bathroom had an accumulation of mold so we opted to shower in the second bathroom.
The light switches were dirty and grimy.
All of these issues affected how we felt in the condo which is not great but ok. It wasn't perfect.
These issues were mentioned to the property owner and she confirmed she would address them. These details are very important for a perfect stay.
Not sure I would rent this unit again.

My husband, myself and another couple stayed at this beautiful condo. It looks like the pictures on the listing. The beach was great as was the Tiki bar. Loved seeing dolphins from the balcony! Great location too. We would definitely rent again and would highly recommend this place. The only thing missing were beach towels but this did not take away from my rating.

Condo in best location. Has a spectacular view of the gulf. The condo itself was filthy. The cleaning company barely does a surface clean. Doubt the floors are mopped. Socks turned black. The place doesn't look like it's been deep cleaned in years. The bathrooms were gross. Mold, mildew and soap scum so thick. The toilets had so much mildew, mold and God knows what under the rim. The toilet brush in the master was nastiest thing ever. The furniture just as bad. The most uncomfortable furniture ever and very dirty. The master bed had no support. Our daughter used the guest room. Beds were uncomfortable and she didn't dare turn for fear of waking up her young daughter. Pillows are worthless. When a person pays almost $9000 to rent a place, you expect it to be clean especially when you are charged cleaning fees.

The condo is exactly how it looks online. It is decorated beautifully with the best views of the ocean. The owners were very prompt at answering all of my questions leading up to the trip and even while we were on the trip. They gave great advice regarding things to do in Destin and their advice to book beach chairs for the week we were there was clutch as the beach during spring break
